It's the worst college. I've been there for January session in Office Admin — health services. The teachers after letting us buy books started demotivating and told us to drop the course. When I dropped the course they gave me 300 bucks back out of 7000 bucks! It was there fault they asked us to drop the course and didn't even return the fee. The staff is so rude. This college is just in the process of making money and nothing else.

Just as good as Queen's, but cheaper.

People on here are stupid. There is nothing wrong with this school. Most staff do a great job! Excellent support staff!

Worst school I have ever attended. Who takes attendance for classes anymore? We are adults, I can't believe a teacher threatened to fail me because I missed classes when my grades were fine! What is this elementary school? They don't even have summer classes for BsCN course and don't even get me started on the dorm situation. I attended 2 years out of a 4 year program. I always get a bad taste in my mouth when I think about how poorly the BsCN program is managed from the program coordinator to the instructors. They are very knowledgeable but they do very little to motivate the students and instead of helping you achieve your goals they vilify you if they don't like you; lots of favoritism. One instructor had to nerve to tell me that I will "never get anywhere in life" because I was not attending classes. I learn well on my own and by reading the material as opposed to listening to someone who is basically reading the same thing out of the book and the lecture notes. I ended up dropping out and I went to Sheridan College followed by university. It has been 6 years and I am now a successful teacher, who just finished a graduate degree. One of these days I want to go back to that instructor who said I will never make it and show her my progress, it was very disheartening to get very little support from them. They made me feel stupid and like a failure when it was not true because I went to another school after and graduated with a GPA of 4.0.

Decided that Kingston would be a nice change up from Ottawa. Boy was I ever wrong. I joined a chat group on Facebook for people attending St. Lawrence that were staying in dorms. I thought it would be a great way to get to know new people before even living there. It was indeed a great idea and talked with a lot of new people. After talking about partying I got a message from the dorms running manager that I should not be promoting drinking in the dorms and such. I told her okay thats fine I wouldn't but she shouldn't be reading all our Facebook messages as those are private to students. When I got to the dorms they placed me in the room beside the front desk and security is. The bathroom inside our room was literally right beside sum ones office that we could hear talking all day long. Ever tried to study for a big test when sum ones yelling almost all day? Everyone that I had talked with were on higher floors than us and there was sum very inappropriate things going on but security didn't do anything about them. Just because we were placed right beside security we were always the one getting into trouble. They even took our packs of beer for bringing it in — we were all legal they had no right to do that. I then sat down with the dorm manager and she said I shouldn't be promoting drinking in dorms — if I'm legal I should be allowed to drink no matter. I was not giving it to anyone under age just our friends in dorms that were all legal.

It is one of the best place to study and enjoy.

I'm in the culinary program and I have been enjoying, tons of great people and it's easy to navigate.

Great faculty and management, always some kind of event going on for the student body!

Can I know reviews about computer science… Then I will give 5 stars.

SLC is awesome. Great staff, great teachers, always helpful and tidy.
