Julia, Dennis and one other guy at the concierge were very professional and friendly at the same time. Julia was knowledgeable and helpful. She have us a good recommendation for a delicious homemade Brasserie and directions to where we wanted to go. Dennis had my request for a private transfer to the airport all set. Housekeeping did a good job also.

The helpful service, including stowing my bags after departure, and the modern, well appointed room more than made up for the exterior work taking place on this hotel. The location is perfect for Gare du Nord and metro linksto the wider city. I would certainly stay again.

Outside appearances deceptive, however staff are welcoming and friendly. Rooms small but beds very comfortable and clean. Bathroom facilities are good. Breakfast and staff exceptional.

I stayed two nights at The Opera Paris, it is a quaint little hotel with very friendly staff that speak English as well as French. They welcomed us and could not do enough to assist us in our short stay.

The hotel was great, the service was fine and the people working there spoke really good English. I would book this hotel again except for the fact that they leave your room open after they cleaned it. I think that's not okay at all. We left all our personal belongings in the room and we would come back hours later, just to find out that the hotel didn't lock our door when they were done cleaning. Why would you even get a key if your room is going to be open anyway? I really liked the hotel and the place of the hotel, but this could be a big reason not to recommend this hotel to friends.

Pretty average hotel in terms of rooms/services. Good location close to Gare Du Nord and the Cadet metro station. Be prepared to lots of steep stairs.

For €148/night in Paris my sister says it isn't that bad. Perhaps. The A. C. Works and housekeeping has done an exceptional job of keeping the room neat and clean and restocking the shower gel. Except for the weird black stuff in the shower… The entire facade of the hotel is undergoing renovation. A renovation that should have been done 2 months ago. So every morning around 8am we awake to the workers right outside our window. Not figuratively, LITERALLY. This morning I opened the blinds to a young man kneeling on the scaffolding right in front of me. The first morning here, at 9am NO hot water. Apparently management decided that 9am was the perfect time to drain the hot water and redo the system with no warning the evening before. And the place is old and cramped. Ok. It's Paris — everything is old and cramped. But I hope the exterior renovation is phase one of a much needed overall update. Saving grace, the hotel is close to the Pink Metro Line and not too far from Sacre Cour.

Overall a cute little hotel however the lift couldn't fit more than two average sized people. It is a very clean establishment surrounded by lots of shops so the location is good just the lift is less than ideal.

It's a very old hotel, that needs some improvements. Rooms quite small. The towels need a change urgently. Too much use. Attendance is perfect.

Good value for money considering location. Clean and tidy. Staff at front desk seem friendly and happy to help. The elevator, however, is quirky and may prove troublesome should you need to utilise. Prepare to be patient as it as it is not fast and will only fit one adult and a large suitcase at a time. Getting off on the top floor with a large suitcase proved to be awkward.

Staff friendly and very friendly… very clean room, good bedding but poorly soundproof, bathroom correct, bathtub with shower but impossible to take a shower without flooding the bathroom. No heating in the bathroom, radiator present but not working. Breakfast room very small and… in the Cellar! Everything that has been served at breakfast is industrial… damage… high price for this level of service.

Comfortable location, 2 meter a few minutes walk away, small but clean rooms, courteous and helpful staff, we were kept luggage after checkout without any problems, hearty breakfast… very positive experience!

A very friendly hotel with a very good service. It has a very full breakfast buffet. It is located in a good area, comfortable to visit Paris. It has a nearby street where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. Highly recommended.

The hotel is well located with a bus stop right outside the hotel that leaves you at the Louvre and NotreDame, as well as in the Eiffel tower, Champs Elisseos, place de la Concorde all in a matter of 15-20 minutes. You can walk to the Sacred Heart of from the hotel which is 10min walk away and the Gare du Nord train station, which is directly connected to the Airport CDG 10 min walk from the hotel. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The beds very comfortable and there is a small fridge. The bathroom was a little icy and there was no glass in the tub. The breakfast was little varied. The attention at reception was extraordinary, especially by miss blonde in the mornings who spoke very good English and was very friendly.

For the next stays in Paris this will be Plaza Opéra. Great location for a holiday in Paris. »

Friendly staff that speak both English and French and convenient location. Unfortunately for the first 3 days the Wi-Fi was out and there was no running water in all of the hotel during our 3rd day… there is also a very limited amount of outlets in the room considering it is for 3 people. We were disappointed there was no type of compensation for these inconveniences. Especially for a hotel over $100 a night.

The hotel is nice and is well located but the staff leaves much to be desired. Some employees are rude with the guests.

We had such a fantastic stay! The hotel was easy to get to from the train station, and perfectly placed to get us to the things we wanted to do throughout Paris. The staff is so welcoming and kind. They let us check-in as soon as we arrived, recommended ways to see the city, and even had power adapters on hand. We hope to stay here every time we are in Paris!

We loved the location of the hotel, a short distance from the metro and surrounded by restaurants, pharmacy and supermarket. The staff was very attentive and nice. It was all very clean.

Clean room, lovely bathroom, great view of the eiffel tower, comfortable bed. Only issues are that breakfast is served in a tiny room in the basement and that the rooms are not well sound insulated. However, for the money, it was fantastic and would definitely stay here again (maybe without breakfast though).

Decent hotel with quite good size rooms given the relative size of the hotel. The shower in the bathroom could have used a curtain or some kind of cover to stop water going everywhere. The left luggage area is literally a cupboard, very small so not advisable to use if you have anything fragile.

A great location, just outside the very centre of Paris. The room was very well appointed if not the most roomy. The facilities and service attended to our needs very well. We preferred to explore and experience the food and drink that was on offer locally, so didn't take advantage of the dining facilities. We had booked a room with the view and a balcony. The weather certainly helped make the most of this and it was well worth the little extra.

Hotel was nice but I would class it as a budget hotel. It was a bit dated and the walls were thin so could hear the neighbours in the surrounding rooms. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Location was good.

Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… I stayed with a friend at the Hotel and we had a very pleasurable experience. The hotel was very central, the staff was very helpful and the rooms were very clean! If I had to mention one drawback was that the Wi-Fi was very slow and sometimes it did not work, however, other than that we really enjoyed our stay and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Paris. I would definitely be back if I go back to France!

Good hotel, very convenient location, close to all attractions, nice, quiet area. Hearty breakfast, but not a very large choice. In general, everything was pleasant, if possible, we will stop at you again. A little scared the fire alarm, which began to work late at night.

I came from Sri Lanka with my wife and the daughter (2 & 1/2 years). Room, lift and the bathroom were extra small (smallest ever seen in a *** hotel). Thought we got a bad choice by our travel agent. But we realized it is located in a great place. Easy quick access to variety of restaurants, bars, super markets and even laundry. Metro station (cadet) is walking distance. And most tourists attractions are just € 10-15 taxi rides away. Most importantly we experienced a wonderful service. Specially the receptionist Mr. Beker was great. Even the cleaning staff and kitchen staff were very helpful. Was no much variety for breakfast but we truly enjoyed. Whole package is 'value for money'. Good choice for people who, will spend most of the time going out.

Fantastic hotel for the price. Staff were outstanding and helpful. Location is perfectly placed outside the hustle and bustle of paris. Easily walking distance to most tour meeting places and surrounded by good restaurants. Recommended highly.

I have stayed here the past 3 nights and I have to say that it has been Amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful and take the time to help you in anyway possible. Even when I was trying to speak short phrases in french they were very undertstanding and patient. The rooms are very clean and it was the most enjoyable stay. The breakfast was simply the best and the lady in the breakfast room just lovely! It was such a nice stay and coming all the way from Australia it has made our trip so much more pleasant. Thank you to lovely property! One day I will be back for sure! Merci Boo koo.

Very good reception during my visit. Personal at the top and always smiling especially women. I highly recommend.

We stayed in a triple room (a large bed and a "real" bed one person). The room and the bathroom were spacious, considering we are in Paris, and quite clean. Only the bathroom door deserves a little paint shot. The hotel is close to a bus stop and many bistros and restaurants. Our room located on the third floor (with lift) overlooked the street but we were not disturbed by the noise. The reception and the staff were friendly, the breakfast correct (coffee a bit light and room pretty skimpy in the basement).

My experience was positive without a doubt. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Location walking distance to bus and motropolitana is enviable. Only downside: breakfast for nothing varies and no salty things.

The girl at the desk was very friendly and helpful (most speak very good Italian! ) The room was great, spacious and bright.

We spent three very good nights here. Yes, the room was small, but the hotel is right near the Opera House and very centrally located. We were able to walk to the Louvre and Notre Dame and we are both 70 years old. Very helpful staff.

The staffs were very friendly and respectful. I was happy to be surrounded with good company. I have to say that the room I stayed in, room no. 26 was quite small. However, I enjoyed my stay. :)

Rooms are way too small. The staff are nice and try hard to make your stay avgood one but you couldn't swing a mouse let alone a cat.

Very good service and attention to the family, they treated us in Spanish, and we resolved a problem with the collection vehicle. For which I am grateful, and I think of course in the case of back to Paris to return to this hotel, which meets the necessary requirements for a visit to this beautiful city.

The superior double room we were given was more than sufficient, the bathroom, the best thing about all the hot in those romantic nights with the view of the Eiffel Tower taking a bath. We chose the pack room and breakfast and although the dining room is somewhat small, the breakfast was varied and very good, with cereals, plenty of pastries, fresh bread, boiled eggs, fruit and yogurt. In terms of the cleaning, everything was clean and made daily. The situation of the hotel is good to go to all the tourist sites of Paris, because you can easily go walking, if you like to walk, to the museum of the Louvre or Sacre Coeur, the Opera, Galleries Lafayette, you have a bus stop in front of the hotel that drops you at the Eiffel Tower, also two metro stops nearby that communicate seamlessly with most of the tourist sites or to go to the Latin quarter. As we like to walk for four days we were recommended, in the hotel, catch a bonus of 10 tickets that allow you to take the metro or bus and not take the cards of PARIS VISIT to save 30 euros! All the people of the hotel was very professional, friendly and also spoke English! We don't have a doubt recommend this hotel.

We had a perfect stay in this nice hotel. Well situated to explore Paris and near Sacre Coeur. Staff was very friendly abd helped us with maps and directions. Breakfast was fine as well. Room was also good, particularly as we were upgraded. Lovely view of the Eiffeltower in the distance! We have stayed in Paris several times, but this hotel was one of the best we have stayed at — good price/quality. Will stay again! Thank you for your attention and making this a great stay.

We spent a few nights there in June 2011. The hotel was ok for the price we paid: about €100 per night for a double. Fairly central location as well.

It is a small hotel and nice. Well-located. Very friendly employees and the owner. Nice breakfast. If I recommend it for couples because the rooms are small.
