Stayed here last weekend. Location was great, close to the beach and restaurants. We had a room with a kitchenette. Room looked newly renovated and was clean. Staff was helpful with directions. Awesome weather. Planning to come back for the long wknd.

My family and I stayed in a suite at Edgewater Inn last weekend. The weather was great and the beach and the restaurants was just a short walk. The kitchen appeared new and there was 2 nice looking bathrooms. It was really comfortable for the family and we will definitely be returning a few more times throughout the summer. We love our Wasaga Beach getaways.

Great stay in a renovated room with little kitchen and an updated spacious shower. They also had a nice outdoor area with picnic tables, bbqs and a fire pit. I love the close proximity to the main beach and all the restaurants.

Very clean, well kept and a cute little place to stay by the beach for a weekend getaway!

Friendly staff that helped make our experience so enjoyable! We will definitely be back! Would 10/10 recommended!

Omg. Way over priced and this place is a dump.

This was our first time here and def the last. Room smelled like a homeless person had been living in it for weeks. Serveral holes in walls and ceilings, we plugged them with toilet paper as we were warned bt others of possible cameras in them. Pretty sure there was a protitute and her pimp in the room next to us, loud noises and screams randomly kept us up all night. Didn't feel to secure in our room as door frame looked like it had been kicked in several times. On the bright side room was so disgusting even the bed bugs didn't want to stay. And if you forget your drugs, don't worry you can pretty much find anything you need on site. Staff is very helpful.

This place was honestly so beyond awful. Booked the hotel for a group of 7 through another website and all of a sudden as we are all sitting down this lady comes out screaming and yelling about not having wristbands (no one else in the entire resort had them). She refuses to give out any more than 6 wristbands because apparently the room is only for 6 and it's too bad for us that we thought we were booking for 7. She then has the 7th person and some friends who weren't staying at the hotel kicked off the property and waiting on the sidewalk. She screamed at our friends who were not booked to stay at the hotel and offered as the only solution for them to buy day passes for a couple of hours to sit on their measly picnic bench. She was trying to charge them $70 each for this pass. I have never experienced this kind of disrespect from someone who happily accepted $350 for ONE NIGHT for the worst motel I have ever stayed at in my life. On top of that, as we were checking in, another guest came in saying that he found pools of blood in the sheets of his bed. Take that as you will, I didn't see it for myself but this is the kind of place they are running. Do not stay here it is horrible.

Ewww! Hairs in the bed! Bathroom smelling of mould. The owner should be ashamed of this! We arrive here and pay such a large fee for a maisonette that sleeps 6. It had one double bed and 2 awful futons. The staff were helpful but could not take responsibility, they tried to help but, Dave, the manager really didn't care about customer satisfaction. Such a shame! The manager would even sisal to me on the phone, the only way to contact was with email. I think this place will be shot down soon…

The location was great. There was barely enough parking available and being blocked in was a daily/nightly occurence. The amenities were bad. Couldn't shower because the shower was old and moldy. The bathroom had spider webs. Both beds were hard, lumpy, and uncomfortable. The room was always humid and smelled musty, but the windows couldn't be kept open because the screen was torn open and being Street level it felt completely insecure. The staff was very nice and helpful, including calling before arrival to confirm the ETA. Stay there if you don't plan on spending any time in the room outside of sleep.

Horrible… Front desk staff very rude Couldn't handle checking in a group Locked the front door … Proceeded to tell this group that they would sit in their air conditioned office and have them wait outside in the heat As a parent I couldn't believe this was happening! They took over 31/2 hours to process thus group! Some were given accommodations that sleep 6 for 8 people! And were told to take it and were abruptly kicked out of the office! Poor service!

Terrible. Was lied to about room size. Was told there were 2 double beds and a futon, arrived with another couple to see a futon and a bunk bed… the top being a single.

Well… All I can say is "NOT AS ADVERTISED" this place is run by uneducated idiots with no conception for customer service, above all else they are scam artists beware. Rooms sucked, the bed frames are made out of 2X6 wood planks and broken! The lady working the front desk full out told me she doesn't know how to work the payment and refund machine. They have a gung hoe rent a cop that secures the area at night. He also tried to just walk into our room to talk to one of the people in our group. (Without knocking or asking) it was our friend outside having a smoke that stopped him from actually opening the door and walking in. They discriminate anyone under the age of 30? They have all these "Rules" that apparently they believe over rules any Consumer Act laws. Bottom line is we are all mature adults close to 30 some of us over 30. We spent good money to celebrate and enjoy a friends birthday weekend at the beach, and in the end we got shafted our money and deposits, they tried making us pay for two extra persons. Most importantly we were not treated like customers, we were treated like criminals. Its disappointing this is Canada, it is suppose to be a fun place and I would love to support these little places, but we just get screwed here. Next time ill be taking me and my money to Myrtle beach or somewhere fun and not overpriced. Fuck this place!

It's cozy and cheap but weird lol.

I don't think they know what the definition of customer service is, Stayed two nights. Wifi didn't work as promised. A/C was broken, asked to speak to a manager or have a phone number I could call and they refused either option. Even though through all of this I referred my brother to come up and stay there as well. And when I inquired about staying a third night and the deal that was stay 2 nights and get the third half off, there was no compromise that we didn't book all three at the same time. As someone else was in line behind me saw all of this unfold they agreed that the service was ridiculous and decided to not stay there as well. So in the matter of 15 mins they lost not only one customer but two. They then proceeded to tell me to leave the property or they will call the OPP because I am hindering there business. I suggest staying at Sheridan Sands who can hardly speak English but has 100% more knowledge of how to run a business.

It was very close to the beach great location very nice customer service and cool air conditioned rooms.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS! Had the worst experience dealing with Jamie Anderson and I suppose his wife. I had booked the hotel a week in advance (one of the more expensive 12 person rooms) to go with my family for Victoria day weekend. My wife, a nurse, was forced to work that weekend; I cancelled 16 hrs after booking the room and even before he had entered my VISA information. I called to see if we could work something out understanding that there would probably be a fee, he said he was keeping my whole 50% deposit and that I would not be receiving any of the deposit back. I called back because I was unhappy with that answer and his wife picked up and was laughing, being condescending and sarcastic. Finally I got a hold of Jamie again and I told him try to rent the room and see if he can get something back for me possibly in a credit to stay another time, or even come back and rent a smaller room with the $525 deposit. He said that was a fine agreement but never called me back. I called him a week later and he said that he "didn't remember me and had to look into it" finally after restating the situation it came back to him, and he said that he "didn't care" and that I should "write a bad review, nothings gonna' happen anyway". Do not give these people your money they are crooks and honor no policies in terms of refunding or customer satisfaction!

Great units great rate & on the river with its own beach what a place!

This is a terrible place to stay, there were cockroaches in the bathrooms at the MOTEL, service is terrible… if you call 4 different times they give you 4 different prices. This place is ran by shady people… we went down for a long weekend and had a bad experience stayed for 6 hours and left. do not stay at this dump there are many nicer spots.
