Really very surprised because they refused us at the door of their establishment when it was only 20 o'clock! But I thought it was a continuous service. Anyway, we went somewhere else, and left with no regrets.

Magical setting with comfortable, modern rooms and Wi-Fi.

We went to Mont Saint Michel for 2 days and we stayed in this Hotel! Very convenient, right by the entrance on the main door to the Mont! Clean, and very handy to stay there! Breakfast is served next door in a restaurant. Good breakfast!

The detached restaurant "Les Terrasses de la baie" good, nice service and discreet value for money, instead les terrasses poulard very bad, bad service such that in front of the chef who renounces to make the tourist menus (in a place where tourism should To be as sacred as the Abbey) I felt compelled to get up and give up eating.

Mont Saint Michel As the marvel of this world does not deserve the stranglehold made by the group of mother Poulard who overexploits it and which is a real Cancer. This hotel for example, in addition to the other "Poulard terraces" takes advantage of the image of the mount to practice excessive prices that do not reflect the quality that should be at the rendezvous and leaves a bitter taste of deceit. I am exception of the restaurant of mother Poulard downstairs who has been part of the mount for generations and who has managed to keep at least one ounce of authenticity.
It is really a pity that one of France's showcases is assimilated to all these simpletons catches.

Nothing to complain about is very clean, the reception is nice, the room is spacious, the bathroom very well equipped. Small downside: The TV does not work at all and the walls are pretty thin.

And still the restaurant is only worth 1 star.
The staff were very friendly. Servers don't stop criticizing customers behind their backs.
The value for money = catching tourists even the meal was not super good, for the price one expects more quality and more quantity in the plates.
Watch out for the restaurant tickets. They only take 2, you would not be able to pay your entire meal in ticket.

Room very clean and very quiet, very warm welcome we will return home without hesitation.

My girlfriend and I had arranged a meal with an agency that included a number of things, including cafes. The fact is that we had a lot of communication problems since none of the waiters (for calling them something…) spoke our language, not even a bit of English, which is the minimum for such a touristy place. The food was unfortunate, it was recalentadísima, the amounts were tiny (especially the mussels), the desserts were all less homemade and the drinks did not reach the 20cl… Our surprise was that when we left the place we called the order why in their opinion we had 2 coffee cuts that totaled nothing less than €14! The steward waiter a short, bald and burly man of about 50 years, we rebuked and retained aggressively in the local just simply repeating "Quatorze €", my girlfriend and I felt frightened by their extreme aggression while we were the center of Attention of a crowded place. This vulgar character threatened to call the police while he was screaming and blocking us without reason. Finally I got in touch with the agency that spoke directly with this character and made him understand that was included in our menus the coffee of discord.
I do not understand how anyone is able to mount such a nasty scene by two miserable cafes with two people who treated them with respect and education from the minute zero.

Yesterday I was served langoustines, that smelled so badly, I almost vomited. When I politely asked waiter, to check them, she would smell it and just take it away and didn’t even apologise or offer anything to fix the situation. Stay away from this place.

Positively surprised. The rooms had clearly got a recent makeover. All was pretty new. It's not massive but, it's really cool to spend a night on the mont saint-michel! Staff was also very friendly :)

My bathroom door is friendlier than the restaurant waiters. It was simple when we arrived, we seemed to disturb them.
The food is good but at this price we hope much better.

Right in the heart of Mont saint Michel, this hotel gives a perfect experience of the place!

If I could have put less I would have put less.
Crowded room, for tourists and suite of dishes without tastes or flavors. Given the size of the kitchen, we should have known, but we are still staying, and I regret it. From the fish soup that looks more like water than anything else to the beer that costs 7 euros, everything was pure mess …

Exceptional Room 308! Seen beautiful on the bay! A modern Deco (grey and turquoise). Room very clean and nice bathroom (with bathtub)! I have nothing to complain about neither the room nor the reception pleasant and smiling!

Decided to book here despite varying reviews, but to my pleasant surprise I had a surprisingly nice stay. The hotel staff at the check in was friendly and helpful. The room I had was behind the reception and newly renovated. The room was small, functional and clean, the hotel also provides bottles of water which is a plus considering the prices at the shops (€2.70 for 500ml). However, there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms. Would recommend staying here for the budget conscious traveller.

Sleeping on the mount is a nice experience. We were very quiet at this hotel. The room for three (two adults and a six year old was spacious with everything you needed to spend your stay. )

Dealing with this hotel feels like you are dealing with a large beaucracy; inflexible, stiff and unfriendly. We woke to loud voices of staff — pretty ordinary.

The room was run down and quite small, but clean. Pleasant stay in this hotel.

I put 2 stars as note as the number of stars that should have this property in great need of renovation to deserve his 3 *. Actually Bay view is beautiful but in the room lacks a kettle, no channel + no bathrobe bath defective and damaged, defective lock… more Wi — Fi doesn't work.

I found this place on the internet as one of the cheapest hotels inside Mt Saint Michael. The actual room is in the building behind the main reception building up several flights of stairs. The receptionist is very helpful. Room is clean and functional. Overall this hotel provides excellent value. I would recommend this hotel to any budget conscious traveler.

Visited the restaurant here some years ago. Still recall the omelette with great fondness.

My bathroom door is kinder than the server that is big glasses.
The food is good, but at this price it is hoped much better.

Avoid! This is not the restaurant. Barely sitting as we n even no time to look at the menu card, what're you ordering office d. Not really to go your way… We are so tight that if l we take off the elbow of his body we touch its neighbor.

This review is for the hotel restaurant. This restaurant (and I use that term loosely) was appalling in almost all respects. Most of us opted for the menu du jour and chose the mussels in white wine as our main. While the mussels were well cooked, they were tiny and the accompanying sauce was utterly devoid of flavour, resembling something akin to dishwater. My wife's omelette was bland and the bizarre egg foam (clearly used to bulk out the portion size) was disgusting. Our desserts were a mixed bag: the ice-cream was good, but the chocolate mousse was a cheap imitation pudding and the apple tart was decidedly average considering they grow delicious apples locally. For the sake of full disclosure, our starters were quite enjoyable, including a camebert salad, prawns and farmhouse terrine. And what shall be said of the service, of which there was none… in short… aggressive, rude, slow and forgetful. Our waiter was impatient when taking our order, and generally seems aloof and curt. Our starters came quickly, but as most of them were cold, this was hardly and achievement. The rest of out food came relatively slowly, but our desserts took just short of an eternity to arrive. The ice-cream arrived first, but we were forced to ask where the rest of our desserts were. Somehow our waiter interpreted that as as a request to bring the bill, completely ignoring or forgetting the existence of or need for our desserts (that we would inevitably have to pay for).

Put you in condition, you're just one tourist among others. Retain the customer is not the watchword.
For children, fries and steaks frozen, very blah blah.
My omelet to the bastards was correct but the leg of lamb from my wife, blah blah.

After an attack of the server, which is obviously not a half second thought to give us and under the guidance of two caring people, we decide to leave, even without order, taking care to warn that "expensive" Server and apparently managing the shop.
The latter, "friendly", we press out of ridding the dishes for two people refusing to pay the Bill for a menu so mediocre. Incredible.
Judging by the other reviews, I think it is good to absolutely run this tourist trap. I think that the positive reviews come from employees or their entourages.
Justify the only star by the sight of the restaurant (or perhaps by the fact that we cannot put any. ).

A hotel to avoid absolutely!
The hotel is dirty, wallpaper is off, no stains on the carpet, stains on the sheets, tiny room photos, exorbitant price, breakfast is poor! Do not look into the small bar because drinks are outdated in 2011! Prepare a being woken up by household women who should learn the definition of the word discretion.
We had a groupon offer, I thought that this room was dedicated has this kind of reservation (half price so run-down) but I realize that all the rooms are in this State! It is truly scandalous to take advantage of people.
Frankly an ibis hotel is cheaper, cleaner and offers more choice for breakfast!

It was the most wonderful anniversary and birthday surprised my loving husband had given me. We had a week of enchanting time exploring Mont Saint Michel. The best time ever. Highly recommended and you will not regret it.

Expensive for dishes of bases:
The salmon or the mushroom omelet. Rather omelets serve with salmon or mushrooms.
