The front desk fella was great. Arrived quite late and he was very friendly and ready to serve his guests. The room was very clean including the bathroom. The bed was a little too hard including the pillows. The TV is placed a little too high up. No coffee pot. There was a confrontation with one of the staff with one of the cleaning staff. We had heard while we were leaving the hotel. Not necessary to listen to it. Guests are there to enjoy their stay Steve&Stace.

Room was great. Excellent service and great location. Our dog was able to stay in the room without extra charges — big plus.

My son and I were up for a lacrosse tournament and only stayed the one night. The front desk people at check-in were super friendly, and even when we were leaving the maid asked us how we slept and if everything was good with our room! The hotel was quiet and our room was really clean. We had the continental breakfast which had everything that was meant to be hot was, and everything that should be cold was as well. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would not hesitate to stay at a Motel 6 somewhere else based on the experience from this stay. Hopefully all the rest of the Motel 6's are run in the same fashion as we will definitely stay at a Motel 6 again in other locations.

Booked my reservation for three people several weeks in advance only to be told when we arrive that they had us booked into a room with only one bed. Was told this was the only room they had left. Was not happy about having to sleep on the floor after a long hard day. My other two friends that actually got to use the bed said it has very hard and uncomfortable. The front desk staff did offer a gift certificate for a free nights stay to apologize for the mix up. If they hadn't I would of only given one star. I asked if I could use the gift certificate for this stay as I don't know when I would be back in Stony Plain again. They agreed. So thankfully my room didn't cost us anything other than a good nights sleep. Even if the reservation had not been messed up I would probably not be back here.

Front desk guy was really accommodating Location is decent, getting a bit rundown as with age and demographics. Clean tidy here on business only.

This is the place we always stay at and always will. It's clean, it's friendly and it's a pretty decent price. We really like the staff and they try hard to please. The blankets are very thin though and we bring an extra one of our own in with us. You can just turn up the heat but we like the feel of a thicker blanket. Also a coffee pot is not in the rooms and is nice to have in the morning. There is coffee downstairs available complimentary, but I don't always want to get ready to go down before I have a coffee.

Completely average, but in a good way. Quaint rooms, no bells and whistles. Room was tidy, but the bathroom could've used a mop in the corner. Service was fine. If you need a cheap place to stay for a night and aren't looking for anything luxurious, then this will do just fine.

Clean and comfortable. Great location for where we needed to be. Very accommodating of our small caged parrot.

Clean, cheerful staff. Great stay for the price, would stay again. Used their dog friendly room, right next to side entrance which was great for bathroom breaks and walks.

Good motel, I have stayed here on several occasions and I like it. Definitely not fancy but its cheap, everything always work, the staff seems to be very accommodating when I need a later check out (12 rather then 11) and have never said no. Most importantly its clean, cleanliness is the most important thing to me and this place hasn't let me down yet with that. Overall score 4/5 due to value for price and uncommon cleanliness for somewhere so affordable.

The Motel is starting to show wear and tear on the carpets now. Hallway carpets a bit dirty but room was fine. Bathrooms always Clean. Overall for a affordable motel things were fine.

Good basic room. And nice that we did not have to pay extra for our two little dogs and were given a ground floor room so it was convenient to take them out to walk.

Basic room'which is ok all you're doing is sleeping. Like it because they have rooms for pets which we had with us. Continental breakfast, basic but good. Reasonably priced.

Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Superb value for your money. Rooms are small but comfy. Guest comfort is well thought about when hotel was laid out such as location of guest laundry area, breakfast bar, even the location of the heating stations and the vending machines.

We will be staying with you again in the future, excellent place to stay! We loved the bathroom and the shower, very nice! Best pillows in a hotel room!

This was just a quick over night stop. The room was very clean and nice. Although small it was fine for what we needed.

I've always enjoyed stays at Motel 6s with my dogs. The Motel 6 in Sony Plain is perhaps the least dog friendly of the Motel 6s that I've stayed at in the past. It does have a nice area to potty dogs and the staff is very friendly.

Great value, no extra charge for pets! Only thing that could be improved is the bed, not great on the back.

We stayed on two separate occasions during a one week period. The front desk staff were very helpful, the rooms were always clean and the free breakfast area was kept clean and well stocked. Overall the experience was wonderful. We would stay again.

The service was great and the staff was very helpful in explaining the surrounding area and restaurants. I was impressed with the cleanliness and new look of the room and hotel. It was a great experience and I will stop there again.

We checked in quite late without a reservation. We were greeted by a very friendly clerk. Rooms are clean and the continental breakfast was adequate.

I always stay at Motel 6 when I'm in the city, it's cheap, clean and the staff know me by name and are always friendly. I like that I can get the Edmonton Sun for free for my Dad as it's available in the lobby for guests. I never make the free breakfast but it is available. I'm not afraid to leave my vehicle in the parking lot, the motel is next to a Dairy Queen, Boston Pizza and a Timmy's across the street. McDonalds is right across the highway also in case we want to grab a quick bite to take to our room while it's hot.

The hotel was fine; there were few issues with it. I have stayed here before, and will probably stay again when I am in Stony Plain.

Stayed here for 2 nights in 2013 and 1 night in Feb. 2016 and was very satisfied both times. The staff was wonderful, the rooms very clean and quiet and the beds were very comfortable. They supplied a great continental breakfast. We felt very safe at the Motel 6 in Stony Plain and will recommend this motel to anyone looking for a place to stay.

A great place to stay only two things no 1 the TV in the bedroom did not work no big deal the one in the other area worked so we didnot bother to mention it until we checked out. No 2 we couldnot get the temperature in the room quite warm enough but we were not in the room much during the day so didnot complane.

Inexpensive, clean and tidy. A military, and veterans discount rate is also available. The front desk staff are pleasant, courteous and very efficient. Check in has always been a breeze. A complimentary breakfast is also available in the morning. I have stayed there many times in the past… and will continue to do so in the future. When passing through Edmonton and heading west… this is my preferred over-night accommodations.

Have stayed at this Motel 6 a total of 8-10 nights and have found the staff friendly and helpful. Good cont. Breakfast. Clean premises and linens. Very affordable rates.

This particular Motel 6 was incredibly clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at this one again. Although the AC was a little rattly, our stay was pleasant.
