Hotel with very modern and nice décor, where I had fun staying for work.
But last September, I was robbed in my room on the way out for dinner and many personal belongings were stolen from me (jewelry, computer, mobile phone). I point out that there is no safe in the room (I learned later, there is a safe at the reception where to drop off valuables), and that the cameras are only present at the elevator corridor (do not overlook the rooms).
As there was no break-in, the hotel and its insurance refused any compensation, despite the intervention of the police that evening at 1 a. M.
I do not understand this decision because my credit card insurance has agreed to reimburse a small portion (the maximum limit) of what was stolen from me.
I thank the manager of the Hotel Madame Cacheux who has always been attentive but strongly condemns the attitude of Ibis and the Accor group and their assurance which call into question my testimony and the occurrence of the burglary.
