Very pleasant experience at this property. Great location with nearby shops and restaurants. Short walk to historic churches and Esplanadi. Market Square and cruise terminals 1-2km. Hotel staff top notch.

Very dated hotel. The hallways are especially noteworthy. 70's worn carpet and the walls are covered in greyish wallpaper which has bumps and is loose at regular intervals. Breakfast is kind of okay. Fruit selection is poor. For instance, the strawberries were not totally defrosted out of the package yet. Frozen strawberries? Well, I think they were strawberries… Rest is okay. Don't expect too much.

Excellent service, lovely staff. Junior suite is good size and nice amenities. Loved the bed. Will come again soon!

We loved this hotel. An amazing view from the room. Delicious breakfast. Great location, clean and excellent service. A very comfortable bed after a long trip through Russia.

Mixed review, some areas of the room were slightly grubby. The bathroom had a nasty smell throughout our stay. The room itself smelt if a cheap air freshener. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The room had all the expected amenities, kettle TV etc. The breakfast was extremely good, a large range of food, from cooked food, through to fresh fruit and veg and waffles or pancakes. You would struggle to find someone who wouldn't be pleased.

Got upgraded to the Royal Suite in my first trip to Helsinki. Lovely room. Had dinner here at their grill (lamb kebabs) which was good as well.

Service was really offbeat, have wrong directions, bad advice about the ferry to Tallinn. Just didn't feel comfortable with the staff. Room was as you would expect of a Radisson standard, though. Don't understand why it was over €300 a night, though. Probably would shop around next time. Review based on a trip in December 2016.

Tolles Hotel, sehr zentral und gutes Frühstück. Auch die Sauna und die Kooperation mit dem gegenüberliegenden "City Gym" zum Fitness machen während des Aufenthaltes ist wirklich klasse.

Expensive butt very good hotel with many options for breakfast. Offers even freshly made omelettes with your own choice of ingredients. The rooms are quite spacious but a bit too warm even with the heading switched off. Only flaw: emptying the bath tub caused a flood of the toilet floor…

Now dated Hotel in the structure and furnishings. Point of strength the position. Not the height of a Radisson.

Were here at the conference. Very cozy place, located a few minutes from the airport.

Centrally located and comfortable stay. Breakfast was also gud. Room are bery ordinary but comfortable.

Impressive hotel in the very city center. Great place if you stay for business or shopping. Great breakfast is served here. You can save 33 euro on parking daily if you leave your car on the lane next to orthodox cemetery which is 10 minutes walk to the west. You can also shop food in a supermarket just opposite the hotel entrance, but would you really, Mr-White-Collar? )

A good hotel in the city center, few minutes away from the train and bus station. Quiet and clean Breakfast buffet was very good.

I thought it was just me that had a few issues but my colleagues also did not have the best experience here. First room was a box and the lights on the building were pointing into my room so it was coming through my curtains. The mattress was wider than the frame so when I say on the bed I slipped off it. When pulling the bed open the feathers from the duvet when everywhere. I got a free upgrade to a buisness room which was nice, but the only main difference was the size. The staff were friendly enough but it didn't feel like I was entering somewhere that would be cozy, rather a place to stay. The breakfast was the best part, hands down the nicest of any Finnish hotels I have been to. Very large variety. It is spread around the room so you have to hunt down what you want but there are plenty of things to choose from.

The hotel is ok. Rooms are a little dated. The shower is annoying as it is in the bath which makes it hard to adjust the shower head so you end up at one end standing on the plug. The shower was not the cleanest but the bed was comfy and the rooms are quiet. No 24 hour concierge which made me sad.

Very conveniently located. Close to Metro and shops. Walking distance to central Helsinki. Our room was good. Service was excellent. The buffet breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly and multilingual. We would definitely consider staying here again. Kiitos!

It's a good hotel. Of course it's not cheap. But the location is excellent. For those who travel by train it is very good and to go for a walk to the center too. And the staff stands out for their kindness and their predisposition. It has very good views of the city.

Very spacious rooms with all the comforts. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would give five stars if there was the indoor gym. The restaurant offers good quality dishes. The meats are great.

Good business traveller hotel. Room and bed comfortable which is a major plus. Staff very friendly and helpful. Solid breakfast with plenty of choice. Dinner I found overly expensive and if you stay a week the options are very limited.

Stayed on the 7th floor with a perfect view. The breakfast was a never ending buffet of awesomeness. Staff was really friendly and the atmosphere was great.

A convenient location. Old furniture. The sauna is separate. The hotel is a clean night — Yes. For a long-term stay — no!

Furnitures were really worn out, they looked like 20+ years old. They also looked quite filthy with some old stains on them. Drinking glasses were dirty, mirror was dirty and floor under the bed was really dirty. There was water in the electric kettle, who knows how long it was been there. Every now and then it was basically impossible to get hot water out from tap or shower. There are no heating in the bathroom floor so it was absolutely freezing. Also there was spots of rust in the bathtub and bathroom ceiling. Staff was nice and breakfast was good. But all in all, this place seemed more like a hostel than hotel.

Because we had some troubles with our room (apparently it was double booked) we went back to the reception, without a second thought she offered us another room, and we upgraded from a normal two person room to an executive suite. We had a great stay, thank you!

Rooms are big enough and clean. I've been here 3 times already and I can say that they need to do some maintenance on building facade and some facilities. Very kind and helpful staff. Good Wi-Fi connection and the buffet has some good selection.

The hotel is well located, close to the train stations and the main shops are located within walking distance in the campi shopping centre. Even so, it's not noisy. The hotel is popular with tourists from all over the world. The restaurant with good cuisine, the choice of dishes for breakfast is varied and aplenty.
The receptionist is friendly at the hotel and tries to understand and help. Parking on site will cost 33 euros per day.
Despite the stated 4 stars, the content of the room leaves much to be desired. Were in September in room 605. Wai-fai is good and free. The room has an iron, an ironing board, a trouser press, a kettle, a mini bar, a safe.
Cleaning a damp room hasn't been seen in a while. Dust on all the speakers. On the windows, inside the room left a message to descendants:-).
The fridge doesn't work, but there's an ice generator on the floor.
TV with paid channels.
Bathroom, big, beautiful, clean. On the front door the bar of the cashier is torn off and nails stick out. The overall experience of the hotel is positive.

Overall a nice stay. I just couldn't find the phone number of the reception in my room.

Avoid room 237 — there is a light outside that shines right into the window and a noisy service cupboard next door. No other rooms available so I was offered a bed in the sauna suite but there is a drinks fridge and exit signs (and a very small single bed) so even more light than in 237. Roberto tried his best to fix the problems but taping towels up above the curtains to stop some light coming in and giving me earplugs for the noise but this is only a compromise, not a solution. I was hoping to get a good night sleep but with all the hassles it was after 1am when I finally got to bed and now I'll also have the inconvenience of moving rooms in the morning so there is definitely not the promised 100% customer satisfaction from this customer.

Top hotel. With a sauna and a gym, wonderful breakfast (really, it's a paradise). Room was big enough, with a good view and tends that avoid the morning light.

Large room and bathroom, with space to open both suitcases. Underfloor heating in bathroom which was great. Single beds a good size. Excellent breakfast. Carpets a bit worn in bedroom but didn't bother me. Overall good value and good location.

Great hotel. Clean rooms. Breakfast is amazing, there is food for everyone. Wanted to try everything that was offered, but there was too much of different kinds of food and we could not accomplish this mission. Workers were friendly and willing to help. Totally will go back someday.

Nice rooms. Separate men's and women's sauna. Friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet. Needs a pool. Also, I could smell smoke in my room at random times.

Not as good as I expected. Worn carpets, breakfast room very full of people (the food was very good) and "Blackout" curtains not blockean well light to be able to sleep. Remember that in this city in summer almost not there is night.

+'s Currently the tallest building in Norway. Meaning the best view of the city. Bar/restaurant has def the best view. Great for New Year fireworks. Extremely centrally-located. -'s Neighbouring rooms leak more sound than they should.

The Radisson Blu Royal Hotel hotel made my first time in Helsinki extra pleasurable. The rooms are super clean and the staff is very friendly. Do yourself a favor and upgrade to the Business class room. It truly is in the heart of everything. You can walk to shopping, great cafes and public transportation. Plus the super breakfast is wonderful.

Not so good as I expected from Radisson. First of all it was cold in the suite (well, I'm from Russia and very comfort temperature is always on in our houses. Maybe Scandinavian countries has different opinion on the comfort temperature). Second. The suite is rather old and need to be renovated. Third. The cleaning was awful! Dust under the bed, on the shelves! And we ask twice before someone come to clean it.

Hotel is ok. But there is no way to get inside the gym that they are advertising on the website without leaving the hotel building and going outside — it is in a separate building. That was not a good surprise for a winter season.
