I had to book this hostel last minute because the original one I booked more than a month in advance (The Black Sheep), said they are 6 people and they can’t communicate between them, so they didn’t know we were coming and we had no room for the 2 nights we were staying in Medellín. Brick hostel thankfully had free rooms. We stayed there. Nice and helpful staff. Although, windows are single glass and the hostel is in a main road, so it is super noisy since 5am or even earlier. Cleansing is not their strength, we’ve found eggs of a kind of insect they didn’t even know what it was, and some of these insects in the curtains. We had to complain and apparently, they washed them and put them back clean. No breakfast, very expensive for what it is.
