Guest house on the mount is a beautiful and tranquil place to stay the staff are fantastic, helpful and kind I can't say enough good things about my stay here!

Super accommodating and friendly staff! They genuinely care about their guests and go above and beyond to meet their needs. There's definitely a sense of welcomeness and warmth.

A life saver for my husband and I as we have been here for almost a month. The place is great with kitchen facilities to accommodate long term stay! It is clean, beds are comfortable and the staff go above and beyond to accommodate! I definitely recommend Guest House on the Mount.

This place reminds me more of a student residence than a hotel. I believe it would be more suitable for long-term stays, those visiting loved ones in the nearby medical facilities, or students wanting to be near the UWO campus. For example, I had to use a communal shower as my room did not have an individual stall, but there was also a nice communal kitchen and living room area. But, overall, my room was clean and the staff were very approachable and accommodating. Also, just note that if you're taking the bus the hotel is a relatively steep 5-10 minute walk from the main road.

I stayed the night before surgery and Husband is spending the week here. The building is old but very clean, well matained. Bed was very comfortable. Nice having a kitchen to use instead of going broke with restaurants.

Excellent hostel/guest house. Not all guests will like sharing a bathroom or kitchen area, but it comes with some distinct advantages if you are interested in chatting with fellow guests. The price is certainly excellent and the views and walking trails are amazing. The only downside I can think of is the lack easy access to the downtown core or food places without a vehicle. Overall, it is a great place for a great price with stellar views and exercise opportunities.

Very clean, comfy beds, but shared showers between guests are not my thing. Just would be nice if they would supply shampoo and not just bars of soap. Other than that it's not too bad!

It's No Frills accommodation. Cheaper than the hotels around here but expensive for what you get. If you don't mind the hostel-like environment (some rooms have no toilets/bathrooms; there are communal kitchens), it's OK for a night but you need a car to get around as there are no amenities close by. The grounds and the setting, however, are just stupendous. I only stayed for 1 night with 2 friends because decades ago, we were students when part of the facility (facing Richmond St. ) was a Catholic private, boarding school run by nuns and we were reliving our memories. We believe that Ignatia Hall was used as an infirmary for the nuns. The wide doors, the size and furnishing of the rooms and the simple / basic design all speak to its past usage.

I love that the Mount is walking distance to University Hospital. Spending all day at the hospital, while my husband recovers from heart surgery. It was nice to come back to the mount for a good night sleep.

There was no bathroom in our room which was not made clear when booking. We were also informed only upon entering our room that the night and morning we were there, they would be testing fire alarms and random people would be coming into our room without notice to work on the windows. Needless to say we checked out almost immediately.

Great to find a comfy bed in the middle of the night after waiting with a loved one at UH. Not big on amenities but adequate and quiet. It's a place where one can store and prepare food if necessary. Price is reasonable. Within walking distance to University Hospital for longer stays.

I've been here a couple times now, once in a family sweet, and this time in a queen and half bathroom. It's not a "get what you pay for" situation because the price is high either way. It's not accommodating for shampoo and Such things alike, and the cleanliness of the rooms/place is lacking. The area is convenient for those traveling to the hospital and university, although unless you have a car while you stay here, options for food nearby is very limited. I have to travel to London regularly, and I will be booking my stay elsewhere next time. For the price, accommodation, and overall feel of this place, I'm convinced I won't change my mind.

It was great met all the requirements simple but pleasant easy excess to the University Hospital only a 13minute walk.

Awesome place to stay in if u r on a budget. The only thing that burgers me is that there is no stove in the kitchen.

Very tranquil and made for a lovely getaway. My only qualms was the rather large liquid stain on the carpet in my room. It was likely from snowy boots but not pleasant to look at. The kitchen was well equipped and the sitting room was quite beautiful. The rooms are not very sound proof however the guests were quite respectful.

Eeeewwww found hair AND pube hair everywhere on beddings & sheets this whole building smells like barf notice how every single picture on here is staged — — staged don't show you smells overall a super industrial vibe; shared complex with retirement home and whatnot; third time I've had to repark my car; the elevator smells like a garbage chute, and even though I'm inches from my room at the front desk, I've had to go back out, drive 5 miles around the entire complex, just so I could walk into the backside of where I was 20 minutes ago. I feel like I'm on a corporate campus back at work. I've already spent 20 mins getting lost driving in circles just to find the place; nobody wants to spend another 40 mins after that driving in circles being led to butcher shop alleys to find the *right* parking this place *LITERALLY* feels like a cross btw a landfill, a mechanics shop, an industrial warehouse … welcome to the butcher shops what good is free Wi-Fi when there isn't even a desk or a chair? talk about horrible ergonomics I feel like I'm a patient in a hospital bed walls are *PAPER* THIN. Can hear partiers from ACROSS THE HALL cackling past midnight, and every one of my neighbor's conversations doors have no dampeners. Feels like I'm sitting next to a stairwell, just listening to doors slam I can EVERYTHING EVERY footstep going by in the hallway; cars a HONKIN in da parking lot reading light is florescent colored — — SERIOUSLY who wants to go to bed with a melatonin disruptor!?

Clean and reasonably priced. The staff was courteous and helpful. The TV was a little small but useable.

It's a beautiful and quiet place for travellers on a budget. It's very close to Western University and the hospital. Decore is a little faded and I used to bring my own pillow when I stayed here, as I found theirs uncomfortable. It has a nice lounge with a view of the river, trees and downtown. They do not offer breakfast but they do provide a shared kitchen area and fridge for longer term guests to use. Most rooms do not have individual showers, but the shower stalls on each floor are clean and well maintained. Be sure to bring your own toiletries. Staff are very kind and helpful. Parking is (or was, when I stayed) free. Wi-Fi very good. For the price, this place is perfect if you need to stay in London close to the hospital.

Noever stayed there yet but interesting look at maybe next time I'm a check it out.

I really liked this place. I didn't mind sharing a bathroom. The place was clean and much nicer than most hotels I have stayed at.

Great spot… very convenient to the University Hospital… would definitely recommend to anyone needing to be near the Hospital.

It's reasonably priced, close to the University Hospital, and a short drive from anything else.

Main entrance /wheelchair accessible is at the back of the building. Friendly helpful staff, clean rooms, great view of the Thames river from the lounge, free coffee from 6 — 11 a. M. In the 2nd floor kitchen, large kitchen (ette) with 2 induction burners, a toaster oven, dishwasher, & 2 fridges on each floor. My room has a small fridge, and half bath. Shared shower & bathrooms on each floor. Shared balcony. Close to University Hospital and Western University.

Surrounding environment is beautiful and leisure. Good-equipped kitchens and kids facilities are good for family visitors. BTW, facilities inside the room are old, and number of room with full bathroom facilities is only 6, others need to share the bathrooms.

Simple but clean and cozy. Has a great kitchen, too, which is convenient. Nice staff & complimentary tea and coffee.

Good, just make sure you understand the showers are shared and that some rooms have no washrooms at all. Otherwise ok-large rooms, clean, a bit worn.

My son loves it and could live there for as long as he could. Hates it when we leave. The price is great and we love staying here. We also love recommending it to other people.

A great, economical facility for those caring for patients at nearby University Hospital! Being a carer can be stressful enough, without long travel time or expensive lodgings nearby. This place is not fancy, but clean, cheap and handy.

This is a great option for those needing a overnight stay while at University hospital or long term if needed. It is only a few minute walk on well lite paths and in a very quiet area. They are also an affordable place to stay if just in London visiting. Very clean, with helpful friendly staff.

Small rooms but a great place especially if you are interviewing at one of the hospitals. Free coffee is always available also!

Fantastic place! Couldn't really fault anything at all over my 10 day stay! Even though I paid on the most basic rate they offer, my experience with them and the staff was faultless. Would very much recommend this lovely and affordable guest house.
