Person the response the intercom was quite rude, maybe more tact for the potential client and really long to answer the phone… The intercom ahould be fixed so tbat we dunnot need to yell on the street… There was no parking available should maybe co cerde having a parking for the clients…

Great location, close to metro station. Well equipped accommodations with everything you would want, including a common area/living room. Very personalized service with a wonderful breakfast. Andre is an excellent host and Jean was extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend Sir Montcalm for anyone visiting Montréal.

Breakfast was scarce. 1 egg, croissants were frozen then heated up. Manager is very nice. Old style bathroom, not an ensuite.

Too bad we can't put zero stars! Flee this GITE! The owner is completely insane, he cries after people and makes bullying. Run!
Don't go there, manager is crazy. He intimidates People.

Love this B & B. Whenever we come to Montreal, we stay here if there is an available room. It is ideally located. The innkeepers are warm, welcoming, accommodating, and helpful. Wonderful breakfast. Great selection of rooms. Reasonably priced. It's our home in Montreal.

Trump and Le Pen supporters will enjoy the discussion with the owner. Others may want to abstain from having breakfast with him. Otherwise the b&b is in its price category. Large rooms, well heated, clean but simple. The bathroom could need an overhaul. Please note that there is an additional fee for leaving bags behind the last day after check out : 10CAD + tax.

Very clean, comfortable and well appointed rooms with pleasant and welcoming owners and staff. The made-to-order breakfast was delicious and included assorted cheeses and house-made jam.

Beautiful and cozy bed and breakfast in the heart of the Village. Great restaurants nearby and close to the Metro so you can easily get to anywhere in the city.

Simple breakfasts (fruit, hard boiled egg, tea/coffee, orange juice, and choice of carb (toast, bagel, croissant, chocolate croissant), nothing homemade. The bed was soft, but not excessively so. The pillows were quite flat, but four were provided. Lots of minor annoyances & damages (shower leaked, peeling paint on some walls & ceilings, lights in the overhead fan did not work, the windowblind didn't unroll). There wasn't any AC in the room itself (there was in the general house), but there was a ceiling fan, and a floor fan. The windows opened and provided a nice breeze, but they are old & original, without any screen (hint: night + light on = inquisitive bugs). Parking is behind the building, and is $10/day (if no one is there, it's still ok to park… when the attendant arrives, he will put a note on your windshield asking you to come see him & pay — he is very nice and polite). There is rear access, close to the parking lot, but it's via a narrow spiral staircase. Or you have a bit of a hike to the front door. Lots of dance/party spots around, but I always felt safe. Overall, I'd book again, but I'd look elsewhere first.

Great accommodations, well decorated, clean and comfortable. Great location. Pricing is fair.
