Nice hotel, breakfast was great, everything you need in one place, just to far to nip into town if you want to go out.
➜ We slept more or less in an apartment in the reception, which was reasonably strange. Since no balcony in the apartment unfortunately also very gloomy and without hot water in the shower.
The staff in and around the front desk was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the organization in the hotel or The sister hotel El Faro a catastrophe. We had booked 4 nights including breakfast, but have waived breakfast from the third day. The (relatively loveless) buffet was constantly empty, sometimes there were no cups, sometimes no glasses. The staff were completely overwhelmed, tables were not cleared and were full of leftover food from the predecessors, everlasting waiting times on cups and no system recognizable.
Also bad is that the towels offered were often only available at about 11 or 12 o'clock, so far too late for a relaxing bathing.
Location is good for that. Beachside and directly at the park.

The room we were given had mold and rotting wood in the bathroom. Front desk attendant Allan was rude and unhelpful. There are many nice places to stay in the area, you should book somewhere else.
