Does not feel like a 2 star, plenty of parking, the receptionists Emily and Martina were great, room was spotless, bed was extremely comfortable, breakfast was decent but it's located near quite a few restaurants that deliver really fast. I recommend toppers pizza! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Thunder Bay only because of my stop here, only tip is to try getting a room as far away from the ice machine on the first floor, every 5-10 minutes some sort of water tank pressurized itself for a few seconds at a time. Not a deal breaker by any means.

Room was clean, comfy and had a back door access to the back parking lot. This made it very convenient for our pets. Location is great as it's near the highway. Would recommend to any pet owner.

Great location. Comfy bed. Good size room, decent breakfast. No complaints, no surprises at all.

Clean, comfortable room. The staff was friendly and the location turned out to be really good for what we wanted to do while in Thunder Bay.

Sort of pet friendly. You need to sign a paper that you won't leave your pet alone in the room. Doubt I will stay there again.

Nice and handy to the airport. Rooms was very clean and comfortable. Did not have an opportunity to have breakfast as we had an early flight but will be staying there again on our return.

The staff at this location were awesome! They were very friendly and professional. They went out of their way to answer some of the questions that I had and looked into some they couldn't answer. This is the kind of service I enjoy when I go to a hotel.

We stay here all the time. I have a small dog and I appreciate the staff when I ask for the back of the building. They are thoughtful and very friendly.

Nice quiet and modern hotel, comfy beds. Paid $8 extra for 'business' room on top floor, less noise and a bit bigger. Tyler at the front desk looked put out when I walked in, and I don't think he looked up once while serving me. I suspect he was playing video games. Breakfast was good, and breakfast staff were friendly and helpful.

Pleasant staff. Clean hotel. I am there for business travel at least once a month. Nice and close to the airport.

About what youd expect for 130 dollars, clean rooms nice layout ground floor rooms have outside access for ease of entry. Wifi is slow as per hotel norms Location good right in the middle of town so you dont have to go far to grab stuff Shower has good pressure and hot water Eco friendly cleaning options for multi night stays if your into that kind of thing.

Great little hotel, nice rooms that were very clean. Nice big soaker style bath tub. Hotel has a gym, few computers to use off of the lobby and a great little continental breakfast. Breakfast had ham, little premade omelettes, coffee, juice and all the other breakfast goodies. The hotel has a nice view from the forward facing rooms of the "sleeping giant" (mountain sized rock formation out in the lake, its actually really neat as it is so unexpected and out of place)

Hotel is fairly new. It is located near the airport, so it is a bit of a drive to restaurants etc. The taxi service in Thunder Bay is extremely POOR and COSTLY… call far ahead. It would be helpful if hotel provided somewhat of a "taxi" service for its patrons. Overall, however, it was a very good experience and very clean. A continental breakfast is complimentary, as is the fitness room.

I like the chain of hotels. It doesn't matter which one I stay at, the staff is always friendly and helpful. The Crossroads provides an excellent service.

During our stay the room was not cleaned well, the staff clearly unhappy/indifferent and the breakfast sub-par. I heard that this place is switching over to a business class hotel. If this is true, they have a looooong way to go.

This is my new favourite hotel in TB. HUGE room with living room suite and separate bedroom, each with their own tv. Couldn't hear air traffic even though airport just across the street. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very clean, spacious room. LOTS of towels. All staff friendly and helpful. Well lit hallways.

Visited thunder bay for a conference for a night, the rooms were good, weather was too cold so even the rooms were very cold. Overnight was good, comfy. The staff was friendly and convenient. Parking is also easy and safe. Pricing in terms of room was fine. Must stay if you are just here for 1 night and don’t wanna spend much for a sleepover. I’d say 4.

Location is a bit of a drive from downtown but super close to the airport. Very nice hotel with a free breakfast that exceeded my expectations. The beds were super comfortable and the rooms were nice. Our shower wasn't cleaned prior to our arrival but when we brought the issue to front desk's attention the issue was righted immediately. Aside from the shower, everything else was very clean. Definitely would stay again!

Good location and easy walking distance to local restaurants. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast has standard fare, area was kept clean and well stocked.

Good staff. Good rooms. Slightly better than average bathrooms. Great breakfast room staff. Competitive breakfast (waffles with fruit sauces, scrambled or omlett, sausage or ham, plus the average hotel usuals). Competitive pet fees. Crappy gym. One elevator.

The room was clean and nice. Liked the bathtub. Breakfast was pretty good. Housekeeping almost walked in when I was pooping but that wasn't their fault.

Very pleased! Customer service was excellent when I arrived very late to Thunder Bay and most hotels were booked. Forgot a few toiletry items and the hotel staff were extremely accommodating and even provided a late check out if I needed. Would definitely recommend this hotel as it is very clean, friendly and quiet. :-)

Very quick service to get checked in at front desk, the room was very clean, unfortunately I found there was little to choose from for the complimentary breakfast and the muffins were really dry…, all the staff was extremely friendly… they had even kept a forgotten item in a very safe place till we came back to pick it up. Really enjoy the downstairs rooms as they have a door to the outside parking lot which makes it very convenient for loading and unloading luggage and quick access to your vehicle… will definitely stay again!

The hotel rooms are really nice (especially on the third floor) and very comparable to what u will see or even better at holiday in it Hampton in but at a much better rate. With a full lether couch, work station, microwave, a fridge on top of all the standard futures you can't go wrong. Start of the art room and immaculate clean room. The boys and girls at the desk are very friendly, breakfast is great and nice little exercise room. I was very satisfied overall. They only improvement I would have recommended would be the friendliness of the breakfast room staff… they are not welcoming at all and some times I did have some slowness in the Internet. But would definitely recommend it… they just need to get the ladies at the breakfast room to get a bit friendly and welcoming or replace them.
