I love this gem of a hotel. We stayed for a girls weekend in June — centrally located, lovely rooms, comfortable beds, friendly and accommodating staff.

With very good impression at the first second with efficient service and nice room, facilities.

Great location, friendly staff, clean and authentic Parisian atmosphere.

Great room with knowledgeable staff. Beds — firm and comfortable. Pillows are feather and make for a happy head. Room — good condition, clean with good AC system. Bedding was soft and clean. (You take a really quick, and quirky elevator up to your floor, it was quite amusing) Bathroom — good size, only commet was no shower. Had I asked for one we could have switched rooms. Few signs of wear / tired but nothing insulting. Towels were good. Amenities — complimentary soft drinks (great selection) with some great tea and standard coffee capsules. Water included as well. Staff — suggested and booked a local restaurant for dinner which ended up being incredible. Helpful via email commu prior to stay. Negatives — strangely the bar was closed at 9pm, which was a shame as looks pretty cool. Check-in was a little slow as they scan both a passport and credit card. Definitely a good stay. (Room reviewed was a junior suit)

Lovely deco style hotel complete with small cage lift (just like in the movies). We loved the leopard spot stair carpet. The location is near the grand Palace and within walking distance of the city centre through the parks. We didn't have breakfasts there as there are some good cafes near by. The staff were polite and only helpful when approached which we felt was perfect. A tiny tad shabby but definitely genuine French chic. Ideal for romantic break.

Had a very pleasant stay here. Breakfast, if you opt for it, is uncomplicated but sufficient & service is friendly and relaxed. It's served in the bar, which is lushly upholstered in red velvet. The elevator is small but very cool & welcome when you've got suitcases to carry. Entryway is beautiful. My room was comfortable, euro pillows good, and stylishly decorated with owls. The bed is two smaller beds pushed together and sheeted as one bed — you can feel the seam of the mattresses, but it didn't really bother me. I didn't pay extra for a room facing the street, so instead I got a view of an airshaft type space between the buildings, which wasn't really beautiful and is home to some pigeons, but it was fine. I didn't come to Paris to look out the window from my hotel room anyway! Front desk staff were kind and genuinely helpful, and eagerly jumped in with English in moments where my French faltered. I would come back.

This hotel so central. It is led by a very nice couple. Fresh-cloth room unique. 100% recommended. US very price. Was always heir to stay again.

Nice location but not quite the luxury suggested. Enjoyable stay and a good receptionist but the whole place felt a little jaded. The closure of the bar looked a little ominous. Being charged full price for a child's breakfast was also a little mean.

We stayed here in February. Lovely hotel and great room, staff very friendly and this hotel is very central close to everything. Walking distance of around 20 mins to most things. Eiffel tower, louvre, champs elyesse…

I stayed at Mathis on my honeymoon… Great staff, great location, beautiful room, I loved it!

Nice room, lacking a few basic elements. No atand up shower only a hand held one and no full length mirror. Bathroom lighting was a little steange.

Was not impressed with this hotel. The manager of the bar, Benjamin, was rude and most unaccommodating. Whatever happened to customer service? The staff here are running their own game, never mind the clients! Staff training sessions on how to behave around people much needed!

Hotel is very small, but very tasty, tiny staircases and small elevators, good location, just behind the Champs-Elysees, where is very convenient, staff are quite friendly.

This boudoir is a unique setting for meeting the night birds…

I was there in July and like the hotel, a nice place do stay in Paris. It's next to Avenue des Champs Elysées, Palais Elysées and the Luxor square. It's easy to go to Louvre by foot from there and there's a lot of bistrôs in the neighborhood. The apartment is cozy, but the shower did not work and we had to use the bath. The breakfast is a french service, a litte bit strange. The crew was very nice.
