Room was very clean but spartan. Bathroom was one big shower. After shower had to wade through water that would "flood" the bathroom all the way over to the toilet & sink. Bed was comfortable. Wish there was a breakfast included. Price was a bit high for room with no breakfast.

Service was very good considering it's a motel. I was able to book a room with a 1-hour notice. The room was very clean and the same can be said for the bathroom. The only issue I could see is that the rooms are a bit pricey.

Generally speaking, the room was very clean. The beds were comfortable. I felt though that I was sleeping in a dorm room! (no closet, only hooks with hangers, platform bed etc) It was nice to have the coffee/tea bar downstairs and tables/chairs to sit there. We thought it was closer to downtown, which it wasn't. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Our check in was immediate with two staff members efficiently and cheerfully working at the front desk. As always a very clean room with a spacious bathroom. The large and deep bathtub was used as a soothing relaxation after a very busy day. The bed was comfortable and I had a good night's rest with no noise from the hallway or neighbouring rooms. The internet was much faster than what I have at home. Coffee in the breakfast area was simply terrible.

Super nice facility, nicer than many pricier brands. I appreciate the free Wi-Fi. They also provided tasty muffins in the morning. The room, of course, was spotless, quiet, comfortable, etc.

The room was cleaned but shampoo, soap and a bath mat had not been left in the room. Everything was there the second day of my stay. Also an open can of an alcoholic cooler was still in the fridge. The fridge hardly kept things cool and the power button on the TV remote seems ready to fail. (TV kept turning itself back on if you held the power button a little too long. It was still good value for money when you are travelling with pets.

A dog was lonely in room 216 all the afternoon on Saturday and barked ALL the afternoon. We called the reception, but nothing changed… There was also a party until 4:00AM on the second floor, a family in my ringette team occupied the room close to them… and asked to change room at 2:00 AM because of the noise… unacceptable…! In addition there was a security guard on site… but no effect!

Honestly, we will never stay at a Motel 6 ever again. Drove 2 1/2 hours and arrived at the Motel 6 with our 86 year old father and 82 year old mother to attend a wedding in the Kingston area. Arrived early and spoke to the lady at the front desk to ask her what would be the earliest time that we could check in. Gave her our last names and without checking anything she told us our check in time would be 3pm and no earlier. At 3pm we would be catching our bus to go to the wedding-this didn't give us anytime to even dress for the wedding. She wouldn't discuss it and was extremely rude. I went back to our vehicle-told my husband and we left to get our father some food since he is Diabetic. My husband left us at the restaurant to go back to Motel 6 to re-discuss. We only wanted 1 room for our parents to rest. My husband got back about 1/2 later with 2 rooms but I this was not a pleasant discussion. This time he spoke to the Manager who was more rude than the lady at the desk. Wow what an experience. They indicated that this is what happens when you book a room at the last minute-our room was booked early January-this is what you call last minute? Finally we get to our room and we have a bed and pull out couch. The lady at the desk indicated that is what we booked but our January document indicates 2 queen beds.

Perfect place for a few nights. It's clean with friendly staff and comfortable beds. A good 'no frills' option.

The rooms where nice, and I really liked the no carpet in the rooms. Staff was courteous and friendly. The downside is not having a meeting space to accommodate groups when they come over (we were on site for a hockey tournament, so à few meeting spaces far from the rooms where guests can go and mingle would be great. Also, having some sort of restaurant or canteen would be a good addition. The bedroom walls were very dusty. Not only in my room, but other parents also commented on it. But overall, I enjoyed my stay.

Personnel was nice and courteous. Room was nice and clean but cold and there was no extra blanket available. The heater/fan was noisy. There was also quite a bit of noise because the room was next to one of the back doors, which was banging every time someone was going in or out, until late at night and starting around 5 in the morning.

The mattresses could be softer. The women at the front counter were nice an beautiful I might add. Rooms were very clean.

Walls are paper thin. Very noisy in rooms. Rooms are cheap. Quality inn and suites that is located next door is a far better option.

My wife and I found the pillows considerably softer than what we are use to, however I would definitely stay in that motel again. The coffee and muffins were also a nice touch. Thank you for that.

Small room but functional. Room and bathroom clean. Beautiful discovery really cheap. The bed was comfortable. In the morning they offer coffee and muffins. The only snag the Internet network runs intermittently.

Two years ago, my wife and I met under unusual circumstances, as we were stranded in a snow storm and I booked a room at your establishment. It was great back then. To celebrate our two years together and almost 1 year of marriage, we decided to come back to the same motel where we first met. We thought it would be great. But it was not. To start off, the room was disgusting. The window had dead flies all around. The hot water was excessively hot. The noise from the hallway of someone opening and closing their door was extremely loud at 6 in the morning. We could smell someone frying bacon, which we later discovered was in fact the case in room 301. Throughout the night, the fridge made a continuous shrieking noise, making it all the more difficult to sleep, let alone get any rest. There were 2 less towels that there should have been, and only 3 small pillows. At the time of check out, when I went to drop off the keys at the reception, the girl did not even acknowledge us, as she was chatting with someone else on the phone. As a common courtesy, she should at least pretend to smile and make eye contact. I am appalled by this experience and honestly I don't think I can ever see myself recommending your motel to anyone else or even coming back to your establishment. This was a terrible experience for a cost of $100+. What a shame.

I had a good stay here. Everything was clean and the front desk was helpful. The common area was a bit small. Great price.

This is one of the cleanest motel/hotel we have ever stayed. Couldn't ask for better. I like NO RUGS in my room. Staff helpful and considerate.

Stayed here one night after being unable to continue travelling due to a snowstorm. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean and the price was reasonable. Could not have asked for any more.

Location good, service fine, rooms basic and rather spartan, value very good. Rooms not very sound proof — — during my stay the people on either side of me kept me awake for a bit. Not really their fault, they were only doing normal things, but more a problem with room soundproofing.

This hotel will likely get a wide range of reviews as it is definitely different. On the positive side it is clean and new, plus the staff is very courteous. The Internet connection is also excellent. It is also well located with respect to the 401. On the negative side, the rooms are quite small with insufficient closet space. There are no carpets on the floor and not very many plugs in the room. The free breakfast is also worthless.

This is a no frills hotel that is good for a night's sleep. It is a clean and basic place to stay right off the 401. I didn't find the traffic noise to be a problem but could definitely hear my neighbours loud and clear. Since the noise was before 11pm we didn't contact front desk. I figured it wasn't their problem the walls are thin and they were having fun. That being said I would stay here again because I always travel with ear plugs. The bed was comfortable. The water pressure was lousy in the shower. If you are travelling with children I would bring a HDMI cord because the television doesn't get many stations. This isn't important to me but might be an issue if you need to entertain a young one.

Just for the muffins the next morning, it's worth the $125! Oh, and I was going to forget the Halloween Candy! Thanks to the first Motel at $6

The night staff was incredibly helpful, and courteous. (front desk) We switched rooms, because we found half dead flies on our beds and floor, and hair on the towel. The sheets were never changed. My bed was made once, but never for my coworker. Thanksgiving weekend; Flood in our room. I was told they couldn't fix it on a holiday. Office staff, wonderful. Rooms, terrible.

The value was excellent when you just need a perfect place to sleep, bath and be comfortable. The rooms were very clean, the bed was comfortable and there were extras like a microwave and fridge so it was possible to eat in the room if desired. There were 3 well — stocked vending machines in lobby and very friendly reception staff. We stayed 3 nights and have no complaints whatsoever.

The hotel and rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable enough. The room door was very noisy, as my husband smokes he had to leave the room many times, even through the night and the door woke me each time. I get the idea behind not having carpet in the room, but honestly it makes the room too sterile feeling… more like a hospital than a hotel. The floors are cold to walk on. Lack of carpet seems to amplify the noise in the rooms.

Pretty good for a very basic night stay. I haven't stayed at a Motel 6 since I was a kid, and when my last experience was a nightmare. This place is newer and quite well maintained. Just don't go expecting miracles. The walls are thin and the rooms have tiny windows that give it a closed in feel, but the property does have very friendly staff and is great value for the price. It even has a gym and free coffee/tea and prepackaged muffins for breakfast. And location wise, it is very conveniently just off the 401.

The staff was amazing and we really enjoyed having the possibility t enjoy coffee whenever we wanted. My only issue was with the cleanliness of the room. It appeared fine but as soon as we got into the bathroom, no one had bothered to vacuum (hairs and dust balls). It made me question the overall commitment to cleanliness.

Basic, Modern well priced. Despite being next to highway, it was very quiet. Rooms were modern, and clean. I did have issues with the floors… I prefer non-carpet floors, but they need to be properly cleaned. The floors in my room were gritty and a bit sticky. There was a little dust/dirt around the night stand and where they keep the TV remote, but it was minimal. Bathroom and linens were clean. Muffins and coffee are available for breakfast which is fair for the price I paid. I would stay here again and I would consider other Motel6 locations.

The washroom basin had a plug in it, that had some type of black grit on it, and when it was pushed down black bits of grit came off it. I don't know if it was mould or not but it would seem to me that if housekeeping would have put water in the sink while the plug was engaged they would have seen this and cleaned or replaced the plug. I was unable to locate a channel guide for the TV. A small thing but it certainly would have made it easier for me to select a channel to watch. Other than than that I would like to mention your employee… I believe her name is Jessica… I spoke to her twice on the phone prior to my visit. She was very professional and I found her keen and wanting to help me. I think she is a valuable employee to this hotel and appreciated the service that she gave me.

Loved the room. They put me in an accessible room because there were no other rooms available. The only drawback was there was no tub. I love the deep tubs that motel 6 usually has. Great new hotel or newly renovated. Good location just off the highway. Would gladly stay again.

We received an awesome rate when we stayed there July 1/17. The room was clean and comfortable. We were going to stay there again July 10/17 but when we called we were told the price. It was almost double than July1st price. We decided to stay at the best western on Princess St which cost some what more but service and motel was excellent.

This was our first time staying here and we were a little nervous. My husband has MS and is in a wheelchair and we have had some bad experiences at other hotels that claim to have wheelchair accessible rooms. To our surprise and delight this was not the case with Motel 6 Kingston! The room was spacious and the bathroom large enough for my husband to move around in as well as having a roll in shower. The bed was low enough that he didn't have trouble getting in and out. This made our trip to Kingston a wonderful time. Also, the staff is so friendly and helpful, it was a great stay!

I have to give this place 5 stars because the value for the price was way better than I was expecting. Though the room and facilities are basic, we had everything we needed. Plus it is spotlessly clean and everything in perfect condition. Room amenities are plentiful, with a TV with hookups for your devices, microwave and fridge. Please see pics. There are NO CARPETS which is great for cleanliness and allergies! Facilities include a small workout room with TV, laundry, food and drink vending machines (with travel needs also) and a free coffee and tea counter. There are a few tables in that area as well as picnic tables outside. The girl at the desk was polite, professional, helpful, sweet and friendly. The hotel is kind of new at just 7 years old so still has that fresh new feel to it. Also it is so convenient just off the hwy 401. Of course the price was the best part at $106 for the night. Truely a fantastic deal! A lovely surprise in the morning was a muffin to go with your coffee. This was my first stay at a Motel 6. I will definitely try other locations of this chain in my travels of the future.

The location of the hotel is well outside the center of Kingston but not too far if you have a car. The rooms were clean and had decent space.

Much better than expected! The room was clean, comfortable and modern looking. They let me check in early and check out late, the flexibility was appreciated. Great value for the price!

Stayed at the new Kingston Motel 6. Very nice, new, well appointed. The blankets were a little thin, but it was the coldest night of the year, so we couldn't really complain.

Without carpeting it was quite cold on the feet and the beds were a bit hard but at the same time the price was great!

Not a great stay but it did the trick for a night. I surely would not have wanted to stay any more than that though. The rooms are poorly furnished and noisy. The lack of carpeting likely does reduce the amount of dirt and possibility of mold but there is a trade off in the amount of noise from room to room. The biggest complaint I have is that the site advertises an outdoor pool but there isn't one on site. I wouldn't have been so upset if it was off season and the pool was empty but false advertising really upsets me. (note ; Amenities list has been revised since my comment was posted. Customer service was clearly sorry for the misunderstanding and quickly took the steps to correct the error with their webpage. )
