It's far from a 4-star hotel! It is closer to a 2-star. No fridge! No slippers! The curtains in our room are very dirty and have not been washed for several years. The worst: the sink clogged as soon as we arrived that the two receptionists came to unblock by disassembling it at 11:30 p. M. While we were in our pajamas. The pestilential smell of the sewers has invaded our room! A horror! Hotel to avoid absolutely!

Ok overall, being close to the Nice TGV station, having helpful staff and being reasonably fitted out. However, rooms were not ready for occupancy when I arrived. Very small rooms, with about 75 cm clearance around the bed to the walls and furniture. The state of the rooms was poor on my visit, with the first room I was offered having a broken door handle and very noisy air conditioning. The second room I was offered hadn't been fully serviced since it's last use — I didn't realise until later that the soap had been opened and used, the bins hadn't been cleared and the bath mat was still wet. Bed was made (hopefully sheets changed! ) and the room seemed reasonably clean. About 10 minutes walk to the beach (the closest part anyway), a few minutes walk to the TGV station, but 20 minutes+ walk to the old town area of Nice (where many of the attractions are). Hard to recommend with the room situation but otherwise would have been ok.

We love this little boutique hotel. Great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff and just enough of everything when you’re doing Europe on a budget — without the budget feels!

Very nice hotel in Art Deco style and staff at the top.

Located in a neighborhood of immigration, smells low-priced perfume, very small reception hall and poor breakfast without fresh orange juice. The toilet of one of our room dosen´t flash and the window view is just disgusting. Definitely, it dosen´t at all match 4 stars and the price.

Great breakfast and very friendly staff. Beautiful lounge. Cute little rooms. Parking nearby — 3 days for 50 Euro. Doors bit noisey.

Great hotel for your money. Very convenient location, no noise in the area, buns, tea and coffee around the clock. Very friendly staff. But the downside is that if you want to sleep in the morning-will not work. When leaving the room there is no Dovrochikov at the door, constant knocking doors!

Hotel proposed by the application VERY chic and sincerely there is absolutely nothing chic in this shabby home hotel, we arrived certe in advance (room scheduled at 3pm and we arrived at 13:00) Asian tourists arrived after us and have Had their rooms before we other guests also arrive and have their rooms…
Several hours to Poirot on an armchair the staff who yells before us awesome…
So that in the end my husband goes to see a staff member to complain and they tell us that our room is ready they had not seen us while we were there before their eyes finally short to avoid.

Nightmare Week.
I stayed at this property from 11/08/17 to 18/08/17: bad reception, insufficient breakfast, incompetent staff and not able to speak the Italian language as Guaranteed.
finally, after asking for the shower towels not present in the room and after a wait of about 6 hours, I am delivered some towels already used, dirty and smelly.
I write this review in order to prevent others from living my own experience, deceived by untruthful reviews and an image of the hotel that, expertly filtered on the web, gives an impression of this structure that nn corresponds to the slightest True.

No towels Crazy noises during night and daytime Shower doors leaking water in to the rest of bathroom. Water from shower not going away, after all all bathroom is sinking. Breakfest? If you can call them like that. Few bed slices and thats it, coffe machine always out of duty, breakfest table never ready for sit&eat.

General notice: Too expensive for the service! L. Hotel is quite design (retro), neat aesthetic, cleanliness is good but TT the rest deserves to be improved.
Comfort: 3 out of 10
Too noisy… the window closed badly, so always open on the street so as if we were there! Fine partitions So we hear all the neighbors. Bathroom too small, room also… J. Had asked for a real double bed and we had 2 beds glued so very uncomfortable for a couple who sleeps tight. No nice view in L. Hotel

In L. Set c. Is good… only snag: Used towels not changed! Abst Bath Mat on the 2nd day… and liquid soap shower breaking from day 1 and not replaced!

Nice home but is this only marketing? (See no commercial Action Suite small annoyances)

Too remote from the city center that moves… little reassuring neighborhood. Especially in the evening
Breakfast: 3 out of 10
Cute in presentation, but too simple, not very qualitative, impractical and always missing something! Server a bit overwhelmed…
Overall Price: 2 out of 10
Too expensive for the benefit! (150 euros at night env)

What's good in the Villa? The staff, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and that the coffee machine always is available. Our room had a bad smell during 5 nights. They didn't manage to fix it. The room was starting to need a maintenance as well. 2 days in a row where they don't give new towels. After complaining I got 2 small. Close to train. 12 min walk to the beach. Quite silent outside. Small but ok balcony.

Absolute waste of hard earned money! Stayed in a triple room that a) had a foul smell for the entire 5 nights that we stayed there. It basically felt like sleeping in a toilet. Upon requesting them to fix the issue, they merely sprayed the room with air freshener. That was a temporary fix. We still had to sleep through the foul odour of faeces. B) Sleep was disrupted due to inefficient air conditioning. It was effective only at times. C) we had to request the hotel to change our room after the first night as we woke up at 7 AM to the ear-splitting and noisy sound of construction work. Almost felt like someone was banging and drilling into our brains. Would have appreciated if the hotel told us about this in advance so guests could opt to stay elsewhere. We are on vacation after all and deserve to wake up at leisure. D) Check-in was taxing as well since they had new staff who was incapable of handling 3 guests. We were given one key between 3 people. The only upside was 1-2 staff members who were patient and tried to help us each time we had a problem (which was basically ever single day of our stay). The hotel has so much potential due to its location and concept, but due to the experience we had, I would not recommend it to anybody.

This place sure needs it's last star, they deserve it. It's close to all the action, it's about 10 minutes to the Beach and the night life there is amazing. It's also about 10 minutes to the "Main street " but these 10 minutes doesn't feel like 10, it feels line 3 minutes. The hotel has Good breakfast, very nice service and from 2 pm to 6pm they serve muffins and other stuff. The hotel rooms might not be the biggest but it works and it's Beautiful inside. Find yourself a café or something else to just sit down and look at people, No need to hurry to anything.

Very friendly staff, and very helpful. The hotel is small and beautiful, boutique style. The location however, is not perfect. If you want to be close to the touristy area and near the beach than this is not super close. It is just across the street from the train station and the car rental and bus station to the airport, which is convenient. Highly recommended!

Originally my stay was with best Western riviera hotel which was just few meters away from this hotel. I was then transferred to this hotel as, I think, it's under management happyculture. The hotel is great, the room is clean, neat, kettle and hot beverages was there. Toiletries is only hair and body shower gel. The staffs were friendly and helpful. Overall I enjoyed my stay there and would stay there again.

We had a fantastic stay at this little 'Belle Époque' boutique hotel — one of the best I have ever stayed in including 5-stars. The hotel is beautifully decorated — imaginatively yet tastefully, so that there is a distinct 'cabaret' feel — and spotlessly clean. Every detail, from decor to music, appeals to the senses, right down to the hotel's "signature scent"… The location is great — just 3 minutes' walk from the train station and you can even get the bus to the airport from there as well as trains to Cannes, Monaco etc. It's 10 mins from the promenade and about 20 mins walk or a short tram ride from the old town. However, as fairly frequent travellers, what we felt really set this hotel apart was the very high level of personal service — welcoming touches such as free Nespresso all day, croissants in the morning outside of the standard breakfast offering, and little sweets and cakes during the hotel's "Happy Hour" period or practically all day between the hotel group's nearby partner hotels… The hotel staff were second to none, they couldn't do enough for us and went out of their way to ensure that we had all the information and help we needed to get the most out of our short stay. Alexandre, and Alain were especially lovely! We are already very much looking forward to our next stay!

One of my most pleasant stays at a hotel in France. The day, afternoon and late even staff are so friendly and out of this world. Very fun to converse with and get to know. We asked for ice once and the young man ran around to the other happy culture hotel to grab us a bucket. What a champ. If anything was wrong without room they went out of their way to fix it or change rooms for us right away. I asked a question about something questionable that happend to me at a restaurant and they apologized for the town residents action even though the hotel staff had nothing to do with it. The staff makes the brand everything that it is. I hope their leadership and management team sees this and rewards them. I will be writing to their corporate office about this most excellent experience.

Very successful renovation for this host located in a very nice area, close to the train station and the city centre. The décor is very nice mixing the current facilities and the art deco style. The rooms are spacious, the bedding very comfortable and the staff caring. Nothing wrong, if not… come you won't be disappointed!
