I stayed at this Hotel with my daughter and granddaughter in June/16. The Hotel is very well situated and has a very nice lobby and friendly staff. remember you get what you pay for. When we booked the room we requested a ground floor room as we had a 10 month old infant travelling with us and we got a second floor room which was situated at the very far end of the hallway. The Hotel had lots of guests with dogs allowed in the lobby area. REMEMBER some people allow their dogs to sleep in their beds; so some of the stains on the bed sheet could come from their dogs…. I believe this is why the hallways reek with a strong perfume/powder smell. (To hide the pets urine smell-maybe! ) The beds/pillows in our room were comfortable. The bed linens were stained and you could see a man’s palm and hand print clearly on the headboard. The Hotel supplied a hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner, soap, clean towels and face cloth; however the tub wall was very dirty. We had to clean it before bathing in it. The refrigerator, A/C, microwave and clock worked but the electricity went out during the night and the A/C stopped working and the room got very hot. The Hotel has lots of potential. Recommendations: Staff should be trained in proper room cleaning. Breakfast area should be equipped with at least 2 infant high chairs. More muffins…no donuts for breakfast please. Front desk staff should have a dress code and washed hair…. Leave hallway doors open to ventilate the place from the reek smells in the hallways. If the Hotel allows dogs it should have a large room to accommodate them and they should be in cages at night and not in Hotel beds. Would I stay at this Hotel again. Yes. I would bring my own cleaning supplies and bed linens however. You have a nice little jewel in hand …. But it needs proper management & some T. L. C. Sorry but I have to be honest. (I do have a pet and she sleeps in HER own bed — not my bed)
