Excellent experience, a very relaxing night in the heart of Paris.

From the pics I see now it looks like this place has improved a lot. We went in 2013 and it was undergoing construction which we weren’t told when we booked. There were men walking by our windows on the scaffolding so zero privacy. Also the bathroom was ridiculously tiny like an airplane one! The toilet was practically in the shower, no division, also the bathroom door wouldn’t close. It was very hot when we went and the a/c was broken! We made them change our room. Staff wasn’t very nice. When I got robbed of all my money & phone by a pickpocket in the metro, the manager’s comment was “Well why were you carrying everything with you? ” Umm maybe if you had a working safe in the room I wouldn’t have! Just rude. Only good thing really was the location.

Great location, central enough at a decent price. Rooms are not that big, but they make the job. Average continental breakfast.

Money well spent. The point is fantastic surrounded by bar brasserie pubs and confectioneries. Quiet area. It also has a free gym. Clean Care.

Booked in for a one night stay in rooms on the 6th floor, and was delighted to find a thoroughly modern and spotlessly clean (and I mean flawlessly) recently renovated room. Even with the usual background ambience Paris provides, I could barely hear a thing as I drifted off on a massive, comfy bed. Wi-Fi is available free of charge and the shower was a fantastic high pressure scalding hot affair as well. The staff are always happy to help and even put up with my execrable attempts at speaking French too! More than happy to stay again!

The location is excellent.
Very central.
Near the metro and to walk out to any tourist destination.
The room is small but very comfortable.
The bathroom was very clean.
The receptionist very polite and willing.

I have never reviewed a single business on Google, but the absolutely disgusting business practices of this hotel have compelled me to do so. If I could, I would rate them with zero stars. My friends and I have tried to book hotel rooms at this hotel numerous times (with a total of 5 different credit cards among the three of us) and each and every one of our cards has been rejected due to being "invalid. " How's that possible you ask? Well, the issue seems to be the fact that this hotel doesn't want to allow people to book rooms with the free cancelation option, and instead wants to force guests to pay for stay upfront. Guess what: don't advertise yourselves as a hotel with free cancelation in that case! Utterly despicable. Paris is already one of the most popular cities in the world for tourists so the chances of this hotel not being fully booked in the middle of summer are next to zero. How greedy do you need to be as a business to pretend that you've got flexible booking options and then try to be sly and force guests into paying for rooms upfront? I have NEVER paid for a hotel room upfront, nor do I plan to begin that practice now.

Very dirty, receptionist very unfriendly, very old and disgusting bathrooms.

The hotel is well placed, but under construction during my visit, which spoils its possible charm. The room is ok, but impossible to have Wi-Fi from the 4th floor… It's a bit borderline, especially for a business trip. I had to take 10 minutes to get hot water, I hope it was because of the work. Another downside, the noise of the street, a little too present, even with the window closed. PS: what is the use of a mini bar if it is empty? Mystery.

Overall a nice hotel, but personally I booked a room for 'two' and got a regular single room.
The hotel is cozy, pleasant, quiet.
Located away from the big roads. Nearby there is a subway, shops.

Nice result of the renovation of the rooms. Very modern and comfortable. Avoid breakfast, not up to scratch.

Stay between girls excellent for the price, very nice clean room, well located hotel to go for a walk and party. We are delighted if we go back to Paris we will go back on.

Staff were really friendly. I stayed with my family twice, and in both cases I must say we got comfortable rooms. One of them was quite small, but it wasn't that bad. On the second time we got a bigger room and we got a good rest. We didn't hear any noice at night even if there are a lot of bars around. The location of this hotel is really good, you have two lines 6 minutes walking from the hotel. This hotel would be perfect, but the old state of the building, takes some points from it. Still I give 4 stars 'cause I really enjoy my stay in there.

Bad Cleaning! Structure for nothing modern and poorly maintained. Bathrooms in very poor condition. The rooms are completely different from the photos posted on the hotel website!

Perfect place… To meet Paris. Near to everywhere … at this place… you don't need a taxi to enjoy Paris.

Central location, 15 min walk from Gare d'Est, modernized rooms, pleasant stay.

Not bad and well placed, just the very small sink, beware if shower at 10pm then in cold water and not all chains, pity for a three star. But nice free snack.

Hotel was correct. We didn't tried the breakfast, so no feedback on that. They're currently doing some renovation works so there is quite some noice in the hotel during the day.

Hotel was very old and they would not upgrade us to a renovated room. Rooms at clean but the age of the hotel is very evident. I give two stars instead of one because of the location. Walking distance to Montmartre and other great sightseeing areas.

Just checked in and the hotel is nothing like what they say online. Don't book this hotel extremely outdated There is garbage in the bin The toilet is stined all yellow Wood pannel all over the room Feels more like a hostel and not a 3 star hotel.

Staff have been great, very wellcoming. Have been very helpful in places too see and the best way too get around. The room is big, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Situated very central. Would certainly book the hotel again.

We loved it here! Staff were lovely, room was very nice with an amazing view, situated in a great place, we would stay here again. They even helped us print off our boarding passes when it was time to go. Thank you!

I stayed there in summer with the family for 1 night. It was very hot and AC wasn't working. We complained to the reception and after a couple of hours of wait hotel maintenance guy showed up, grumpy, tried to fix it and could not. We were given a very noisy fan instead, and could not sleep most of the night. Breakfast was below average, coffee tasted burned, buns stale, not worth the price. The hotel overall feels and smells quite dated. Yes, it is cheap and I realize it isn't in the nicest area of Paris, but I'd say avoid it and get some decent rest elsewhere.

I will not waste time in fancy descriptions and just say — STAY AWAY, THIS HOTEL IS BED BUG INFESTED (room 45). After 3 nights spend at a room that looked nice and more spacious than a typical french hotel room, all the thoughts that I have chosen a good deal in Paris has been wiped out. After the first night, strange bumps started appearing on my hands. By next day, I was covered all over in red itchy bumps. I was forced to look for a different hotel, badly bitten all over my body, and with hotel staff that just didn't care, even when presented with a photo of a bad bug enjoying itself on my bedsheets. I wish I can recommend it to anyone that looks for a good deal at a decent price, but I cannot tell anyone to turn themselves into a nightly meal of ferocious bugs even if it is for free. Reading previous posts, turns out I am not the the bed bugs victim. Please be aware, since the hotel doesn't seem to give a damn about the problem, and I am pretty sure somebody else is already "enjoying" the bugs in my room.

Value for money at heart of Paris.

For what are the hotels in Paris (expensive, old, and dwarves), this hotel is one of the best I've ever been to. Quite central, rooms very spacious and clean, bathrooms with amenités and dryer, breakfast buffet quite acceptable (but don't expect scrambled eggs) and a pretty decent priced. The attentive staff and agrdable.

Room's very clean, well equipped and even has bath tub i've never seen before in tourist hotels. Well communicated, organized services. Very freindly staff members! But, Little bit far from metro.

Good location close o metro stations and some good local food. Good hearty breakfast with great coffees.

Great value, Central, 20 min walk to the Louvre, quiet day and night.

We stayed 6 nights in a double room from 4, there are at least two different, ours was spacious and livable.
Breakfast with sweet and salty dishes quality average.
They also have 2 computers in the lobby for guest use and a gym but didn't use.

It's OK here. Very well located. Shower works well, room very clean, has all the amenities it advertises. Bed on the hard side, bit characterless and the room lighting is either too high or too low, but is ok if got at a good price.

I liked the concept and location.
