We received everything we were offered, 2 elevators, 2 swimming pools, good air conditioning, rooms in excellent condition, hot water, maid service and breakfast included. The viewpoint on the 5th floor very nice.

To no one I recommend this place, it is not at all what they offer, lousy service, there is no tv, they did not give us breakfast, there are not even glasses to drink water! Horrible this place and charismatic.

I recommend this place very good customer support. Beautiful place. A spectacular view. And we had a wonderful time. And the kind and friendly 😊 manager.

Terrible service arrived and did not know anything about the reservation was paid 3 weeks in advance and did not make a refund for unused services.

The rooms smelled of pure humidity.
They were fixing and we were never informed.
There was no one staying at the hotel.
The impudent administrator doesn't know how to treat people.

Terrible hotel, the elevator did not work, there was no TV signal, the water was leaving the rooms, the transport cart from the rooms to the reception was unloaded, the restaurant was not working so the breakfast offered in the rate had to go out to take it somewhere else. The reception number was never answered, there was only one pool in operation.

A week ago I stayed there and the truth was not a good experience, nothing worked, the elevators, the Wi-Fi, the cable to the safe was broken. There was almost nothing from the restaurant menu.
They closed on Sunday and we had to go to dinner outside
The facilities are not suitable for people with disabilities, you have to walk a huge and uncomfortable slope and upload your luggage, because they do not let you park near the rooms.
The truth is that they have serious management problems.
If they plan to go to rest it is not the place because they play music durisimo all day in the pool, (merengue and salsa)
In the area there are better places for the same price.

Too much bad customer service from the administrator's arrogance. Q apart from bad talk treats customers and their own employees very badly.

I am staying here and the place is acceptable, the employees are very friendly; however, the service and taste of the RESTAURANT's food IS TERRIBLE, extremely expensive for the quality and quantity of food. My husband and I ordered a ceviche, a whole fish (400 grams), 3 jumbo shrimp and 2 soft drinks, we were charged 36 thousand colones, too brazing! To this we must add the 1 hour and 20 minutes of waiting. Today we went to a restaurant that is across the street, it is called "El chante", excellent attention and for 2 whole fish with potatoes and salad plus 2 soft drinks, we paid 15 thousand colones … the latter I recommend lots, totally something else!

Great place, attention, very accessible rates for anyone, delicious food, and the spectacular view that is definitely the best of Manuel Antonio! I recommend it 100%

Stay away from this hotel! or should I say hostel. It is definitely dirty and old like one. The furniture is so gross. This honestly is like a 2 star Hostel it is very dirty. The furniture is old and rusty. These are containers so the furniture they used is inadequate. You cannot walk to the bathroom without climbing the bed. It is so supper dirty and even if they gave me another room I just left to another hotel because the mattress are old cheap and dirty. The blanket was yellow instead of white. And it had dark patches. All the guests are are outside their rooms and it can get loud. You cannot rest here or be comfortable because after the hike in Manuel antonio you want a clean bed and bathroom to shower. Here all you get is worst than camping. Not toilet paper or shampoo so bring your own or just avoid these hotel because you will regret so bad. I was embarrassed and so ashamed of choosing this hostel.

The access to the beach is wonderful. I love how they used old storage containers to build the hotel. The view of the sunset is magnified.

Excellent view to such an extent that I was able to see whales, location super don't have to navigate, the customer service 2 great people I met and always providing everything possible, and I think the hotel with them the hotel would not be the same obviously, we need to work in a team but if it weren't for them the service would be regular or bad! (Kimberly and Joseph) excellent work are people with those attitudes that are needed.

Great location. Super accessible to the Park and restaurants especially if you don't want to drive. Recommended, my room was facing the pool. Breakfast included very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great person and gave us great recommendations and made the stay very good to me and my daughter and I am sure to the rest of the guests, always with an excellent attitude. Recommended hotel.

Different type of hotel because it's made out of recycled shipping containers. Enjoyed the pools after a day at the beach. EXCELLENT views of the water. Breakfast is a little limited with choices. I wasn't able to anything but fruit due to allergies. The hike to the rooms from reception is on a large hill. Luckily they have golf carts to transport you up and down. Bar offers 2 for 1 drink specials too.

Very convenient for the Parque. But it is hard to get in and out of the area. We used this as our base and that was a mistake. One night for your day at the Parque is enough. Find some place less touristy for a long stay. The rooms are actually stacked shipping containers (very narrow) and they are up an incredibly steep slope. You need to wait for their cart to take you up and down. The pools are wonderful, clean with great views. The restaurant is convenient with good service but mediocre food quality.

It is an almost flawless for this hotel which despite its very convenient location (10m from the entrance to the park) makes us forget that we are in a place of high tourism. The rooms are spacious and facing the 2 pools, too bad not to assume the fact of using containers to create the rooms. Only defect we were on the ground floor of shod and we had an air conditioning engine behind the room which in addition to making noise masks the song of wildlife…

Good location, decent Wi-Fi. That’s the only good part about this hotel. Starting at 5am the restaurant above starts making a lot of noise that can be heard through out the room. So don’t expect to sleep past then. The hot water in the shower keeps cutting in and out. The ac suddenly poured water over all of our things. The restaurant has super slow service with mediocre food. I would not stay here again nor would I reccomend it. There are much better choices.

Unique place. Pool is awesome. Restaurant was tasty but extremely slow service. I think they were overwhelmed by our group of 18. It is an accommodating place. Located by the park entrance.

My son and I had a great time at El Faro, the staff is incredibly friendly and generous and we loved the location and the view from the pool. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Highly recommended.

Everything that you would expect from a nice hotel except your room is in the shape of a shipping container. Clean bathrooms, plush bed, mini fridge, couch and TV. Nice little sitting area outside your room to watch the view or leave your bathing suit.

Great room. Incredible view. You can see the sunrise from the pool that is very very. It is not cheap but it is just what comes out because the jotal is very good the truth. Very good service. The only thing a little bad is that you have to go up and down a thousand stairs. You can ask to help you with golf carts and get up and down when you want the same.

The location facing the Pacific, overlooking the pool and the sea, the breakfast very good, the attention of the staff also spectacular.

The rooms are simpl, but with very high quality beds and shower (hot water with lots of pressure, something lacking greatly in our other stay in La Fortuna). The infinity pool is a nice touch. I sent my mother, sister, brother-in-law and nephew to the Lighthouse, because I read the comments and from afar the hotel looks wonderful. According to your experience, strengths: the room very nice, the hotel very new, the pool very good and the view spectacular. Weaknesses: the food, the second breakfast preferred to get out of the hotel to look for another option (Who does that? I told them How bad it was? — If, fatal. I responded to)
The internal transport to the hotel, for the location and design use carts to move guests, two things happened: ONE, there were not enough and they played walk. TWO, were stranded and had to walk. My mother 77años, was walking up and down, which annoyed the column, and the rest became a sore back and hip. I said to them: do you Recommend the hotel? His answer was no.

It was comfy and charming (the rooms were recycled shipping containers). The restaurant was yummy but the Wi-Fi wasnt that great.

The staff was wonderful. They made sure we were safely delivered to our room via golf cart! So accommodating. Our room had a great view of the ocean. Breakfast was great.

I had a REALLY good stay here back in March 2015. I got a private room with air conditioning and it was great. The staff was really nice, I enjoyed the breakfast and the view from up on top of the hill is amazing. Easy to get to the park or beach walking from here, and the staff helped me book a couple tours to do too. The hill is really steep and a hard climb, but I enjoyed the challenge. They did have a golf cart that would take you to the top too. Probably a much better idea. I was able to see a toucan and a few lizards just walking around too.

Best place to stay in Manuel Antonio. We've had the best service. The staff is amazing, very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has the absolute BEST view and the food is delicious. The National Park surrounds the hotel so we see all sorts of animals here. We fed the monkeys and the iguanas, as they all like to hang out at the pool. I would give this a 10 star rating if I had that choice. Pura Vida!

For 30$ a night is not a bad deal, but the private rooms are small dark rooms that are not really great. For the same amount of money I have found better options and quality around costa rica.

If you are a backpacker and are looking for a strategic place with swimming pool, close to the National Park and the beach, this is the site. Now the shared rooms are a bit "different" from many hostels, I think that without doubt can improve it and make it more pleasing to the eye. The private rooms are more enjoyable without a doubt.

Great View. Food at the restaurant was very good. Overall experience was good. Alan, the front desk person was polite. However, one of the other Front desk guys, was really rude and refused to accommodate a simple request to which he had previously agreed. He was not friendly or polite. A simple gesture could have made the entire stay so pleasant for us. But his behavior as we were checking out just left such a sour taste.

This hotel is incredible. It gives you the best view of Manuel Antonio. It is situated above all of the other resorts, literally on the mountain. The service was impeccable, the staff fantastic, the happy hour long and the drinks strong. With our stay we were given breakfast tickets for each person staying in the room. The meal was a full Costa Rican breakfast of your choice. The rooms are a little different than regular hotel rooms — the hotel is created out of "pods", therefore each room is very long and each has a balcony. This is an EXCELLENT choice for a stay in Manuel Antonio.

The worst hostel I have stayed at. If you want to sleep DON'T GO HERE. Tons of people making noise late at night. Bright lights shining directly on the beds. Sketchy people about. Don't recommend.

El Faro, I used to go a lot for the restaurant in the top of a fun container hotel. The chef is a cool guy and the people really friendly.

The hostel is humble with shared services, but very well located. At 100m from the Manuel Antonio park and 300m from the beach.

Fatal! Much care there are two lighthouses, confuse people telling you that the hostel is as of the company of the hotel (the hotel that is nice) but this horrible! It was super nasty! The rooms are of foil, ALL you can hear people having sex, music, conversations, and people vomiting, the reception is very nice and makes you think that the hostel will be similar which it is not, have a condition of no noise after 9 pm thing and do not respect, do not go!

Rooms are noisy and smells quite bad. If you're staying on the very top, you'll have a great view, but be prepared to walk a very steep hill every time you get back to your room. We had another problem right at check-in when the staff was not finding the apartment key, giving a lot of excuses and making us waiting for about 2 hours without giving any solution. It's hard to find hotels with good price in the area, but if you have other options, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The hotel is situated on a hill and offers a fantastic view. The rooms are converted cargo containers and accordingly small. The hotel is a good starting point for a trip to the Manuel Antonio National Park. This is within walking distance. The hotel's restaurant is also recommended.

Excellent restaurant and pleasant staff, but the shipping container bedroom was narrow, dark and did not deserve its Deluxe classification in any degree.

As we were two couples with children, we were offered an apartment for six with two bathrooms and a living room with equipped kitchen. One disaster of all, kitchen utensils and two camping fires. Sheets broken, a room not could use that filtered water from the shower of bath, refrigerator not is had cleaned in years, aires acondicionafos that leaky and wet left the ground constantly. We ask for a refund of part of the money for such disaster and they refused it to us. Nothing advisable.

Didn't stay here, but I can review this place for great and super-cheap food. The portions are as if your mom is serving. There's not much on the menu (8-10 choices of burgers/ salads), but everything is delicious and local. I did take a quick look inside the dorm rooms. Nothing impressive, but it seemed value for the price. Basic accommodation for backpackers on budget.

Stunning views, loved being so close to the National Park and staying in this eco friendly container Hotel. The rooms have modern amenities with authentic wood floors. At night, I was surprised to see so many stars – not much light pollution – the air conditioning was perfect and a heavenly treat after experiencing the humidity at the beach — the room was spacious, comfortable, stylishly set (unless I had prior knowledge that I was staying in a shipping container – I wouldn’t have had a clue) tranquil and rewarding rest – one of the best nights sleep I have had in a long time – felt amazing to be immersed in the jungle space, high up in close proximity to the beach – felt meditative sleep engulf – the ambient room lighting aided my ascent into the dreamworld – peaceful, quiet yet sensitive enough to feel as if laid by the sea, waves – ebbing and froing in synchronicity with my breathing. Alpha state. And images of serenity flooded my senses – knowing only a hundred metres away I was sharing space with monkeys, bats, lizards and other jungle creatures.

Really nice park lots of animals. Just stay away from big groups that go directly to the beach. The trail to the viewpoint it's a most.
