Where to begin. Checking in was okay. Booked a room for 2 infants and they put us upstairs. Lots to bring up. Upon entering our room, it was clear someone was smoking in the room next to us, there was bodily fluid stains on the carpet, sheets and shower curtain. The physical tub was stained as well so neither member of my family of 4 used it. The free breakfast is terrible. The worker who’s in charge of topping up the powered eggs and microwave bacon kept getting in our way, almost like we were in her way of making our plates. This is a hotel you’d bring your mistress or escort to, not your family. Won’t be returning.

Breakfast was average, check-in lady and chef was nice. The location is not bad either, restaurants & shopping is nearby. But there were too many things wrong with this Comfort Inn. Been to other ones that were good, but this was extremely below par. The carpet was dirty, smelled like cigarettes in our non-smoking room. The room was very dim. There were bugs in the room, spider webs, the beds were small (feet were going over the bedside), the digital clock didn't work (wouldn't even show the time), there's not even a gym, and they overcharged us for the below-quality service and amenities we received. The check-out guy was also rude, adding to the already ruined experience.

It's recently renovated… If not well maintained. It's spacious with lots of parking. The rooms were large and clean. Breakfast was great although to mention one of the 2 waffle machines was turned off about an hour before breakfast ended. My partner filled the machine and the worker seemed annoyed that he didn't know it was off (there was no indication) she was polite about it but you could tell she was annoyed. It happened again about 7 minutes later so maybe leave both machines on until service is over. Other wise the hotel is great and pet friendly.

Good looking rooms. Microwave and fridge. Patio type doors on main level. Breakfast 0630 to 10 a. M. They were accommodating when request made for a room close to breakfast room and handicap parking. Bathtub has a handle to help with balance.

Stayed here for business. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. Coffee was downright terrible. The front service staff was polite, and an excellent help. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I would stay again, but I would plan to have Timmy's in the morning.

It is a very good option to stay overnight, however I have visited comfort inn in the past because I travel a lot and it has always been very clean though this time the cleanliness level was at an all time low. They blamed it on their new cleaning staff, so I would recommend to whoever stays there to double check if everything is clean.

It was really nice. Just kinda disappointed with how early the breakfast closed. But the room felt like a small apartment. It was very cozy!

Bed was comfortable and room was clean. I heard ambulances and highway traffic all night which was not cool. The room was also chilly and did not seem to have temperature control.

Pretty descent. Room kind of smelled but I think it was from the heater. Clean enough I guess. Might look for a different place to stay should I go back.

Very comfortable and clean. However had a problem with the toilet. Dirty between seat and cover. They did come and cleaned it.

Clean beds and fair price. Breakfast is good. Eggs and ham and fruit selection. Not much to chose from but decent for the price. Staff is nice.

Close to highway and restaurants. Friendly staff, and seem to genuinely enjoy working there and helping guests. The hotel is pretty dated and could use some updates, but the price is reasonable and it's a good spot overall.

Great staff. Great breakfast and clean comfortable rooms will stay again.

Average sized room. Was clean and comfy. Continental breakfast was subpar. Beds were too short.

This hotel was close to the Thunder Bay airport that we were flying out of so we were happy with the location and the price as well. Rooms were clean and comfortable as well.

Planned to stay here but the man at the front desk had no public relations skills and a poor attitude, so we left and checked in across the road at the Best Western and it was superb… and wonderful fellow (Alex) at the front desk…

First impressions where good. The staff was polite and thorough. There didn't seem to be an elevator but it is only two stories. The carpeting and wall covering all looked new in the hallways, and they smelled fresh and looked clean. The room was clean, everything was tidy and fresh looking. Carpets felt clean. Room smelled good. There was a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Our room was a queen with love seat sized sofa and desk. Breakfast is what you generally expect, scrambled eggs and bacon, make your own waffle, toast, cerial, yogurt, cold hard boiled eggs, tea, coffee, oj and apple juice. Over all, I would stay here again.

Thunder Bay Comfort Inn is always a good place to stay. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. The hot breakfast is decent.

I stayed at Comfort Inn in Thunder Bay for three nights. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and my request for an extra blanket was easily accommodated with very pleasant service. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best I've had, the room was cleaned constantly and the staff greeted you with a friendly 'good morning'. I would definitely stay again if I was in the city. Thank you.

Reasonably priced. Good side room, clean and comfortable. Near the airport, but that's 10-15 min away from downtown.

No elevator so my grand mother could not stay, it was expensive, and no unique features to make up for it. I would suggest Hampton Inn or Best Western.

Breakfast was good. The staff were responsive with making sure items were refilled as needed. Or only complaint was the two loaves of bread we found in the drawers of the dresser. I hope from the previous guest, but not sure how long they had been there. They were expired that day.

I went to Thunder Bay for an extended weekend. I had a comfortable stay at Comfort Inn and the people there were very helpful. I did a lot of hiking and sight seeing, so it was nice to have a quiet place at night.

Motel located ready from the airport, modern and clean room, courteous and professional service.

Stuff was nice. Breakfast good enough. Room had a sweaty smell, TV remote was all sticky. Also found an old stinky pizza in a fridge… The bed and bedding was terrible — seemed like the pillows had been filled up with old clothes.

Nice staff, but for good service lots of things to inprove…

Rooms weren't clean, breakfast was dismal, bedding was sub-par, a/c was noisy, staff were odd, and accommodating late check out wasn't possible. Blah.

We stayed at Comfort Inns in Davison, MI, North Bay, ON, Sturgeon Falls, ON during our most recent trip and were very pleased with these three facilities. Our experience at the Comfort Inn, Arthur Street, Thunder Bay was something else entirely. The hall-way on the second floor is stained and filthy, our room had food crumbs on the carpet, the face cloth in the bathroom appeared as if someone had cleaned up a mess somewhere… it certainly had not been our room. I was trailering our boat and had to unhook to park in this congested parking lot. We stayed awake half the evening to keep an eye on our boat and new pickup, due to the number of young men who were cruising the parking lot from the seedy looking hotel that abutts these parking facilities. We will never book Thunder Bay Comfort Inn, Arthur Street again! " Disgusting to say the least. "

Terrible Terrible Terrible place. They have no sauna, no gym, no facilities what so ever. Location is good, and breakfast is decent but after a day or two you will get bored of it. The staff was extremely friendly however the Wi-Fi IS A LIE!. There is no high speed Wifi that "FREE". You actually have to pay 7 dollars a day for that service. However there is "Free Wi-Fi" Which does not even have the speed to load a Youtube Video at 250p. If you really want to stay somewhere, go to the Best Western Plus. Yes the location might be far, but its worth every single km.

Maybe this will be the last Comfort Inn I stay at. Typical mediocrity, except for the breakfast, which was downright terrible. 4/10
