Good hotel compare to the price It was à good deal Room was clean. It is a quiet erea. Did not understand how the Light (the interruptor) works. Almost not hot water in the morning. Breakfast is minimal.

Some of the front desk staff is unpredictable (manager especially) and you never know what kind of mood they are about to greet you with. Apart from that. The rooms are clean and breakfast is great.

While I was checking us in, the front desk guy told my friends who were behind me to "Speak English. I don't understand you. " even though my friends were just talking to each other about plans for the day. We needed forks and some plates so we went to ask the staff for some. He thanked us for "not being thieves like the other guests" but when they noticed that my friend got more forks than he expected (there were four of us in the room so we needed more than 1 plastic fork… Duh? ) he told us that what we were doing was stealing and reprimanded us. How would you feel about being called a thief for asking for plastic utensils? Bring your own food and don't eat anything from this place. The only good thing about this place was the room which was clean. But being called a thief for plastic utensils… Wow.

Very good rates for a very convenient location near the airport! To be honest, I did not expect much when I pulled up to the hotel, but was pleasantly surprised when I got to the room! Rooms are clean, and have modern amenities and comfy beds. My only complaint is that the "hot continental breakfast" is quite lacking. When I went for breakfast (7am) the were waffles, rotten apples, some plain, dry cereal, and unappetizing looking muffins. Overall though, very happy with the stay.

Helpful personal service. VERY clean rooms. Abd just all around a friendly stay. The rooms was affordable and I was happy with stay.

Please don’t go to this hotel, the cheap deal is just not worth the nightmare… especially the park and fly deal. The shuttle to pick us up never showed. The rude front desk man Shiraz told us to wait outside for the shuttle and to not go inside as they will leave without us… refused to answer the phone after the first try… then after standing outside in Minus 30 for a hour I flagged down a taxi and took it to hotel. Buddy excuse was that he’s busy and th shuttle driver is new. The manager refused to give us our money back for room. Help yourself out pay 20 more for a better hotel/service.

It's a hotel where truckers usually stay, and it's mot some swanky place with big chandelier in the lobby, but we had to come back a day early from our stay at Banff and our room at the Super 8 was nicer than the hotel we payed almost double for at Banff. Plus they serve breakfast and the rooms have an iron and a flat screen (which our Banff room did not). It also doesn't hurt that the morning and evening clerks are super funny and attentive, as well as the other hotel staff. They just have an easy going environment that allowed us to catch up on some good sleep before our flights. They also provide a free shuttle to the airport and the shuttle driver was just as funny and attentive as the clerks. We had a great conversation with him on our ride.

Their service was the worst. Adjoining room was so noisy. The management couldn’t do anything about that. Couldn’t sleep for whole night as the person in the adjoining room was continuously on phone. Money wastage.

Very clean friendly staff good breakfast we always come back all the management expecially koisk is very accommodating and friendly would recommend to stay here.

Room was very nice. Beds super comfortable and lots of pillows provided. Quiet!

Uncourteous and nonchalant staff. The bathroom in my room was not clean, my bed was uncomfortable. Lunch the next morning was not ready as announced for 6.30 am (anyway you will not miss anything).
Ah, and pay attention to your bill. They add a charge of $2 for the safe in the room, obviously without telling you. Not very transparent as a way of doing.

Location is good. Its just a few km from the airport. My room was cold and the HVAC was loud, that said it was — 20c out. The hotel was quiet and clean when I visited. TV and internet were both good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Its just basic accommodation.

Absolute garbage. I would NEVER stay here again. This is not up to super eights usual standards. First of all, they charged twice as much for a pre-authorization than 4 star hotels. The room was the worst room I have stayed in, the only saving grace was that the bed was clean and it was too late to check into a different hotel. The bed had a small little fleece for a comforter and I was cold all night. Paper thin wall, I heard people above, below and beside me all night. I went to check out at 7am and cancel the rest of my reservation. Normally when I've stayed in hotels and had problems, they just discount the night or make it free to avoid a bad review. Not this one! They told me to go ahead and complain. Don't waste your time or money here. Spend a few bucks and go somewhere else.

Is this the most modern posh hotel? Nope. However, rooms are clean and comfortable. The five star rating is because of management and staff. Shiraj and staff go above and beyond to take care of their guests and this guest really appreciated it!

I was not happy with their customer service because the guy that attended to us was so rude. I couldn't hear what he was saying because my daughter was crying for attention but he was shouting and I explained to him I didn't like the way he spoke to me but he didn't apologize. Apart from that, the room was comfy and my children and I had a good night. Another guy that attended to us this morning was fantastic.

Nice comfortable rooms. Reasonable breafast bar in mornings. Clean an convenient location.

Clean rooms comfortable beds friendly staff only downfall of my room id noticed was no microwave in room which for me seemed odd asked staff there was one availible for guest use in lobby area.

My wife and I recently spent 10 days at this Super 8 and found the staff to be helpful and friendly, the rooms where clean and tidy. The front desk mangers where also very helpful and engaging in conversation each time we met. Special thanks to Kois who's jolly nature and quick wit started our day in the breakfast room with a laugh with his humor. The next time we return to Calgary we will stay with them again.

Wonderful hotel clean room great service so comfortable bed jus love it all time Shiraz at the counter is the best he will welcome you in the best possible way. Money spent well!

Suraj was welcoming, helpful and hilarious. We were so impressed with his service and the room was better than we expected.

Good budget hotel, clean rooms, decent temperature control. Although if all the staff was consistent in guest services, I would give more stars.

I was pleasantly surprised that this place turned out to be so good. The check-in was lovely as I ended up chatting with Shiraz for quite a while. The room has all facilities you might need plus continental breakfast is provided. Parking is available and shuttle is also provided although I did not use it. Full value for money.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! The reception staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and accomodating. The bed was more comfortable than my own at home. I found it a wonderful place to crash after an exhausting 14 hour drive. I stayed on the second floor near the elevator and contrary to previous reviews I saw no evidence of bedbugs whatsoever. The room was immaculate. I highly recommend this hotel. It was affordable, clean, and well managed. Thank you to the staff at the Super 8 calgary airport! :)

Firstly we'd like to thank Kim at the front desk for helping us out! It was our first time travelling without family and we were a bit lost! Kim helped us out immensely! Some thing about the room we liked: -Air conditioning; it was 30 above out during the day when we arrived, a little tired we decided to take a nap. The AC worked so well and kept us at a comfortable temperature. -Location: The Airport Super 8 that we stayed at was near so many restaurants and close to downtown where the rodeo is held. -Breakfast: Food was great, really liked the blueberry muffins!

It's OK! It's a super 8 so it's right in line with my expectations. Great location, free breakfast, hot shower, and a comfy enough bed. I've also stayed at various chateau's and yes, you have higher end things, but a sleep is a sleep! For under 80 bucks, it's a good deal especially if you figure the breakfast is worth 15. Staff are awesome. Shuttle service is great. Cleanliness could be improved but meh!

Where do I start. Fair rates, good staff, clean rooms I checked it with black light it was clean as it should be. The place looks little bit older but then we were here to sleep and not to buy the place. Also very comfortable mattress.

We were in this hotel today. Manager of the hotel named Suraj Shiraj was the rudest customer service rep I have ever met. I am not sure how a company would run a business with that rude manager and what influence it has on other staff. He refused to help us in most uncourteous way. A customer service rep, who is the face of the company should try to put him/herself in other person's shoes. I will not recommend this hotel to family or friends anymore. Thank you.

I only stay for 1 night, good price and the room was clean, very nice peaple at the front desk.

If you don't mind finding hair in the quilt or stains on the bedding, then this hotel might be for you. The front desk staff were very nice, as was the price, but the lack of cleanliness of the accommodations made me feel like I gave away a peice of my soul. Overall fine for a one night stay.

BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS! Not a great place to stay, 99% sure that this place has bed bugs on the second floor. I tried to call and have them look, but they refused and said that no one else has reported bed bugs in the hotel. If you decide to stay there, please for your own sake, make sure to look in the sheets and seams of the bed, especially on the second floor near the elevator. I would recommend staying elsewhere. Might be a cheap hotel, but it could cost hundreds, if not thousands of dollars for extermination in your home.

Totally hated it. Had to check out of the hotel 30 mins after checking in because of the rude behavior of the staff. First, they give us a room which was already taken by someone else. Imagine entering a room and finding some random person sleeping. Second, the latch of the door was broken and it wasn't functional. Third, the toilet was dirty and unflushed plus the flush not working. Then, to top it all, instead of apologizing the manager had the audacity to ask us to check out if we had so many issues. We are very tolerant people and we might not even have complained after the third glitch and would be happy to get an alternative room that had a functional flush and nobody already inside the room. But this is the first time ever that I have come across behaviour like this in the hospitality industry. Shame on the manager for treating his guests so kindly!

Bahrooms 7/10 Room 9/10 Paid $100/night Room doesnt smell.

Room was clean but I didn't feel comfortable with the adaptors in the outlets with at least four or five plugs in them. The one outlet where the coffee pot was plugged into was falling out of the wall. I had a reservation booked for a certain price and got home and realized that I was charged two dollars and ten cents for a safe which I never used and I didn't ask for. I thought a reservation was a contract that the price was set and that is what I pay. It is only two dollars but what else can be added on my bill that I haven't asked for that I will have to pay for in the future. I won't be staying at any more Super 8's if they are going to sneak in these charges.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The room was clean, modern and quite luxurious. I only stayed for one night (checking out at 4am). The shuttle to the airport was convenient and painless.

The room was awful! The shower curtain and towels were old and appeard to be going off color. Very run down. At least the room we had. This was the most horrible night I ever had! Not going back.

Come here if you want hair in your towels and a dirty tub. The cleaning staff didn't take any bottles or trash out over a 4 day period.

Wifi sucks always shutting off Bedding smells really bad Cable barely works on TV and lamps short out and flicker.

Not clean at all! Bathroom was covered in hair. Towels where stained and tub was dirty. Mirrors were grungy and difficult to use effectively. Breakfast had poor selection. Eggs smelled sour, and bread was dry, as if to be days old.
