Nothing good to say. We had to stay there because of an emergency in París. Better pay an Hostel.

Hotel well located but this is the only positive. Wc and shower on the pallier, little hygiene. Dirty sheets. Very noisy. The bunk beds creak at the slightest micro movement. Bad experience.

The only good thing is the well-location. The staff is ok. BUT the hotel is awful. There's no fan, no ventilation, there is only an aconditionate air and IT DOESN'T WORK. The toilet is shared and the shower supposed not to be but IT IS, some strangers were having a shower in our "private" shower. We are 5 and they only have ONE key. The price doesn't accord to the place. If I breathe, my bed makes an annoying noise like to wake up all my friends. Bye.

Fair price. Simple but good place to stay. Rooms are small bit confortable. Ask always for a room with private toilet and shower. Very good location with cheapa bars and restaurants near. They are doing renovations on the rooms. 75€ per day is good in Paris for a double room with private WC!

Better than I expected. Very central and with Metro close by. In addition to various supermarkets and DD food sites.
Not a luxury, but if you want to spend little and have a place to sleep, this hotel is ideal.
The criticisms I read make little sense. I have spent €230 for 5 nights in Paris in spring. More economical, impossible. I even got more (private bath) than I paid.

Nice reception, but Room 2 on the first floor is not well appointed. Bathroom 60x60 (size of the tub) and no possibility to rock a towel. No soap, no shampoo. The toilets are even smaller, sitting on the throne, unable to close the door. The sink is next to the bed and we hear the neighbors snoring. No laundry storage, just 2 hangers hanging from the radiator. Bed not made, hole cover, no TV, for €65, it's expensive. We find better for the same price.

The place is clean but there is a lot of noise in the adjoining rooms, the and the receptionist are friendly and our room if had bathroom!

Combined with lots of alcohol might be better than sleeping in a sewer. Extra star — window opens.

It is a good place if you have low budget, has small rooms but is very comfortable and is very central for getting around the city.

Hotel very noisy, everything rustles. You listen to conversations as if they were in your room. Bathrooms in stairs with only 1 toilet. Constant noise. Least worst, give you a key combination to enter the night.

For a French budget hotel, you can't do a lot better. Rooms are clean; common areas are maintained; access is 24 hours; quiet street; prices are very competitive, and the beds are comfy. Staff are knowledgeable about the local area and helpful, and willing to help you when your French is as appalling as mine. A word to the wise: the French for 'suitcase' is NOT 'casse'. This substitution is unhelpful in the extreme. Breakfasts are available at the hotel next door for €5 (at the time of writing).

Very friendly home. After… minimal comfort. But fills the job one bed one bedroom.

More space for the WC we cannot close the door every time we use it. Clean room. Near in metro/subway. Not almost the same in the pictures but I still recommend it.

To avoid. Dilapidated room Room for couple with 2 children. Make his bed. No comfort. No storage. Holed cover.

I stayed in this hotel a few days and it was a good choice. Quite cheap price for a single room with private bathroom in Paris. To have less noise they gave me a room at the last floor, the 5th, without lift. The stairs were a bit short and tight but ok. Can be a bit complicated if you have many baggages or heavy ones. Neighbours from rooms adiacent were quite loud, or, well, the walls quite thin. Bathroom was big and room big enough. The metro is very near, though at night I didn't feel that safe. In the neighbourhood there are a lot of shops, restaurants, bars, laundry, etc… at the reception are very kind.

Disappointed! The rooms are dirty and there are bad smells as well as in the showers, lots of noises. Short! I do not recommend this hotel to people who really want to rest.

Structure without improvements in the old building where it is located, the heating is very bad for the winter season, the attention was good.

There are better options for the same price, several artifacts are broken including the bed, you do not have breakfast, this close to bars and sector conidss.

Very decent cheap hotel. I got a free upgrade which was very nice of them.

That's cheap for its location but it's the only advantage. The room is literally only one room (lucky the toilet has its own door). The sink is in the room, exit from shower is directly to the room. No cleaning except for emptying trash bin. For 5 nights we stayed we had no change of towels of bed staff, no value cleaning. So if you manage to bring some dirt to the room, it will stay there till your check-out. Mattress on bed was wrapped in plastic bag so it produced irritating crunching sound every time you turn in bed.

Our weekend in beautiful Paris was made much more enjoyable with our stay at Hotel Richard. The mini break was rather last minute and luckily we found affordable accommodation which suited our needs for the trip in Hotel Richard. For those that want to stay in central Paris that want to sightsee etc it is ideally situated with close access to the metro, coffee shops and eateries. If you're going for sightseeing etc and take it for what it is the Hotel accommodation is good as it's price reflects. Shared toilet bathroom is likely unless lucky with availability, I recommend.

Spartan Room with a very average bed. No shutter, no curtain at every window. When we ask if we can have soap or why our room has not been washed, we are sent to stroll. Jemenfoutiste staff.
And to top it off with bed fleas.

It was a very noisy Hotel. Toilet in the stairs with a door that does not close. Very dangerous spiral staircases.

Old and dirty rooms and the toilet is literally a joke. But if you're on a budget, this hotel might be the right choice for you! The staff is friendly, the neighborhood seems okay and its quite good located.

Very old and looks run Down. Staff was nice. Room Spacious. Toilets are hard to reach as they are more like a closet on the middle of the Stairs. Very nice.

Simple and low standard hotel. The personnel is friendly but not very passionate at their job. The rooms are clean but very old and ugly. The were no blankets just the coating and some sort of table cloth as replacement. The were no toilets in the room but on the floor and they were filthy. All in all it was ok for one or two nights but I wouldn't recommend it to stay there any longer.

5 Storey building very old fashioned, stairs are poorly maintained and no lift. cleanliness is a big issue. Also, we got bad mosquito bites from bed bucks in 2 nights spent in the room, still not recovered from that.

The rooms here are very minimalistic. Most of the staff speak English, which is a plus. Very close to the metro, laundromat, super market, cafe etc. (2 min walk at most). Clean and affordable.

I wonder how establishments like this can still be referenced on search engines.
To flee absolutely with regard to the dilapidated premises, safety (wires of the apparent electrical network)
No intimacy with the 5 cm day between each door… In short, a slaughter.

Good location, but the place is somewhat neglected, especially the bathroom.

Hotel well located near the subway. The room was spacious and had bath inside. There are rooms with shared bathroom. It right serious call the hostel.

You get what you pay for room wise. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean, and it's a great location.

Please do not come to this hostel but want to have a bad time.

Horrible salty and I do eat bed bugs. No hygiene and the home is cold and dismissive to avoid absolutely.

If you turn a blind eye and want to stay in a cheap, one is right here. I know not how it is in other rooms is so, but in my everything is correct. The room is not too small, you can be pleasant sleep, shower, etc in the Morning you will be starting at 12 o'clock, from the cleaning lady awakened, but everything else is okay. We were in pairs and have 50 paid.

For one to two Nights, p. Loo eyewear goes missing', noisy. Otherwise, good location and cheap.

We hated so much that we had to cancel on the fields after seeing the State of the Chamber, paint that's peeling everywhere, no sheet, unwashed cover, transparent curtain, ripped from the wall, horrible and dirty toilet! a shame!
FILTHY HOTEL.

The place is a dump! buy I only payed 23€ for the one night and that gets a start. Proximity to metro/downtown gets it the other star. Other than that I have no idea ehy they havnt shut this place down.

Place is a hole, stayed here for 2 days 09/2014. They DO NOT HAVE FREE PARKING (which is advertised) nor any parking at all, closest car park 10 minutes walk 31EUR — 24 hours. Shover does not work, Wi-Fi only in reception, sockets are broken, matrices are as if you would sleep on the floor, no room service nor cleaning, even metal chairs are broken. Price to value ratio is horrible (125EUR per night — value/price would be ok for 70EUR max). 2 stars only because it is located next to Voltaire metro station.

Very Bad hotel!
Nothing to recommend! Full catastrophe awaits:-very very noisy because the windows are broken and maybe 10 years old;
-room Unglaublig dirty;
-the bed was so I'd rather slack in the park somewhere;
-the walls are as if from the paper, you hear every slightest noise. Remember, the room is very cheap, which means almost in every third room prostitutes "edit" their customers;
-in toilets quite often was very dirty and even no toilet paper;
-room photo I saw when booking, had no similarity whatsoever to my room! I even asked at the front desk — where is this room?! Who answered — the photo is from our partner. Unfortunately the money you have to pay at the very beginning and you can not just go away, in short we have not slept normally overnight and this hotel has simply filthed our holiday! That was a nightmare…

This "hotel" is no case to recommend not connecting just the free Wi-Fi, on the 2nd day of our stay, which fell in the toilet on the first floor plaster from the ceiling (until we had checked out still nothing had happened, so she was not once cleaned up), this toilet was the only one with toilet seat (there are only 4 toilets throughout the hotel)! The bedding was very dirty. 36 banned us in the courtyard of the room to smoke, we were allowed to use also our camping stove, eating only one possibility was to make with an old microwave. The sink in our room were also clogged and not expired. On at all no case made here come.

Very bad hotel. Uncomfortable beds. You can't even use common toilets. Although it's advertised with Wifi, it's not possible to connect that slow Internet other than reception room. Just location is okay.

A bit stale but if you are looking for a budget hotel and just to sleep, then it can be fine.
