The hotel room was very comfortable and the staff were great. The location, on the other hand, was not great; it was in a more run-down part of town.

Two blocks away from the city center, this hotel is an ideal place for a stopover in San Jose. The rooms are spacious, very clean and nicely decorated in addition to being very quiet and silent, which is really a plus compared to the close proximity of the hustle and bustle of the centre. There is also a nice garden in the back where you can take a hearty breakfast!

Good home good breakfast facility very nice, but the local "cucaracha" have visited us during the night at 3 o'clock in the morning, therefore, rather hard to get a good night…

Not very good value for money but very clean and with very friendly staff.

The rooms close to the reception have no noise cancellation whatsoever. You can hear every word spoken at the reception and breakfast from the room. If you want to have a good night rest, this is definitely not the place to go to. Other than that, staff seems helpful and cleanliness is ok. You get what you pay for.

Decent location. It is quick to walk to the main parks and museums. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast that is included is quite filling. Our two queen-size bed room was spacious. It was nice to have a bar-size fridge in the room.

Very friendly staff, great breakfast, clean rooms, no hot water for our shower, but we still enjoyed our stay! Not the safest area at night but fine during the day. Would stay again!

It was the perfect place for our overnight stay in San Jose. The owner hooked us up with a yummy restaurant name and it was just what we needed after traveling all day! The room was exactly as described. Breakfast there is best eaten in the garden to hear the birds. Thank you so much for helping us start off our adventure and hosting us!

The owner was very nice and extremely accommodating to us leaving early the next morning after our arrival. Property has a beautiful garden and is in an excellent part of town. The rooms are rustic but provide a nice view and have basic and necessary amenities. Good for someone seeking a real traveler experience.

Great quality for the price. Their garden is so beautiful. The stuff is friendly. I missed my flight and arrived really late and they were waiting for me. The guy didn't even complain. Location is quite central. It took me 20-25 minutes to get to tracopa bus station walking.

Nice little hotel in downtown San Jose. The rooms are lovely designed but don't have AC. The little garden is anyway a nicer place to relax and enjoy the nature and the very nice service, the hotel has to offer. This hotel is a great place to start your trip in Costa Rica.
