Instead of a normal room, we got a large corner room with 2 window fronts.
The food around restaurant was super delicious!

Awesome sauna. Cosy and relaxing atmosphere.

Hotell Presidentti has been newly renovated so the rooms are nice. Try to book a taxi the day before because the queues in the morning can get very long.

It's a huge hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There's an iron and a ironing. Great breakfast. I had an uncomfortable bed and a pillow, you can't open the window.

Located in central Helsinki the Presidentti is walking distance from many restaurants, cafes and museums. I would recommend it for anyone looking to stay in a hotel with many activities nearby. The rooms were clean, with modern amenities expected of a lodging with high standards. The breakfast included many options for diets and taste. My favorite being the fresh fruit and baked beans. Stay here if you want to experience night life as well as easy walking to parks churches and museums. Go visit the rock church if you can find a service or live music. I hope to return in the winter, finland is great!

A couple from the Netherlands 41 and 42 years. Beautiful hotel at perfect location. My Finnish mom (also member of Hok Elanto) booked this hotel for us because of our engagement. My future husband and I staying here for a couple of nights from May 5, 2018. On May 7, my fiancé birthday, no congratulations at all. The staff was not really friendly and spoke bad English at the reception and very “own people” oriented. Such a huge difference between The Netherlands and Finland. One evening we ordered some drinks at bistro Manu. Just one beer and one glass of red wine, we paid 21, 20 The young girl (staff) didn’t show us any price lists, she had clearly difficulty’s with English. Wasn’t really welcome feeling. The cleaning girl was very kind and sweet. She was maybe the only nice person from whole hotel who smiled at least. We are very disappointed, such a nice hotel actually, but without a good staff no 5 stars for us.

Good location in the city center. Big, fresh rooms. Recommended.

City Hotel. Small rooms, dark and grey. The breakfast is monotonous, but quite a lot of everything. The coffee was not pleasant at all. The room has a kettle and cups, tea and coffee, but there is no spoon. The mini bar is paid. From cosmetics-on the wall hangs dispenser with soap and shampoo, disposable bags with foam for the bathroom, air conditioning and body lotion. Overall clean. There were a few people. Excellent location. There is Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, except the pool.

This is a great hotel. The staff are polite and discreet. The continental breakfast is filling. I took a star because I would've appreciated a microwave in my room to warm the many pastries I bought.

Location 4+ Central, close to everything, but locked between mostly unimpressive buildings so views from the rooms are not likely to be exciting Staff: 3+ OK, nothing specific to complain but did not feel myself particularly welcome. Large place — "ready, next! " attitude Hotel interior: 2 — not cozy at all. Rather unwelcoming place to be in Room: 2 Very small room, very dull interior, dirty window without any sort of view, tiny bathroom. Breakfast: 3 Meh Overall — the worst of few Sokos chain hotels I've been to. Won't visit again unless no other options available.

The hotel is central located, near to many shopping malls and restaurants. The room is tastefully decorated with modern facilities, bed is comfy and nice. The only short fall is shower is on top of bath tub which make it difficult and dangerous for the elderly. The breakfast selection is pretty good. Room is pretty big and we enjoy our stay here.

Renovation is still going on, but ready newed rooms are very nice and comfortable. Service and personnel are very polite and helpful. Location is one Best in city. My stars still are not as normal hotel stars but I like this hotel very much. Also very good local/Micro brewery beer Bar is very near — in same block.

Stayed for 1 night, everything arranged, there is a restaurant and a pool. That's just where there is dust and corridors a little confused, but we did not cause inconvenience)

Very average hotel with poor breakfast. Quite expensive for what you get. Much better hotels in area for similar price. Breakfast was average for a 3* hotel, let alone 4

I stayed here several times some years ago. The location is really excellent, but the rooms were dated.

Soviet kind of cozy atmosphere, but no gym. Nice and tidy, though. Great location.

It's a great hotel. With the new design of the rooms became even cozier.

The biggest advantage of the hotel is it's location — it's close everywhere. And that's pretty much it. Rooms were big enough, rather clean, but also old and outdated — the hotel in general was quite old. I didn't like the pool, because it was very small, to small to swim. At least the sauna was nice.

Central and Cosy. Next to the Church of silence. Well connected. Take it easy.

Had a wonderful stay here during the 2017 Ja Europe Enterprise Competition. Friendly staff, working Wi-Fi, clean rooms and generally a nice atmosphere.

A bit lost. Bad service. Meals arrive at different times at table. A real do not! But hey it’s helsinki. Overcrowded and under powered. It’s not London. For sure.

Staying at Hotel Presidentti was a really good experience. There are nice beds, a great pool/sauna area and the breakfast buffet was simply impeccable. There were, however, some minor drawbacks; the doors to the rooms don't close unless you pull them all the way shut and the Wi-Fi didn't work during my whole stay. Other than that, it was pretty great.

A bit old hotel but its location is the best as it is near Kamppi center. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The breakfast is really good.

Good location for the city centre. The room was clean and comfortable. The room was very clean and the rooms were very nice. The description of the number on the site corresponded to reality. The breakfast schedule and the swimming pool are the same, it's not very convenient. If it is possible to extend the time of the sauna visit, it would be wonderful. Who is going to visit Helsinki recommend this hotel.

Things were as expected. Generally in good order, with only minor errors. Unfortunately my room was above a bar that played very loud music till at least 02:00, which totally ruined my sleep. The muffled bass was impossible to ignore. I would stay in this hotel again, but absolutely not in the same wing. I expect to be able to sleep in a hotel, and in the room I was assigned I could only sleep well after 02:00. Annoying.

Nice hotel near the city center of Helsinki. Employees where very friendly. The lobby was more impressive than the room. But the room was large enough, was clean and the bathroom had a shower (not a bath). Also there was free internet. The breakfast was also nice. All with all we had a good time here!

I read the reviews, can tell. If it is cold, then you need to adjust the thermostat on the wall. Was 0 and it was cold, turned the heating on and was fine. We ate in the hotel but we arrived at the third hour, so quickly. Prices are certainly high, but in the center of everywhere. Moved the bedside table in the room, it turned out that bad clean room, behind the cupboard was dirty! Minibar in room inadequate for the price, better do not take products. I take the money, but like everywhere in Europe. Decent Breakfast, great selection of healthy food to fried bacon. The pool is free to visit and sauna, but on our visit the water was terribly cold.

Stay away unless your a trucker or need a room for an hour. The quality of the room resembles a Ukrainian brothel, and the knowledge of the staff is for teenagers. All in all a shithole that needs to be rebuilt.

Like all such hotels. Dinner in the restaurant waiting for 40 minutes, but as it is, it seemed waited an eternity.
