The staff lied about the price on the phone, then lied multiple times during check in. The rooms had some foul odors, roaches, but were affordable.

Poor facilities, the room is awful and the pool is super dirty. They charge very expensive for not providing parking to each room, or breakfast.

Lousy parking and layout of the space, there is that go up or down many ramps to move between the room and the parking lot.

You have a nice LCD big screen w cable, however is very difficult to avoid the traffic noise at night (too many motorcycles running uphill). AirCon was not in the best condition neither. Sewer smell is always in the air and some big roaches are around the rooms, mainly because the sewer itself might be too close to the surface. Too expensive for what you receive, plus we got extra charged for paying in dollars.

Cons: has basic amenities, rooms are outdated and doesn't look well maintained, a. C. Smelt like sewage, noisy as its right off the main street. Cons: free parking, right at the beach, internet Wi-Fi reception was good.

The hotel was very simple. Very nice. And the proximity to the great beach.

It is a Nice place they have only the things you need if visit Manuel Antonio for few days, if you visit more than 2 nights you would prefer a 3 or 4 stars hotel.

A real value — rooms were clean — A/C worked — breakfast was good — staff very friendly and helpful — did not see one bug in our 7 nights here — short walk to beach — charming!

I don't give him all the stars because the attention was strange, not bad, only it cost to understand the boy. Perfect location, nice rooms, very nice view. Small pools.

Nos hicieron mal la reserva a pesar de que se envió correo y se les llamó siete veces para coordinar un grupo grande. El personal de recepción en lugar de tratar de resolver se quiso poner a hacer bromas. Las instalaciones son muy básicas y no les dan mantenimiento, el agua caliente no funciona bien. Lo único rescatable fue una señora de la cocina que se portó muy amable; tienen vista al mar y el aire acondicionado y el mini bar resultaron muy útiles.

Stay away from this place. The staff were rude, the rooms smelled like sewage, the sheets were dirty, I found blood by the hotel entrance and near our room. They had no toiletries present in the room, and I have no idea how they justify charging 90$ us plus tax for a room that isn’t even worth 10$ a night. I also discovered several insects in our room, and our walls were filthy. We had paid for two nights but were so disgusted we left after one night. They do not offer any refunds even when you tell them your circumstances. This hotel will trick you by showing you pictures of their nicest room when the 99% of this hotel is a total dump.

It'S pretty messy and sloppy. And I think it's a little pricey for what they offer the only good thing is that it is close to the beach.

Nice, excellent location, very quiet and safe, you can even walk to the beaches and the national park.

Your expectations should be alligned to how much you are spending. This is not a fancy place. Close to the beach. That's what counts.

It meets your accommodation goal but overall the hotel is a bit abandoned and neglected.

Very expensive for the quality offered, the rooms are not clean, they smell of something, the seweres flooded our bathroom, the toilets wouldn't flush most of the time, insects all over the place, very noisy at night with the traffic. Only good thing is that it's a walking distance from the beach, and the front desk were friendly and helpful.

Good place if you're looking for an inexpensive hotel near the beach and the park. Very basic, internet barely worked off and on, but did have working A/C which was perfect for a vacation on a budget.

Dangerous and dirty. I felt too ashamed to even take any photos of our room! The place is being run by a greedy Korean owner, who is known for her madness in the whole Manuel Antonio! Everyone there knows Hotel Coco Beach thanks to her! The hotel's mainatance is based on 'super-glue'! Our bedside lamp become a firework, with sparkles coming out from the taped wires near the switch. Just imagine the worst hotel you could stay in. This is the well advertised Hotel Coco Beach Manuel Antonio. Our room was changed after the first night! Most of the rooms are right in front of the breakfast shed and it was probably the filthiest room I've ever seen! We would have paid double to move to another hotel, but after paying £1200 for 13 nights (staff is instructed to charge guests for the whole stay on the first day) we could not afford to waste this amount of monies. They advertise hot water. I complained twice with no success, until my partner threatened them to put the hotel on fire! Hot water was there 5 mins later, when they switched the boiler on… The griddy owner tries to save on everything. Breakfast is always the same: you can only have 1 cheap toasted slice of bread and 1 fried egg. The outside area is very steep with uneven construction site style concrete driveways. Also, forget about privacy here! They advertise terraces or balconies, but they are actually hallways or pavements, in both buildings.

The site is fine, but it was very expensive for what it offers, and that was low season, the receptionist tries to sell you tours at all costs (I guess it takes commission), the room is very simple, with air conditioning and fridge, and in our case, a huge spider under The bed.

Great location, good breakfast, good rate.

It is amazing this place, and anita is the best always boy at the same place in holy week special.
