The room we stayed in was VERY small. The bathroom had been updated but it was very small as well. The staff was very friendly. The location was fantastic! It was about 2 blocks away from the metro. To be honest we didn't spend a lot of time in the room. Way too much to see!

A very welcoming staff. A slightly old hotel but a modern shower. Good bedding. It's not very well insulated on the hallway side but the people were quiet. A small problem with an alarm alarm without fire (a problem with a shower or whatever).
I'm 6'8" tall and I couldn't sit face down on the toilet so the wall was so close but the shower was great and I prefer that.

Very disappointed to see the actual condition isn’t good euough as it says on the website, specaiily with unchecked the air condition in room which isn’t not working at all during the stay. Informed the staff in the reception either if the air condition can be fixed by someone or exchange to another better room for us to stay comfortable? Unfortunately the answer is “sorry I cannot help at all, only you can make complain to the manger if I want “ because we had late check in, so there is no time for us to find another hotel in the night, plus the weather was quite humid as well, so We can only leave the windows open to get bit air circulation which bring lots of noise from outside even don’t feel private &safety. Have to say “ really had a sleepless night! First time visit Paris, lovely place but shame for the stay! Don’t think would book again and tell friends be aware.

I'm very happy I stayed in this hotel. Customer service is great so as location. Obviously, it's not perfect but the location was amazing.

This hotel with it's excellent location ticks all the boxes for want I want, and the price is right too. It's more of a 3-star hotel than 2. My single room was comfortable and had everything I needed. The staff were excellent and very helpful. It was hot and muggy when I arrived and they made sure I had a room with air conditioning. I'm coming back again in a few months time!

To be a 2 star is a good hotel I recommend it although I would have preferred a room with a better view my was the N 116.

The Prince Albert Louvre is a wonderful hotel for its price. The rooms are very clean and have a wonderful Paris charm. The hotels location is excellent. It is only a few minutes walk away from the Louvre and 2 minute walk from the metro.

The location of the hotel is great! Just nearby the Tuileries, Place Vendome, Louvre. The staff is very kind and helpful and you feel at home by their warm reception. The rooms are a bit outdated but they are clean and that is the most important for me. I had a great time!

Do not stay here. My husband and I booked the room directly through their website at a rate of $89 per night. Closer to our travel time, I noticed that I had booked a room for one person instead of two so I reached out to the hotel and was told that they could give me a double room at a rate of 140 euros per night which, according to the person that helped me via phone, would have been a 20 euro difference per night. We arrived at the hotel and I am told that the room was never paid for and we owed 216 euros. I went upstairs to retrieve the card to pay and was then told my total would be well over 400 euros but I could check with the other attendant in the morning. When I went upstairs to tell my husband (after I told the attendant we would be staying elsewhere) we found an alternate hotel which is fabulous for a cheaper price and packed up to leave. The attendant then told us we would have to pay for the first night which we did not even use. He then coerced us into paying it by threatening to call the police. When we arrived at our new hotel and told the concierge what had occurred he was appalled and confused as to why that had even happened. I will continue to post this review on every single site available until the hotel resolves this as it is the worst display of customer service I have EVER seen.

Our room was a bit old but big enough for two and bathroom was very modern and clean. The location is perfect, Restaurants, Shops and Metro are within 2-5 minutes walking.

Small room but bathroom at the top!

Staffs are kind. The place is very good. Near the Louvre museum, metro station, and very delicious croissant shop which is in Rue Saint Honore, diagonally oposite of Carrefour.

It provided the typical local hotel charm and feeling. The walls were thin and the mattress thinner. Next time I will pay more for a better room at a larger hotel.

The only positive about his hotel is the location. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. The room we were placed in was disgustingly dirty with visible dirt stains on the bed’s fabric head and footboards, visible stains all over the carpet (which the hotel front desk attendant tried to claim was the natural color of the carpet — nasty), the stained walls/wall paper, and torn up and dirt spotted mattress. Not to mention the bed comforter was tagged and distressed. We had to strongly advocate for a new room which we were denied on our first day (they said they were full because of PFW), told to ask the next morning, and then given an attitude about it the next morning when we reminded them of the request. We finally got a new room after 2:00pm the following day which was also our last day. The room was slightly better, cleaner. But still, not worth the full price they charged us. The 8 euro per person breakfast is a complete rip off and should be included with the exorbitant room price. They didn’t even offer a discount for our inconvenience or the disgusting conditions they placed us in — and yes, we took plenty of photos and showed them to the staff. This place should be shut down.

I would definitely go back, it has the perfect location.

Polite, helpful, caring and very likeable staff.

I stayed in room 248 for five nights. But the carpet on the floor smelled disgusting. I had to take medicine for headache every morning. The windows were open every day when I came in at night. Still, they did not change the room. They need to replace the carpet in room 248. Most of the employees were kind. Breakfast was calculated at the last day of check-out. Breakfast bread was delicious, but others were usually normal. If you choose this hotel, check the smell of the carpet. The hotel was small because it was a single. Especially the shower was too small. And there was no elevator. But everything is okay. If you don't smell disgusting! The best thing about this hotel is that it has a good location. It takes about 3 minutes from the subway station to the hotel. And I walked all nearby art museums for 4 days. It takes just 10 minutes to walk to Louvre, Orsay, and Grand & Petit Palace. It is five minutes ' walk to Orangerie Museum. You can walk to the Pompidou Center, the Picasso Museum, and the Rodin Gallery in half an hour. And I have one thing to thank you for. I had to leave for the airport at about 4 a. M. On the last day. By the way, a hotel clerk booked a cheap taxi for me. So I could travel comfortably to the airport and save money. Thank you.

Very well placed but shabby hotel.

Room no bigger than a wardrobe, called Deluxe Room (which was agreed upon). Very bad experience. Especially not to advise and not in connection with the presentation on the site. Very disappointed.

Amazing and warm reception by the hotel staff! The hotel is situated in the very heart of Paris next to the Tuileries gardens. The rooms are nicely decorated and very clean and the great price/quality ratio is incredible for Paris. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting Paris looking for a great experience! :)

Structure of the building something old, with very good attention, in French and English.

A lovely little hotel with a fabulous location close to many of Paris's landmarks. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms were quaint but comfortable and clean. The ensuite bathroom was clean and functional with lots of cupboard space and great water pressure. The bed was comfortable and the linen clean although the blankets could do with an extra clean. Optional breakfast was adequate and we took advantage of it on a few days. Overall a very pleasant hotel that was recommended to us by family and we also have no hesitation in recommending.

Great location for restaurants etc. Friendly and helpful staff. Be careful not to ripped off for not knowing where to buy your metro tickets and being fined €50 like we were — what a scam!

This was our second stay in two years at this hotel. Improvement in Wi-Fi since our previous stay. Appreciated availability of small refrigerator in the room. Pleased to have good air conditioning during our stay. Staff extremely friendly and helpful with directions and assistance with arranging taxi to airport and making dinner reservations for us.

The humidity of that room and the smell so strong made us sick. We left on the second day and early, they must give me back that money, surely they rented the room. Also there is no security, they robbed another guest. And according to the manager everything was fine. I have witnessed another room of the humidity and the smell that was in my room. The photos speak for themselves. As far I'am concerned this is scam … Ripped off. Good location but real bad hotel and very rude manager.

From check-in to check-out the people that I dealt with were just wonderful. They answered all my questions, made suggestions and they never seemed like I was bothering them. The breakfast was great fresh breads and pastries. The hotel was very clean. The only thing that I have to complain? about is the lighting. The lighting in the bathroom or bedroom was too dim for putting on your makeup. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely go back. Mourad and Hajer (I think that is how you spell it) were just super.

I liked the smile and the welcome at all the staff, the quietness of the room (I gave on the courtyard), the cleanliness of it and the location of the hotel which is located in a quiet street but 5 minutes from the Louvre, 10 minutes from the opera, and 15mn from the Champs Elysees. If I had a downside to say it is the smallness of the breakfast room, breakfast served buffet and that is for €8, copious. I would go back without problems.

It is a small hotel with small rooms and not really spotless, but it is convenient because it is in the city center and a 5 minute walk to the Metro. The staff is very friendly.

An absolutely charming and unique hotel in a prime location near The Louvre. The staff was great and made the stay very enjoyable. This hotel is 'Pure Paris'. Rooms were clean and comfortable. If you are looking for the total Paris experience, then I can recommend this hotel wholeheartedly. Will certainly stay here if we make it back to Paris.

This is an older hotel but they are renovating room by room. Our room was a bit dated but has a brand new modern bathroom. Not sure why another writer says it was very far from attractions. I was there with a broken ankle and crutches and walk (hobbled) to many attraction such as the tuleries, louvre, and several museums and galleries. It's a short walk to 2 metro stations and 2 blocks from major bus routes; under 10 min to the river and bridges. Many great restaurants and cafes just around the corner. The included breakfast is what you might expect from a modest european hotel — very simple, but adequate. Staff were friendly and helpful with direction. This is by no means a 5* but location great and room sufficiently comfortable — good value for your $. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel itself is not bad although it is VERY far from all of the tourist attractions. What concerns me the most is the fact that after I paid and checked-out of the hotel, they processed a payment for EUR119.84, claiming that it was an outstanding telephone bill. I used the phone to dial Canada but I ALWAYS used my calling card. I have been in contact with the manager, and although she admits that they were having issues with their computer system, she has done nothing to rectify the situation, least of all credit my credit card. As far as I am concerned, this is a scam, so if you stay at this hotel, know that you are at risk of being ripped off.
