We received a very nice welcome from a waitress speaking French. We were able to enjoy the Ombragé terrace which of course added to our enjoyment. The dishes are very classic but special attention is paid to the organic origin of the products.

Very fine cuisine. Different flavors are combined on one plate. We will come back and look forward to a dessert. Map could be something slimmed down, just for my feeling. Less is more.

Kitchen creative and very good — service unfortunately not so good.

We searched for a place to eat and we found ourselves here by chance. Incidentally, the waitress who greeted us was Spanish and was very attentive and pleasant at all times. The food was great and the atmosphere very cozy, although perhaps it became less something of music to accompany, but that is a personal taste. It was a meal that we enjoyed so much.

Great atmosphere, beautiful place! However, I didn't think the food was very tasty… and the waitress kept mixing two different wines in my glass…! So very nice, but definitely not perfect.

We were many times in the "Sun" and always happy. The kitchen is top notch and is rightly praised. What I miss in the other reviews, is a reference to the breakfast. One of the best breakfast buffets I know! It's all simple here, and then another in organic quality: homemade bread, a wide range of cereals, cheese, sausage and ham, teas, and you can order hot food from the kitchen. It lacks nothing — to the ginger water. Very nice service.
And in the hotel is not saved on the mattresses and slatted frames!
Disadvantage: Some of the rooms are very small. That's why only four stars.

Such an outstanding menu (sun-season), I have already long not more eaten! It is possible HP Rombach again and again, first-class products in a creative compilation of perfectly cooked and beautifully served, to serve, and at a very reasonable price. The wines are quite excellent, even in the class of 20.30 Euro. The Service is warm and friendly. With or without star: the sun of St. Peter's for 15 years, my favorite restaurant in the South Baden region.

I am there to eat. My conclusion: An excellent Restaurant. Not only the Service is 1a, also the food tastes excellent. A large part of the offer is organic on the menu is clearly stated, what are the ingredients in General Farming. In addition to the published in the Internet menu, there was also a one-day pass, which is even cheaper meals included (I ordered mine there, an organic salad with organic chicken, which is excellent). Arrival by public transport (bus stop nearby), Parking is also very close to and who with the round of Freiburg from boots, its Apple juice earned. Everything top clean. In the Hotel itself, I was not, but it makes from the outside a very good impression. In fine weather, you can probably sit outside. The Restaurant was very well attended, we knew this, and had therefore reserved.

Mr. Rombach it creates regional specialties in Sternequalität on the table. A highly creative cuisine in conjunction with exquisite wines always brings back great Essvergnügen. No special offer but reasonable in price. The Michelin don't like star more forgiving, but the sun shines bright enough.
