Wonderful charming French hotel in the center of Paris.

Original and very beautiful hotel. Ideally located on the Grands Boulevards with the metro 2 steps away. Clean and quiet.
The staff is really very friendly thank you for everything. And a clarinet caress of course.

What a perfect hotel for any Paris visit. Everything is as it should be, wonderful staff and delicious breakfast. Freshly squeezed orange juice is delicious.

Beyond its situation in the centre to two steps from the Grevin museum, the hotel Chopin, which date from the 1840's to be able to find its balance between its architecture of yesteryear and the services and comfort that one expects of the best hotels. The room was lovely, bright and rather spacious (not so easy in Paris). The breakfast is varied and more : a machine to fresh orange juice available! A treat on a background of classical music… The staff is competent, efficient, friendly. In Short, that of happiness-the hotel is quiet, or the soothing ambience makes us completely forget the hustle and bustle of beautiful Paris!

We live here for three days, in the center of Paris, where it is convenient, out of the hotel is a row of shops street, go out to dine also convenient, to the various attractions also convenient, great!

Very quaint and clean hotel. Maybe too old on amenities for most, but I definitely will return here. At the end of Passage Joffroy with neat little shops, a Mark & Spencer's, and overall just a nice atmosphere. And to boot, a hotel cat who is do relaxed, she helps you to be.

I love this small and romantic hotel in the fabulous area in Paris near the Opéra. There is no luxury but comfort, sympathy and kindness. 2 Metro stops nearby and the centre of Paris can be reached by foot. Great value for money.

To start — I REALLY want to give this hotel 5 stars because it's history and charm is incredible. At the end I'll explain why I didn't… but if what you want to know is "should I stay here" the short answer is YES! The hotel is in one of the old train passages of Paris. This is to its advantage because it is off the main street yet you can hear the sounds of the city once you open the windows in the room. The passage this hotel is in (Passage Jouffroy) has some amazing shops (an antique bookstore, a higher-end convenience store we visited twice, a confectionery, and a couple restaurants among other things). The hotel itself is small (a few dozen rooms) but it's been open for well over 150 years and has never closed! The lobby consists of the front desk, a couch, and a piano — that's about all it has room for. It also has a chat noir (black cat) that lives here — you'll see the cat in various places throughout the public areas during your stay. I love the cat — so friendly and always willing to be pet regardless of the time of day. We were in room 310 — which consisted of a double bed and a single bed. The room was much larger than I expected — and was the largest room we had out of any hotel we stayed at in France. When you open the windows the sounds of the city are like in the movies — and so are the views of the rooftops. This will sound very American, but standing at the open windows my first thought was "the movie Ratatouille got it exactly right".

Gentlemen, terrific Dvoechka. Breakfast 8 Euro per person but who will be in Paris is in the hotel. You go out and in 30 seconds on the boulevard Houseman Starbucks even farther McDonald's and before them French cafes. The rooms are small but cozy. The plumbing is new. Cleaning every day. Very friendly staff. A cat named Klarinet meets you at the entrance. The elevator is small, the double sometimes have to wait, but this is a problem. Metro station in 3, 3 minutes walk on Houseman to the left. Opera in 12 minutes. What else do you need for the atmosphere?! If you want to luxury France please Shangrila and Marriott and a bunch of other hotels and if you want to feel the color-the hotel is in an indoor beautiful aisle between two streets, then the graces ask you to this hotel. Plus this is the cheapest room.

So charming! In addition placed at the end of the passage this hotel is very quiet. Jadore.

Lovely and cosy Parisian hotel, very quiet (unbelievable after you go through the noise outside on Blv Haussaman) and well kept. Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of french, cosy amenities in the passage where it is located (even a M&S food! ) and plenty of restaurants around. Good breakfast (french: no eggs and bacon, and that is a plus :-) ) you can squeeze your own juice from oranges, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, cereals and plenty of croissant.

Hotel Quiet o make a pedestrian walkway a lot of charm moderate price.

I have been in this beautiful hotel for the last 3 days. And I have to say that from the very first moment I felt very comfortable and fell in love with this house. Even when you get into the passage you are enchanted and feel like you have been injured in another time. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and although the hotel is very old, it is very well maintained, which unfortunately is not always the case in such old houses. The beds are very comfortable and you sleep in it excellently. The rooms are all furnished with a lot of love. The breakfast is also very tasty, a typical French breakfast, with croissant, baguette and freshly squeezed orange juice. I could still rave about it for hours now, but it would probably be a whole book about the hotel :)

Lovely service. Quaint old style retro hotel with genuine style. Simple but lovely. Highly recommend it for anyone seeking a personalised touch and affordable elegance. Highlights: I really liked the attic room I had with a view over a court with lots of windows (atmospheric), the hotel cat ("Clarinette") and that the receptionist kindly gave my push bike added protection by letting me stowe it in a secret mini courtyard on a railing not accessible to the public/potential thieves. All in all a great place. I also liked the receptionist offering up his own fan when I requested one during this heat wave, I declined as I felt that was going to make his night shift awful but luckily when I got to my room there had already been one brought in for me during the day, without my asking… Very thoughtful.

If you are looking for a hotel that looks as it was at the beginning of the 1900's this is your place. An old place with a lot of charme and very little comfort. But I prefer it to all others without the soul of which Paris is full.

Quality / price ratio is indisputable — delicious buffet breakfast — hotel is very well situated in Paris, very lively, but rooms are paradoxically very quiet.

Exceptional location in Paris while remaining affordable. The various receptionists were very nice. The common areas are charming, the atmosphere is romantic… Breakfast is tasty. The rooms face the courtyard and are therefore quiet. It is true that some would deserve a little refreshment. However we will gladly return to stay in this place.

Beautifull interior, great service, great location but the rooms wad just a bit smallet than expected.

Pros: location (right outside is Grand Boulevard metro station), staff was helpful and friendly, plenty of restaurants and bars all around, rooms are spacious and we're charming. Cons: no A/C so we were hot while sleeping. They give you a fan but it's not enough.

A cute, little hotel with small rooms with a bath and a breakfast room. We loved to come back in the hotel after a long sightseeing day in Paris. It's very quiet and clean. Such a good hotel! PS: one day two pigeons flew in our bath. That was the only problem we had. :D.

We spent several nights at the Hotel Chopin. Great location, fine reception and assistance by staff, funky 2-person elevator, pleasant room, very quiet. No street noises, no carousers. We loved the view of Paris roofs out our window. The breakfast room was a tad small when fully occupied. Breakfast was super, with freshly squeezed orange juice. The staff provisioning the buffet was fast and skillful. The other guests were quiet, respectable, mostly French.
