Hotel staff were very helpful. We also appreciated the convenient location of the hotel to the train station and metro. It was hot in Paris during our stay, and we were grateful for the in-room air conditioning. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very well located near the Raspail Metro station. For the price it is good. The breakfast was good but no more. Not very well insulated. The staff is okay not very talkant but OK. The rooms are small but functional.

Could use some renovation inside the rooms but overall a very good place to sleep. Very well located in a nice neighborhood. We did not try the breakfast. Will definitely come back again.

It's dirty, dusty, poorly insulated with stains on the carpet.
When one complains to the management, an old blond square harpie, very dry, obnoxious, without any smile, explains you with her haughty look that she can not do anything about it.
I complain to the staff who are being argued in front of the customers, by this kind of tyrant of the years 50 of which it is not the trade.

Ok this hotel was a mixed bag for me, it was very close to the metro, supermarkets, restaurants, a tea house and one of the stops for the open tour bus company was right outside. The hotel itself was a bit of a let down, other than very friendly staff I was disappointed. The room and bathroom was tiny, the safe did not work, the mini fridge was understocked and overpriced, there was no bar or resturant. Everything was very cramped. In need of a bit of a facelift. I will say the room was very clean, the housekeeper did a fantastic job.

Handily located near several metro stations, the hotel has been a good home base for venturing out into the tourist destinations of Paris. The hotel lacks certain niceties, but has all of the basics. The internet connection is rather poor though so be prepared to have to use your mobile plan data for anything more intensive than an email checkup.

Nice hotel for a fair cost. Nice breakfast, clean rooms and Half a block form Metro Raspail — if you choose it is also easy walking every where. Restaurants and grocery shops also near by. Staff are friendly and helpful — even if you speak little French.

Hotel with rooms strictly functional to the stay of a few nights. It is still favored by a really practical location, with Metro, public bus and tourist bus easily accessible. Overall nice.

Stay of 2 nights, reserved with as the only specification the request of a non smoking room. On arrival a little welcoming Watchman tells us our room which reeks of tobacco (despite window open in the middle of winter…). Finally room if you can tell because when you open the door of the room it types in the bed so the room is small! So I ask to be changed room because of the smell of tobacco, impossible to say for the same evening. The watchman explaining to me that it is not his fault if the customers smoke in the rooms. They changed us to room the next day. Then, when I ask for a commercial gesture for the inconvenience, no negotiation possible. Finally, at 7:30 am I order and pay a breakfast in the room for my companion, I detail the contents to the hostess (Sarah) and precise the desired time. She confirms me and cashes the order. Once the time comes my companion is denied the delivery of the breakfast because supposedly not ordered by phone before 10:00… Despite the justifications of an order made at 7.30 am by my care, the hostess does not want to know anything. Staff really unpleasant.
Hygiene and cleanliness to note that in the 2nd room the sheets were stained…

The major one is Gare Montparnasse which is 10 minutes walking distance. The room I stayed in is average. As long as I have a bed and a shower to use. The space is large enough for my needs. Perhaps big enough for a couple. Maid service is good. My only dislike is you are required to turn in your key to the front desk whenever you leave for the day. Upon returning you ask for your room key back but they won't ask for your identification to show that you are that very guest. It is a huge concern for security and protection of my belongings. Any person can say a room number and will be given control of your valuables. That is very very poor. I don't care if I am inconvenienced by being asked for an ID. It is better to be safe than sorry. I was tempted to leave and go to anothet hotel but everywhere was booked and pricier at that point. Thankfully I have locks for my luggage and carried my passport with me which I can not afford to get stolen. Hotel Istria staff: have a better security policy. All hotels allow their guest to keep their room keys with them the entire stay. Your methods are backwards and strange.

Enchanting historic hotel in very quite place. Familiar and well located. Rooms are small but with everything you need. Service is very helpful. Room service is very nice. Prices are right.

Positive: Affordable prices at the last minute, minibar for your drinks, shampoos in the form of practical tube
Negative: Bathroom not at all in the picture of what was depicted in photos (it is very small and water can flow in the room if one does not pay enough attention), the double bed was two single bed glued together so one felt the hollow between the two Li TS, the minibar with cans at 3 € 50 and water at 1 € 50 (33CL), the host who calls 11:47 to free the room at midday when we would have respected the schedule (requested in a very unpleasant way), the rooms are said soundproof lets pass the Sounds of doors and voices outside the room.
Conclusion: First and last time I reserve at home.

Nice modern hotel. Rooms are a good size for Paris and quiet. Air conditioning works well in Paris summer heat. Great location in a good part of the city and right next to a Metro station. Room safe was impossible to get to. Some of the fixtures didn't work or were a little past their best. Reception staff changes often. Anyone could ask for your room key when you are not there.

It has very good location, close to 50 meters underground. It is RASPAIL, and directly takes you to the island of la Cite or the Tower Eiffel. The room small but in very good condition, and the bathroom clean. They changed towels every day. Room very quiet and staff very pleasant. I recommend it.

On the plus side: good location and nice room.
On the other hand, the room of the ground floor is not well insulated, despite the double door, because you hear the conversations of the entrance hall.
Dirty carpet, curtain dangling, air freshener smell very unpleasant. In the bathroom, very narrow, one small light, the others being grilled; the joints of the wall tiles are blackened mold… the whole gives the impression of neglected.

The room and the bathroom are tiny. The pictures are misleading, bedding faded, off wallpaper, bathroom dirty. The TV did not work. The luggage scattered in the lobby, so in the absence of the person of the staff, they remain unattended.

First time we stayed there, we thought it was OK. The location is comfortable (right next to Metro Raspail), and the room we got, although small, was fine for a few days. The second time, we absolutely hated it. The room we got was even smaller than the one before. Not only was it very dark, but the bathroom was tiny, and the shower had a shower curtain that absolutely stank of dampness, it was disgusting to shower in it. Not staying there again.

Designed for those staying in Paris only for tourism and does not need a room of five thousand square meters. X we were a magical holiday.

The hotel is very good at Montparnasse. The Metro is 150 m.
The rooms are tiny. Actually it is a franz. Bed (1, 58m * 2, 0 m) and a mini bathroom with bathtub without curtain. As usual in Paris prices rose over and stagger up to €150 / day draws ever closer Saturday. Three stars are not more.
There are much cheaper hotels which are also OK in the direct neighbourhood.

My first time in Paris. I was a little hesitant about the choice of the hotel even because of the reviews. But luckily it was the right choice. Two nights spent in this hotel. Clean and spacious room the right. Friendly staff. Convenient location, very close to the metro station RASPAIL and on foot you reach Anke the entrance to the catacombs of Paris X who was interested.
Even in the evening you can walk and eat in one of the many locals that are nearby.
In line D air is about 600mt from the Eiffel Tower.

Excellent hotel with a good price and very close to Metro station (Raspail) giving a quick access to two major metro lines 4&6. The room is cozy but super clean and quiet with air conditioning and has everything you need for a visit. The personnel are very friendly and multilingual.

It has a very good location, the metro cerano (2 steps), RASPAIL, and takes you directly to the island of the Cite, or the Eiffel tower. The room is small but in very good condition, and the bathroom clean. They changed the towels every day. Room very quiet and staff very pleasant. What I recommend.

The location of this hotel is excellent with the metro just around the corner and numerous restaurants and cafe's within walking distance along with the Luxembourg Gardens and other sights. The staff are very helpful and friendly and there is always someone on reception 24 hours a day which I found very convenient because we could leave our room key with them instead of having to mind it when we were out and about. The rooms are very clean and cosy and the showers (although a bit small) are gorgeous with around the clock warm water. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again when we go back to Paris. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Perfect location grate room nice service.

This is by far was the worst experience I have ever had. The Hotel was terrible, They had BED BUGS, which is an indication of a very very dirty environment and very poor hygiene. I was sleeping and suddenly we found that we are covered in bugs which was horrifying. We called the reception to advise them of the problem, they said we are aware of the situation. What?. I was shocked. They placed us in another room, however they did not offer us a refund or even a discount for the stay. Keep away from this hotel, Horrible Horrible.
