Very friendly staff, stylish decoration, nice breakfast and very well located, I recommend the Villa Bougainville!

Lovely place not far from all bars restaurants and sea front.

Very special and welcoming rooms! The staff were very nice! Fresh lemonade and sometimes brioches are offered from 2pm for a nice snack. Coffee and chocolate are always available to guests thanks to the comfortable machines. It is also possible to take free umbrellas to the beach, very comfortable for those like us who can not take them from home.

Good location, beautiful decoration and welcoming staff. Small downside for small defects (room too small, sliding door of the sdb difficult to close, toilet paper door unclear, air conditioning not optimal, elevator too small)

Great little hotel. Feels like they actually care about the customer. Highly recommended.

Poor service and lack of information led to an overall bad experience. Rooms ok but small with thin walls. One complementary small bottle of water for a double room, nice.

Great hotel great city was a pity it was full of Chinese with a bit more manners they would be nice people.

The room we stopped in was ok nothing special but it was clean and tidy so can not moan to much. The reason for the 2 Stars is down to a couple of issues. Number 1 being we have stopped over a hot weekend weather Wise which is good but unfortunately the rooms air-conditioning is very bad and does not seem to work well at all making it very uncomfortable now this good just be a room thing and not the rest of the hotel but I did mention it and got told it was normal. Number 2 the one staff member was not helpful with this situation and just didn't care however the second person who I spoke to later in the day was and fetch a fan. Also they kept forgetting to give is towels wbiwh was frustrating. Probably wouldnt stop again unfortunately as location is good.

Recently renovated very nice and stylish Hotel a few steps from the station, very knowledgeable and friendly staff.

All in all good though to be four star breakfast a bit overwhelmed; Small room.

Nice and comfortable hotel, it is 4 minutes from the train station.

Nice and cosy hotel in the Center of Nice. Train Station can be reached in less than 5 minutes But… stayed in a double room, which was very tiny, and had towels only for 1 person (1 big and 1 small towel). We stayed 5 nights and did never get towels again. I told the staff everyday but they couldn't solve the problem. At least after 3 days of complain we got our towels. How comes? Never ever a 4 star hotel! Although the staff was always friendly.

Although it has 4 stars it does not have the services of that category. The room is really small and we don't talk about the bathroom! I didn't like it at all, the waitresses on the floors are very noisy; They woke us up while they placed the rooms close to us; Inconceivable! And they never play before they come in.
I gave 3 only because the guy at the front desk was very nice. For the rest I do not think I will return to this hotel, also because the price is not worth the service! and especially the structure.

4 stars in the category of small city hotels. Very good breakfast which is still not worth 14th, very good relational customer and especially beautiful decoration. Many small attentions are made to us (coffee, snack etc…). I recommend and now I will look first in Happy culture hotels on my travels.

A cosy little place, very very close to the central Gare (train station). Accessible on bus route. Slightly far from the beach / promenade but we used to walk up and down to the beach :) the walk there takes you through the city streets, filled with shops, restaurants and ice Cream parlours :) The inn keepers were very friendly, courteous. Helped us book tours and provide some local information as well. The rooms are small, and rear facing ones haven't much of a view. But theyre very comfortable. Basic amenities like a tea/coffee station, a small closet, a TV (limited English viewing). Bathroom is small but sufficient; clean and very good quality fittings. The shower could have Beena liiiitle bigger though :) The breakfast was great and with variety. And they also have some healthy, snacky stuff available at times in the afternoon and evening in the lobby. Thank you for the experience :)

The rooms on the street are not supposed to be rented at All. The noise is like sleeping on the Street. Breakfast is good but not worth 14 euros. The location is perfect, right at the train Station.

A very fancy hotel near the train station in Nice. Ideal for a city trip to nice, the town centre is within easy walking distance, alternatively by Tram. The room was clean and the breakfast was very good. We would definitely stay there again.

Our room was nice and clean, however the bathroom was very small and uncomfortable. We've request cleaning service for both days, but they didn't cleaned at all. Breakfast selection was poor, staff was careless to top up anything run out. My girlfriend is vegetarian, last day there was no cheese, vegetables, eggs, plates, cutlery, juices etc. She had to eat buttered toast for a £12 breakfast… Wifi totally useless… It was something you can experience in a 2 star hotel.

Stayed 4 nights, staff very helpful and attentive, room was a good size, funky decor, breakfast was plentiful and fresh, not too expensive.

Pretty room, convenient location, and super nice staff at reception. Towels are not up to standard for the rest of the room. But I am happy in this appropriately named Happy Culture hotels group.

A haven of charm. Very refined decor. Very kind and helpful staff. I suggest they should add slippers for the shower in the rooms, which are smalls (however, this is quite common in France) but all in all well equipped, clean, quiet and comfortable. On the other hand, sunscreens, sunglasses and refreshing drinks, tropical fruit and sweet treats are offered to the guests. I would recommended it.

Our room was small, but had comfortable beds, a shower that had proper temperature control, a nice balcony, and closet. A few things were broken, like the bathroom handle and the room's deadbolt. Just across the street from the Nice train station. 20 minutes to the promenade. Not big or luxurious, but well worth the stay if your primary need for a hotel is a place to rest after a long day of sightseeing.

So charming place with excellent staff — you are feeling warm welcomed from the first step! Everybody are very helpful and friendly, hotel itself is so stylish that make you feel like in some crazy movie. Perfect location, free high tea every afternoon. It's perfect place to stay in Nice :)

Really average. Decor of the rooms are nice. Cleaners never replaced the toilet the roll or cups in the room though and did a rubbish job of cleaning in general. Reception staff were friendly. Very small rooms. No iron.

Great hotel. A little bit of a walk to downtown but very nice and clean. The shower doors didn't really close but other than that very nice stay and would recommend.

The rooms are fancy at this place, but what I really liked was the Service. Staff was very friendly and a good hotel is always the hotel that caters travelers needs. This one did!

Lovely friendly hotel. Clean comfortable room. Great decor. Very helpful staff especially to us on arrival telling us the best places to visit and if we had any problems don't hesitate to ask.

Beautiful Hotel. The room is functional, with an ultra complete equipment. I enjoyed the kettle in the room when I arrived with the tea and coffee. The coffee and a panel of treats are served at will in the afternoon on the ground floor. The breakfast is very tasty. Finally the staff is very professional and very friendly. I would of course recommend this charming and very displaced hotel in the heart of Nice worthy of a 5 star.

This hotel is as charming as can be. Attention to details made me smile and enjoy the experience.
Well situated for a wintery break, close to shopping and even closer to the railway station. Maybe in the warmest months something closer to the sea would be nice.
Service was nice and polite, and everybody was English speaking.
Breakfast beautifully French for a Nordic person — I could live on pain de chocolat and cafe au lait, and there was just the right amount of everything.
I would love to stay here again and will recommend it and try other HappyCulture places.

The rooms are ok but the service is not great. Plus they charge €15 for a very low quality breakfast!

Good functional hotel. Just been refurbished in most rooms. Was used as an overflow from the hotel next door, but a good replacement none the less.

The room we stayed at were small and did not look terribly clean. Furniture looked old also. Supposed to have 150ft, but did not feel like it at all. The worst part is the toilet. When I sat there, my knee almost touched the wall in front of me. There is Wi-Fi in room. Staffs are nice and helpful. Breakfast is available for 5-7Euro/person. Luckily, we found local bakery near by (probably "Boulangerie-pâtisserie du Pontin" at 45 Avenue Georges Clemenceau, 06000 Nice, France). We loved buying fresh bakery from here. Inexpensive and good! This hotel is only 2 blocks away from the train station, which is good. But, the area near the train station is not the best either. One morning, right outside of the hotel, a woman asked us for money, just like in USA!
