Kingsbridge Inn / Bon-Air Motel Inn

My husband and I LOVE this place we have decided to come here every weekend. The owner is a sweetheart, the staff is very friendly, the locals are friendly and we had a great time. The rooms are clean with a spacious bed and cozy full kitchen, they have a beautiful pool which always seemed to be at perfect temp. Room also had a TV, air conditioner and bbq's for use which were also cleaned every day all for a great price which is more than I can say for a ton of places we checked out at Wasaga Beach. They even allowed us to bring our chihuahua. Perfect for a peaceful family cottage get away.

If you need mints on your pillow and a Caesar's Palace type getaway, this is not the place for you, but if you want to go to a place that will treat you well and provide you with a clean room for a reasonable price, this is more than likely what you are looking for. We just came back from a weekend at Kingsbridge Inn. The nature of our getaway was to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday, we took our whole family and needed space for 10 people. When we arrived, the owners where great with us and made sure that we had two rooms close together so that we could share time and meals together. They were so accommodating that they even told us that we could have a later checkout time. When our kids, (all in there mid 20's) needed towels or sheets, they were brought to them immediately. Cozy place clean room with 2 bedroom and kitchen but very outdated. Nice accommodating staff. Short walk to the beach and lots of local places in walking distance. Would stay again for the price.

Staffs amazing but showers are small n need to be upgraded.

Great friendly place very clean. Great place for kids. Staff is friendly love the gated in play ground so the kids cant take off.

Very small rooms and expensive rates in the summer. Barbecue doesn't work. Also the units smell of cigarettes. No cleaning in Shower or washroom. Not sanitized.

A very caring family / motel .

It's a boutique hotel so there is no bar or no restaurant. The place was modern and clean. All rooms have a fireplace.

Fairly pricey considering what you get. The shower is basically unusable in terms of cleanliness, but the overall room/beds were alright.

Pool is great. The vibe is easy going and relaxed.

Bathroom filled with mold, smelled something awful, floor was nasty (could only walk around in shoes), blood smears on the wall by the thermostat, horrible bed. 1st and last visit.

Horrible motel. There is nothing for added value in there if the room is not comfortable at all. Looks like a henhouse.

Great staff, and loved that there were three BBQs outside, for everyone's use. Loved the patio tables outside of the rooms, and everyone was respectable (i. E. Noise friendly). 10-15 minute walk from the main beach. The room itself wasn't horrible — clean enough. Fridge inside was a plus. However, the mattress was absolutely uncomfortable. What was really awful though was the bathroom — needs to be gutted. Shower leaked, was tiny and on a slant. Condensation constantly leaking from the toilet. Overall, good for the price, and for a short-stay!

The staff was very friendly and visited us every now and then to see if we were out of anything. They had a kitchenette and jacuzzi in the room we had. Full bath (shower stall, no tub) and had a fridge and microwave. I have two complaints though — the first is that it was next to impossible to get into the Wi-Fi. Second, the non-smoking rooms shared central air, and someone had decided to smoke in one of the non-smoking rooms and made it smell terrible in our room. They tried spraying air freshener but the smell was in the vents, and got into our clothes. Other than that, the pool was nice, 15 minute walk to the beach and cozy. Not a bad price either. Make sure to call, as they don't put all their available rooms online.

The room is what we paid for. Got a small room for 60$/night. No balcony or direct access to the outside. Not very clean. Small double uncomfortable bed. But the price is cheap so we're happy with it.

It feels like a real authentic trailer trash experience… a little shady but staff was nice. Ideal for a movie shoot of a poor down and out bloak down on his luck… maybe like Natural Born Killer part 2

I checked in at Kingsbridge Inn on July 30 for 2 days. It was a pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly when checking in and also the other staff. The grounds was clean, the rooms were nice and clean (basic room). Price was excellent for the location, walk distance to the beach, close to everything ie resturants, Tim Hortons, Walmart u can bque on the resort, feels quite like home. If u want to stay in the midst of everything, this is the place to stay. Will definitely stay there again.

Was looking for a cheap room for a night's stay before the Wasaga Beach Triathlon and got what I paid for. Small, lacking in room amenities like a microwave or coffee maker, tiny bathroom with kid-sized toilet and bathtub, and poor water pressure. Although there were signs saying the rooms were all non-smoking the smell of something burning permeated the air the night we stayed there. Had a difficult sleep there and it wasn't just pre-race jitters. Well situated however and it does feature a warm salt-water pool.

I was here 2 years ago, the price was right, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I am just writing this review now, as I am looking at booking again this summer. Not the Royal York Hotel, but everything my 2 kids and I needed for a great mini vacation in Wasaga.

We went during a long weekend. Lots of hassle on checkin: (picture id for everyone, deposit for everyone, waivers for everyone, wristbands, sign-in. ). I'm sure they have their reasons, but beware if you aren't a drunken 19yr old. Its pretty annoying.
