Great experience staying at the Hotel Le Dauphin Montreal. Rooms and entire hotel were very clean. Breakfast was great each morning with hard working staff making sure everything ran perfect. Each room is fitted with a Macbook computer which made planning for activities very easy. Bed was also very comfortable. The location of the hotel is a 5 minute walk from old Montreal, multiple restaurants, and a metro station. I would highly recommend this hotel and will stay again in future.

Great hotel! Rooms are very clean, modern and comfortable. The hotel is close to lots of great restaurants and attractions. But the real highlight is the staff. Very, very friendly and welcoming. Book here and you won't be disappointed!

Great location with a nice, clean room. Would have awarded four stars but the maid stole my wife's headphones out of our pouch. Whenever she removes her headphones she leaves the case unzipped so she knows they aren't in there. The headphone case was sitting on top of her suitcase zipped up. She had listened to her music in our room and I watched her put the headphones back in the case and zip them up the next morning. She didn't try and use them again the day we got home. She unzipped the case and it was empty. I called the front desk, and of course, no headphones showed up. The maid was a thief. Floor 9 if the staff cares to fire their loser maid.

Awesome value for the price! Nice room, comfy bed, included breakfast very decent (good coffee), service was great, and location can't be beat. Excellent value for the price too; total with tax came up to ~$190 CDN and that included breakfast for two and the parking at the convention centre! Will definitely stay there again next time we go to Montreal.

Good hotel. Good location. Complementary continental breakfast. TV in suite very nice. HD channels and smart TV option with Netflix and YouTube if that matters to you. Mac computer in each room. Clean. No carpets. Checkout at 12. Price is fair. I would ideally give this 8.5/10.

Great location! Wonderful staff except for Marianne who was not helpful or very nice. We were told that there was free parking but come to find out you had to pay for it. There were no apologies from Marianne. She doesn't do well representing your establishment. I feel we were discriminated because we're Americans. We had a fabulous time until now.

Rooms were clean, breakfast was a bit disappointing. Coffee choices excellent if you had the time to spend waiting on a latte, or special drink. Construction across the street that was not mentioned at booking.

Free gym access, free bottled water every day, great building security, in-room computer and smart-tvs. Rooms have an artistic, modern design, but comfort is not sacrificed. The only reason I dropped the rating to 4-stars is the walls, floor, and ceiling are glossy concrete. This is only a bad thing, because they do not block sound well.

The place was perfect. Only 2 small snags, no access to the HDMI port of the TV and I had a seen on an alley and got awakened by a garbage truck.

Very clean, iMac and smart TV in all rooms and lunch included. On the other hand, lunch is a continental breakfast and the view is not very nice (small street and construction just on the other side).

Great location for a couple who wants to easily walk to Chinatown, Old Port and Downtown without the same surrounding noise that other hotels closer to downtown have. The breakfast is good and parking nearby is convenient. Every room has a large Apple computer and Apple TV connected to the TV.

Very nice hotel at a good rate. The continental breakfast was by far the best I've ever had at a hotel. Great location. The only complaint is their parking option. They charge $24 CAD per night to park in the nearby convention center garage. Don't do this! There are multiple options to park for $6-8 CAD very close by. We parked for free on the street one night and in a much cheaper lot the second night.

Hotel close to the center and the animations, the room 106 is modern equipped with a large TV and desktop, the Wi-Fi is free and fast, the bathroom is spacious, the breakfast is a buffet has volonté rather complete.

Second visit here I have to tell you that my first visit was better last year on my arrival I mentioned that my boyfriend was allergic to glutten I am told that there is no bread without glutten for breakfast a nice gentleman tells me tomorrow you will have D U pain without glutten I take care of it personally wowwww! This year I arrive here for three days I still ask for bread without glutten for my allergy. Boyfriend. Mentioning to them that last year a nice gentleman had been in buying they ask me if it is an older man with glasses I answer yes enthusiastically and we. I'm answering Wein that was the. Great rooms, very comfortable beds. Welcome very friendly and who knows how to answer all our questions. The only downside is the breakfast buffet which is not extraordinary.

Hotel clean, nice room, with fridge, large bed comfortable… on the other hand, staff at the reception not very smiling, available but rather very detached… neither hello nor goodnight… pity… breakfast Basic… on the other hand, the maid and the self are very Friendly!

This hotel was in a perfect spot to access everything. We walked our used the metro for all of our travel. The room was clean and modern with heated bathroom floors, which until you have used one you never knew you needed it in your life. The beds were comfortable and big. The service was great the whole time we were there and the breakfast in the morning was a great addition to an already wonderful stay. If you want a great hotel with big rooms and a great fell then this is the place for you. Would come here again.

Great hidden gem downtown, close to major attractions, great food around as well. Stayed in the executive room, was way more then enough room for 2. Washrooms are huge, came with a imac & 55" TV as well. Breakfast included wide assortment of bagels cheese fruits and amazing espresso machine. Only downfall is parking, very limited on street parking, and expensive underground parking close by at the convention center.

Great hotel for price. Only 6 minutes by foot to the train station and the metro a block away. Hotel room very clean and well maintained. The room bathroom has a bathtub for two and a shower stall. Internet speed and connection is good through out the building. My girlfriend and I will definitely consider staying again next time when we are in Montreal.

This is a great place — very competitive pricing with lots of good customer service to go along with your stay. The breakfast is above standard for that type of "Hotel Continental Breakfast" and the coffee is hot and tasty. If you need advice of how to get somewhere or where to go to eat — the staff gave great honest suggestions — I'll be back.

Beautiful modern rooms with hardwood floors instead of the usual carpet. Clean. Rooms have nice little extras such as a Mac, Apple TV, and bottles of water. The service is very friendly. Included breakfast is decent with delicious Montreal bagels and croissants, banana bread, yogurt, boiled eggs, and cappuccino. The gym is mediocre, but sufficient. The lobby area is a decent area to work or meet people. Between the nice rooms, the location and the price, I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Best hotel in downtown Montreal! It's right in the middle of the main street & Old Montreal, close to all the attractions by foot in a safe area. The staff are friendly, the hotel is super clean and modern (almost like staying at a new condo! ), and free breakfast! Priced just right too!

The room was very spacious and with modern layout and amenities. The hotel has a good central location and the staff were helpful. The included breakfast is decent, nothing to rave about but good enough if you don't have any breakfast plans. Overall I think this place is great for a no frills stay, ideal for the type of traveler that is basically in their room just to rest and sleep.

Great location downtown and with easy bus and metro access. Bars, cafes, and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Clean and stylish rooms. The rooms come equipped with Apple TV and an iMac as well. Continental breakfast included was simple but more than enough. Breads, mixed fruit, yogurt, cheese, and coffee or espresso. Would certainly recommend it to a friend.

The location was perfect for easily getting to our venue and dinner/shopping options. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very spacious and clean with lots of conveniences (two tvs, Apple computer, living room area, nicely sized bathroom). The complimentary breakfast was a nice surprise. It was pretty basic, but it really was all we needed and the coffee was delicious. Great stay overall, and we would choose Le Dauphin again.

My girlfriend and I just spent the weekend at Le Dauphin in downtown Montreal. We absolutely loved our stay there. The staff was friendly and professional. The room was fantastic. Great modern decor and comfy bed and great linens. The bathroom was clean and the shower was terrific. The location is Minutes from old Montreal. We could not have asked for more. Great hotel straddling the old town and downtown in Montreal. Very clean and modern with a really good concierge service. Only downside was no parking on site but they did provide a discount on parking just one block away in a secured underground lot. Only a short 3 minute walk. Really not a deal breaker at all. I will most certainly be back.

So angry. I've been up half the night tossing and turning because the "mattress" in this hotel is a concrete slab. Literally… you climb on it and it creaks. I'm so sore and exhausted. And the hotel doesn't have any other rooms with different beds OR any kind of softer top. Not even sleeping on 3 of their pillows helped. Then I wake up to light. We put the blinds down only to realize this morning that they don't cover the whole window. And the bathroom door doesn't close! I have to literally shoulder check it for it to get anywhere near closed… and the sounds it makes when it is being closed is so loud. Probably because there's nothing in these rooms to absorb sound. I constantly feel like I have to whisper Maybe instead of having iMacs in every room (which is at least $2500 each) you could get a decent mattress and a good set of blinds. My opinion of a place isn't based on whether they provide me with a computer. It's whether it serves its purpose and we get a good night sleep in a dark room.

We stayed at Hotel Du Dauphin this past weekend for just one night. Before booking I had done lots of research on the location of the hotel, the hotel itself as well as ready MANY reviews. We were lucky enough to be able to check in early as we had arrived to the hotel earlier than expected. We were greeted amazingly by the front staff at arrival which was very nice. The gentleman was super helpful and was able to give us directions and information for indoor parking located down the road. We were able to get a reduced rate for parking when we payed through the hotel. A definit bonus as the hotel does not have parking on site. We were definitely let down once we got to our room though for a few reasons. One was the size of the room itself. Photos are definitely deceiving to make the rooms look much larger than what they are. Almost no room to walk around without stubbing your toes on something (ouch) another was the pictures provided show a bathtub. Our room had a shower only which is not very helpful when you are traveling with a young child. I made a call to the front desk immediately to see if we could switch rooms to one that had a tub even if it meant we had to wait to check in and the lady that answered my call was not helpful what so ever and just basically said "no sorry" and that was the end of that. I explained our situation and she was not accommodating to it what so ever. The TV in our room was not working properly at all.

Location is great and so is the room. Staff is very courteous. However, there was no indication prior to booking online, nor in the confirmation email of the ongoing construction. Expect a rude awakening at 8 a. M. Breakfast choice is extremely limited.

Very clean, friendly staff. Jai enjoyed floating wood floors, and the equipment of the premises, including the Keurig machine and the iMac.

The room and bathroom are of good size and great. Room was clean. It included electronic blinds, safe and a good size fridge. They have a decent breakfast. Would highly recommend if price is competitive.

Great spot gives easy waking time between modern Montreal and old Montreal. Rooms are large, modern and clean with an iMac to use with internet access. Staff is also friendly.

WARNING: There is construction happening on either side of the building, on one side, the foundation for a new building is being laid, while on the other a building is having another 4 or so stories added to it. IT IS LOUD starting at around 7-8 am. The construction continues till about 7 at night. If you plan on being up early and out all day, it's great, but, if you are like me and enjoy sleeping till around 9 on your vacation, expect a rude wake up. It literally sounded like someone drilling, or jack hammering, right above our room. We talked to the front desk who helped us switch rooms, they were helpful and accommodating but the noise prevails through the whole hotel. The Good! It's a clean hotel with an above average continental breakfast, they have all your typical things: pastries, eggs, bread, bagels etc. But everything they did have was really good. The rooms are relatively spacious, come with an apple TV and mac computer to use. Free Wi-Fi, great location. We walked almost everywhere. Also right near a metro station if needed. The bathrooms were clean and nice, the shower is very spacious. However, the shower wall is glass, so if you are sharing the room with others you're not as comfortable with it's hard for multiple people to utilize the bathroom. Parking was about a block away in an underground lot, costing 22 CAD a day (if you buy the tickets from the hotel, otherwise if you buy them from the lot, it is 25 CAD a day.

Nice clean rooms. Have apple TV and iMac in the room. Bed is comfortable and nice thick blankets. Whole hotels looks renovated. Breakfast is a little light but is included with the room.

My in-laws booked 2 nights at Hyatt Regency Montreal for $520 breakfast ($16/person) not included. I got the better value with the more modern and clean Le Dauphin $434 good breakfast inclusive. A buffet with boiled eggs, breads, spreads, fresh mini croissants, fruit, yogurt and consistent great coffee! With a 3 year old in tow, a spick and span room is a definite plus. Just take a look at the photos of the rooms on Le Dauphin Montréal web site and then imagine your child rolling around on those ancient Hyatt carpets. The choice is easy. Pros: iMac in our room! Smart eco-friendly rooms with LED lights, motorized roller shades helped us get a good nights sleep, patient and friendly staff, reception sold me discount payment chits for underground parking at Palais des congrès which is much safer than the outdoor lots. Cons: no swimming pool like the Hyatt.

Neat and clean. Central location. You do not need a car to go around. Can cover everything by metro. Good staff. Over all a nice place.
