Amazing! From check in to check out! Highly recommend if needing to be in the area. The dinner was absolutely perfect! Cooked well and tasted great! Rooms were updated and super fun! Beds were great, slept so well which isn’t easy for me in hotels. Kids had a blast in the pool, I got a drink at the bar, kids also played some table pool which they loved! Fun hip place and for a great price. Oh forgot to mention the hot breakfast! Holy moly it was spot on yummy!

All team members were incredible. Great food, prompt service. Well priced.

The hotel is really modern and nice. The restaurant is very pratical when cold outside or if you don't want to get out, the staff is also really friendly. The train is just in front, so it's quite easy when you want to go around. We also enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. We had a really nice stay at Aloft, and would return. You can even wash your clothes ;)

My first time @ an Aloft property since they joined The Marriott family. Modern hip hotel. Nice lobby bar small pool but u can take your cocktail to the pool which is great! Close to rapid transit, the university & The football stadium. Pretty impressed & very reasonable pricing.

Rooms where not to bad this time. Housekeepers defiantly have language barriers though. Friendly staff really all around the ones I dealt with. They do seriously have to do something about the Quality of their food though most of it was pretty disappointing $19 for Highliner fish tiny little piece way overcooked and $19 seriously also they charge $10 for onion rings you get about six on the plate with one carrot stick and one celery stick and a little triangle peice of bread. I think you need to give a basket of onion rings for 10 bucks and forget the other stuff.

I have stayed here several times and what really keeps me coming back is the customer service. The front desk staff are amazing. The food in the restaurant is delicious as well as the friendly staff. The pool is nice and the location is perfect for getting to the children’s hospital. I highly recommend this hotel!

The pool is great, the folks at the bar and restaurant are great too. I enjoy spending my time in Calgary here. Comfy beds and located close to the office. Definitely recommend this place for travel in Calgary.

Great friendly staff. Bliss branded soaps and lotions are awesome. Large clean rooms. Very stylish. Great complimentary breakfast buffet is hard to beat. Highly recommended.

I love coming to Aloft! The staff, rooms and food are great. The only thing is while I was there on our 15 minute cookie and coffee break. We ran out of ALL of the cookies. Milk AND cream. As a guest it can kind of make you feel forgotten about. As an employee of a great catering company, I think this just could have easily been avoided by keeping a closer eye on the snacks and having just one extra thermos of cream on standby. This was at the recent Clarisonic school on the last break. Thanks!

Wonderful place to stay! Everything was perfect. All the amenities of home and more. Their breakfast bar was a wonderful way to start every day. I highly recommend Aloft for your home away from home when traveling.

Let me start by saying I am not a guest of the hotel… However, from my very positive experience I am deciding to leave a review. I came into their lounge for a meal and was served by a woman in a blue suit jacket, she was a super sweet lady and the service was great. Food was delicious and well-portioned. Shortly after settling the bill, I then went up to the Desk to inquire about the hotel, as I haven’t set foot in an Aloft before… I’ve got to say I was extremely pleased with the conversation I had with a socially approachable Christina. She had extensive knowledge about the hotel itself and gave me detailed information based off all of my questions. Overall the Aloft seems like an incredible place! My family and I, will be back in the future to stay. Thanks to everyone.

Aloft offers a really sleak looking, clean, and convenient location. Staff were very friendly, and they actually had decent gym equipment — a near first for hotels that offer "fitness rooms". They even had a bunch of new spare earphones in case you forget yours. It also appears to attract a younger crowd than other hotels. Small things, like the continental breakfast and shower pressure, were underwhelming. Aside from these small things, I would definitely stay here again!

Uncomfortable parking (long walk around hotel). Fridge but no microwave in room. There is literally only one microwave in the entire hotel and it is from the 90s. What a joke. Sat down to eat my lunch they kicked me out of their only seating place because it was during "lounge hours". There was another group of people there working on a presentation, but have only seen one person eat there. Snacks are extremely high priced… more expensive than a gas station ffs. Definitely not worth 140 a night. Will not be returning.

This hotel apparently can’t get even 1 room clean before 3pm! What time do the cleaners come in? 2:00? How on earth, even if full the night before, can you not get 1 room clean before 3:00pm? This is simply unacceptable. It’s 2018, one would think you could get at least 1 room clean before 3 pm. Especially for a customer who has 9 rooms booked. You can’t clean 1 room before 3:00pm? Seems irrational.

Contemporary clean spacious rooms with free parking, Wi-Fi and breakfast buffet. User friendly amenities including gym, spa, pool and lobby bar and cozy but trendy common areas. Excellent value with budget minded rooms.

I did not personally stay here but I did eat in the restaurant in the lobby. I ordered the butter chicken and it was fantastic. Our waitress was great as we stayed for a couple hours and she was constantly taking good care of us.

Conveniently located on the way to Banff. The lobby is modern and at the entrance has a water bowl for dogsl. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good value for the price. Rooms were clean and modern. Not extravagant but functional. We don't spend a lot of our time in the hotels. It's essentially a place to sleep.

Great staff. The unit is full of amenities as well as supplies and great food. The team is hopeful and management was behind helpful in accommodating us during the event and doing their best to make sure our team felt welcomed!

Great hotel! Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was well laid out and having a bar on site is a definite plus. Restaurant had some great menu items, but the bison burger was a little soggy.

The rooms were spacious. There was no microwave in the room but there was a safe. It was in walking distance to fast food and fancier restaurants. The hotel also has a restaurant that has many good options and special deal for wings on Friday.

The bathroom has a sliding door that doesn’t close all the way. There’s no fan. There’s no way to hide what’s going on in there. You will learn a lot about the people you stay with and the state of their digestion. But the price is right and the location is great! The shower closet is great! The breakfast buffet is okay, the price is reasonable for what you get, and the rooms are okay. We had one issue with a fire alarm that wouldn’t stop. Someone smoked up in her room, and apparently hotel staff can’t turn the alarms off — the fire department needed to come out even though there was obviously no fire. They took over an hour to get there. At 11pm.

Amazing hotel! Super clean and modern, new renovated has everything you need anytime of the day! Great location and very friendly staff. Highly recommend this hotel.

This is a nice hotel. The rooms are clean and a good size. The breakfast has lots of options which is nice. The restaurant and bar is really big. Decent amount of parking but most importantly it is right across the street from the ctrain so if you care about staying right downtown you can pay less to stay here and take the train downtown and be there in 15min. The location to the train and UofC is really beneficial.

A little bit pretentious, in my opinion. Aesthetically it’s sort of neat, but impractical overall. Decent continental hot breakfast. Stayed the weekend and could clearly hear the karaoke from the restaurant on Saturday night all the way on the 3rd floor until 12am. Called the front desk & received a not very understanding response. Would have given it a higher rating if not for this incident, as it was quite off-putting. Showed that overall it doesn’t seem like they have the majority of their guests in mind in the face of trying to seem “cool” and “fun”. Wouldn’t stay here again.

I have been staying in thos hotel on most of my visits. Very convenient location, rooms are good, staffs are amazing. Good food option onsite.

We had a great experience staying here! Loved the interior! The colors and patterns of everything went very well together, the pool area had a beach vibe which I found very relaxing and the rooms were exceptionally clean! I especially loved the big shower in the bathroom. The front desk staff were so great and friendly they made the stay very welcoming! Restaurant staff were also so good to us! We have no complaints, would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat! Thanx Aloft staff hopefully see you again in the future!

What a perfect experience! The staff was super friendly, the restaurants food was delicious, and most of all our room was exceptionally clean with a great bed and pillows to match! Definitely staying here every time I get a hotel in Calgary!

Friendly staff, clean rooms and delicious breakfast. Underground parking is luxury on Calgary winter although with a small daily fee. Overall great experience.

A super-priced hotel with a decent décor, free breakfast, pool use, billiards facilities, parking in the underground garage, free Wi-Fi, free coffee, friendly and helpful staff. All in all: Price top! Performance Top! Always happy.

We meet at Aloft hotel the last Sunday of every month for a breakfast out church hosts as a free outreach. Thr staff has always been so friendly and the space is always clean and well maintained. Delicious food and lots of parking.

I've stayed here many times. The rooms are modern, clean and have comfortable beds. For the price, it can't be beat in Alberta! Plus it comes with a great hot breakfast. Will stay here every time I'm in town.

Nice ambiance, good beer. Didnt get a chance to play pool but I love that there was a table there. Free tea was nice.

Don’t usually give a 5 but it was perfect stay. The room was neat and modern and clean. The front staff that checked me in were great. The buffet was Simple but more than enough. No complaints. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve EVER slept on. Had the best sleep.

One of my favourite hotels in Calgary with a modern, homey touch. Pet friendly and rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Good variety breakfast with coffee available to go. Staff were very friendly and liked to make us laugh.

It was a great location for our event. The rooms were small but nicely appointed. The staff were all polite and attentive and the included breakfast was tasty. The parking lot was a little tight to navigate and the stalls fill up quickly but they have underground parking that supplemented to surface lot. I would definitely stay there again.

Front desk staff where rude when we went back to ask to finally be allowed to our room at 5pm at night after waiting over 2 hours. Check in is listed as 3pm. Then the room was dirty and needed to be cleaned and have carpets shampooed. Super fun to have to spend the majority of the day I paid for with no access to the room. After a long flight anyone wants to drop bags (without attitude from staff) and be able to rest.

Gave us a debit machine that wasn't working and told us it was our bank card. Called the bank and they verified no attempt was made to withdraw the $390 (250 deposit + 140 room charge). They had another machine that both clerks would not let us attempt to use. This was a clear display of racism towards my cousin and I. Our debit card worked fine at another hotel an hour later.

Reasonably priced hotel close to c-train station. Quiet, clean with friendly staff. Sheers on main floor rooms would be appreciated as roll up blinds don't allow for privacy when open.

Right as you walk in you are greeted with a 70s theme and it really works. The staff are friendly and the lounge is very inviting. The room was very sleek and matched the theme, alittle bit of poor lighting in the over all hotel but it was still a good stay.

We got a good last minute deal for this place on Hotwire. This is not an extravagant hotel but has everything you could want to really realax. The rooms are very comfortable. Awesome beds, fridge, coffee maker, HD TV and an amazing shower. We arrived early and they were more than happy to find a room we could check in to two hours early! Even on the top floor as I requested! The bar is very nice and reasonably priced. The area pool, although pool itself is small, makes you feel like you are on holiday somewhere exotic! There is also a gym (not that we used it as we were too busy relaxing! ) I would very much recommend this place! Even full price it is well worth the money!

The food from its restaurant is so delicious! The house keeping is ok but didn't provide cleaning service in a consistent way. Their breakfast starts 6 am which is good for travelers. It will be better if the breakfast can be more diversified.

The location is perfect if you either are traveling through or need to be close to the university. The C-Train was close by to bring you downtown. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The butter chicken was delicious in the restaurant. The beds were perfect.

We stayed in a double queen room located on the second floor just doors up from the pool entrance. The room was quite large, would fit a full-size playpen if you were traveling with children. Huge tiled shower! Room was far enough away from the elevator it was really quiet. Pool was nice (a little cold for my liking but I like really warm pools), included in our stay was a free hot buffet breakfast. Front Desk was friendly and helpful.

A very hip and modern hotel, that lacks a few basic necessities. I was shocked to find that they had a lavish pool room with no hot tub, or even a bathtub in all the rooms. They do however have a cool program where they give you $5 a day to their conscience store if you decide not to have them wash your sheets. Good for you, good for the environment!

Clean, very modern. Unfortunately staff are very dismissive, and management has a very generic response. Tried to enjoy my stay while evacuated from the Fort McMurray wildfire but I felt very uncomfortable, and would rather stay elsewhere where I would feel respected.

Awesome atmosphere and staff. A really cool place to stay if your in the Calgary area. Cool bar, tones of losing space and open pool and ping pong tables for entertainment. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay. Our huge modern room had 2 big Windows (& black out blinds), 2 comfy Queen beds, a hide a bed in the couch & a wide bench, a safe & modern lighting & bathroom. The lounge is set up so there are many places for individual groups to visit, instead of one big room with lots of tables & chairs. The only downsides to the hotel that we found was the hotel pool was tiny & the rooms only have a stand up shower — tubs are better for toddler bathtime. We will stay again though as they had great service & cleaning staff.

Management here act like they are above everyone and very high class lol, yet the service here is usually average and the managers do not know how to run a business. It's way too overpriced and generally quite unclean. I found numerous bugs in my room last visit, I will never stay here again.

Nice place. And the service was cool too. This place almost fees like they are trying too hard to be cool. But that's alright, better than not trying at all and being a reject at the lunch table trying to fit in.

The aloft over all was a good visit. It was easy to find and the staff were extremely nice. The rooms were clean and well kept and I loved the how close the pool and bar was.

Great rooms and but expensive and no free breakfast and it costs $10 for a bowl of cereal and a glass of milk. Very hard to find parking. After I got home, I realized I had forgetten something there and when I called them to get it, they said they didn't have it. Called back everyday for a week to see if they found it but they refused to give it back. It was not in till the seventh day when they said they didn't have it, I called the police and told them that they refused to give me back my item and that was stealing. When the police showed up, then they finally gave it back to me.

I was invited to a company party there and it was fantastic. The coat check was friendly. The appetisers were tasty, the main dishes were way better than what I was expecting. There was a variety of food choices and the caterers carried it about. The drinks were taken care of in an orderly fashion. Not only that, but the schedule was announced ahead of time allowing me to get enough eat and drink just before their facilities started closing. Everything was also clean and beautifully illuminated, the only thing I didn't like was forgetting my swimsuit. 10/10

Spotless modern budget hotel, the staff are as staff should be polite well informed and are pleased to see guests. Breakfast is self service and there is plenty of it. Just inside the main door is a tuck shop ideal for a late night snack or a coffee.

Comfortable, clean, very new and modern, and had a decent hot breakfast. Best part was that free earplugs were provided in the rooms — didn't need them but I loved the thought!

Amazing place, nice rooms!

This hotel might be the best I've stayed at yet. The hotel and rooms were trendy, modern, had lots of LED lighting, even in the pool. The rooms are ergonomically perfectly thought out, from the intuitive layout to the amenities in the rooms. There's also a well equipped gym, lounge, and seating area by the LED fire place. To top it all off, the "Continental breakfast" featured hashbrowns, bacon and eggs and there's no extra charge for pets.

At first I thought it was a great room. Came in and it has a retro modern feel, very clean. Also, we get vouchers for various items downstairs if we don't change our towels, plus free internet. But our service during our 4 day stay was pretty much nothing and the fan in the room was impossible to turn off, no matter what, it kept blowing cold air and our internet was at times very dodgy, had to keep restarting it. We didn't get the voucher for one day but we also didn't get our towels changed, don't understand that one! All in all, not really that impressed. Only good thing was the concept and cleanliness.

Great design to match the purpose built style of the hotel. Great facilities (especially gym and pool) and easy access to c-train. Perfect for stampede.

Had a good time at the hotel small pool, but good location, good brand new room, good service, and amazing room service like 4 seasons, would stay with them again, shame thy don't have hot tub.

I stayed here for 4 weeks when I was in Calgary for work, and I loved my stay! The staff was so helpful, kind, and willing to help me with whatever I needed. They greeted me by name every day and are pet friendly. The rooms are nice with a very new age feel to them. As an SPG member, I was very pleased with this hotel.

Room is exceptionally clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly and very helpful, they answered all my questions and were nothing but professional. Food is good, the hotel seems very new yet well-equipped with a trained, professional staff. I stay in dozens of hotels each year. I would stay here again anytime I am in Calgary.

I have had nothing but the best in customer service across the continent with this hotel chain until speaking with the front desk to book with this location. Simply tried to confirm a price that was posted online and was met with nothing but a mention of the fact that the team member had been with Starwood for 5 years and "they don't do that". Last week in Cleveland they not only matched the online posted rate, but beat it so I guess they do "do that". Best of luck in Calgary to the Aloft but I will not be staying with this chain any longer having visited the majority of their US locations. Pretty sad over what really was a nothing scenario other than me wanting to spend my money with them instead of an app.
