Very good to be on the way to the airport.

We stayed only one night, the hotel was nice and modern. The breakfast was not included and we offer it for 40 reais per person. This 3 blocks from the santos dumont airport, crossing a pedestrian bridge.

Excellent hotel, the location is not convenient but the hotel is excellent, breakfast amazing!

Any hotel that doesn't have free weights and a bench press can't get higher than a 3 from me… but the shower is everything…

That Novotel near Santos Dumont Airport is cool. Staff is kind and assist you with your needs! Neighbourhood is not that good, but the short walk it takes until the city centre is a plus. What is lovely is wake up with the rising sun shining right on your window!

We were very happy with this hotel. The rooms and beds were of high quality and had nice views. Definitely up to the modern standards of a business or leisure traveler. You can literally walk to the airport. The front desk staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Included breakfast was good, with different daily options. Restaurant and bar were standard with good choices as well.

Very conveniently located, right next to the office and the commuting airport. Front desk service was outstanding. Breakfast menu could be improved. Restaurant staff need some efficiency training, although their PR demeanor is naturally very good. Great value for the $!

Good comfortable beds, central close to the airport and the locomotion good service and your attention is very pleasant, can improve with things like water complimentary and a little more cleaning in the rooms.

Pretty good place to stay, close to the airport and to city's downtown. It is called and cozy and the only downside is the dinner. Had some scrambled eggs that were not very good, but breakfast is pretty good!

Booked two meals in advance online (for myself and guest) on checking in, told I had booked four meals, for two nights, agent gave me vouchers for the meals, but I queried this, thinking I had only booked two meals, I was told no, I had booked meals for two nights, once in room I logged into the website to review my booking, only to find it does not show what you had booked once checked in, so we used the vouchers, assuming I had erroneously booked it, yet on checkout I was told I had only booked two meals and despite the agent giving me the vouchers for 4 I was now expected to pay. Also prebooking was very restrictive with only a choice of two starters, three mains and 2 sweets. I did not feel the situation was handled very well, I don't even recall an apology, and had it not been for the voucher, we would not have dined in the hotel the second night. This was not my first visit, but given the large number of Accor properties in Rio, it may well be my last.

This place is for business users only. I have stayed here for two weeks. Breakfast is average. Good view of Santos Dumont airport. If you are planning ur vacation in Rio then avoid this place. This area is completely full of offices which are deserted after office hours or on holidays. You can't find a proper restaurant after office hours or on weekends. I heard from my friends in Rio that this area is not safe to wander around.

Checking in and checking out was terribly slow. Most importantly, Flavio at the front desk was very unhelpful checking me in. I had ordered a room for two guests but that was not showing on his end. Instead of trusting the customer (me) he aggressively asked for the reservation information. As a foreign traveler I did not have access to my email to show him my reservation for two people. The cherry on top is that Novotel claims on their website to "speak your language". Not exactly true. Flavio had a difficult time explaining how to log on to their Wi-Fi. Awful experience.

Novotel is located close to the Santos Dumont airport, if a bit of luggage can be reached on foot. The hotel is new, the furniture in the rooms in perfect condition, very clean, friendly staff. 5-7 kilometers away From Copacabana, inexpensive taxi, subway 500-700 meters from the hotel straight to the beach. Restaurants around the hotel a little bit, so better to plan dinner near the beaches or in the Lapa neighborhood. Rooms with two beds overlooking the city, with one bed — view of the sea. At the reception there is free internet, give a voucher for a free cocktail. Location excellent, hotel is very good.

Had an awesome experience here even for just the ten hours I needed to stay here to rest up. Close to the domestic flights-only airport of Santos Dumont. The metro station for Cinelandia isn't far off either.

Amazing hotel very clean and tidy also provide very good breakfast with good variety of food but it needs shuttle busses service to be one of the top.

It is a relatively expensive hotel, in a business area, it is not touristy. Yet there are taxis to hand, and at 500 m. Metro station It has Wi-Fi internet and rooms are comfortable.

Very conveniently located, near international and domestic airports, in the downtown Rio with many atttactions at walking distance. The internet service was poor and failed intermittenly, room was clean and confortable. The food was good, nothing extraordinary but good. The price is fair.

Friendly and attentive staff (you'll find that to be rare in Rio) ; clear, clean and comfortable rooms; the best shower ever; amenities not too shabby either (there's a sauna and a fitness center — no swimming pool). Breakfast is good (nothing over the top, but good variety and quality of food). Location is OK too (downtown and close to Lapa). Definitely a great choice in Rio.

Location is too far from main town. And need more restaurants in the hotel or near hotel. There are nothing near hotel, really nothing but airport and military. However the hotel is new one so the inside is good.

First of all to the quality of the hotel. The breakfast was super in itself. There was always the same — I. E. At some point you could no longer see the scrambled eggs, which were very good — but nevertheless it tasted super. Also the drinks were itself to normal level, no big surprises.
The rooms were very clean. The room was made in the morning. The rooms were great. The wardrobe offered — in my opinion — not enough space. Gym was equipped with the bare essentials. The bicycle rental service was super, because the bikes had a fantastic quality — with the bike in 5 minutes at the Botafogo was beach. The bathroom was very nicely decorated. In each room, there was a couch that you could work around to the bed.
The restaurant staff was always very friendly. At the reception it looked slightly different. Because they got plastic cards to get in into the rooms and these are very often, not worked, you had down to the front desk to get a new. Although it's not the customers fault, they reacted mostly somewhat rude and unfriendly.
In a hotel that you only can recommend.

Excellent hotel. If I am not mistaken opened at the beginning of 2010. Comfortable rooms, free internet, gym full with good machines, sauna, bar and restaurant. Very good attention. The downside is that it has no swimming pool.
