Very small rooms. If two suitcases, that's the problem. There is no fridge and no air conditioning. You open the window, the mosquitoes swoop. Bathroom is good.

Super Nice/excellent/nice/

We booked a 2 persons room (with two single beds) for 1 night. The room was very small. Not really enough space to put large suitcases (luckily we didn't have any large suitcases) with us. There was a very penetrating smell in the bathroom that lasted the entire day/night. We believe it was the smell of a cleaning agent that was used. Also in the hallways there was a very penetrating smell from an airfreshener or similar. The bath room was spacious but not very hygienic and seemed a bit old/outdated. There was no toilet brush available and no soap to wash hands. The hotel itself is located relatively close to the city center and there are bus and tram stops in the vicinity. Personnel was nice. Overall I would not recommend this hotel if you need accomodation for longer than 1 night. The quality/price ratio is bad.

I was satisfied! The price/quality is consistent. There is a summer veranda! The rooms are clean.

The room cost aprox £100 but they took all my money from my debit card without my consent leaving me with no money in a foreign country and were very rude and difficult when dealing with the matter. YES, was ALL my money, and NO it was not with my permission. Disgusting attitude.

3 Stars for a 3 star hotel. Friendly staff, room clean, bed very good, firm mattress. Very close to the highway. The breakfast buffet was very good. Price/performance OK.

Heating is great, rooms are a little smaller in size, but generally comfortable. OK for a few nights stay. Staff was not able to give me an iron, even though it is stated that you can use it. They were friendly, tried to help, but there is only one iron in the entire hotel, and it was given to some room, but they didn't know which. Caused big inconvenience for me…

Small hotel not too expensive and very quiet. Very very good breakfast.

A 3 star hotel rather expensive and frankly not superb but OK to spend a weekend.

A cheap place to stay not too far away from Antwerp City Centre, we paid around €41 per night for 4 nights but didn't expect the whole of the 3rd floor to smell like excrement mixed with air freshener! Thankfully the rooms had a second, inner door otherwise it would have seeped into the bedrooms and been unbearable! Rooms were generally tidy, cleaned every day (we were still sleeping when they did the rounds so they provided fresh towels in a bag for us), but as the neither the bathroom or room had no ventilation you could see a build up of mould in the bathroom and condensation each morning in the bedroom. Overall, it was liveable, especially considering the price. We would revisit, just not on the 3rd floor next time!

If there was a option for zero stars I would have of selected this option. Staff were rude, hotel smells of sewage. Very basic rooms that are filthy, no kettle or fridge. Wouldn't waste your money! Would rather sleep in the car.

Located near the Ring of Antwerp. Convenient parking and free. Very friendly staff and good breakfast. The heating was insufficient and the room was very cold. It was a bit old. Needs some renovation.

The service was good, all the staff was very nice and helpful. Despite looking clean enough our room and the hall smelled terrible. Breakfast was a little disappointing, eggs and juice seemed to be artificial. The rooms were tiny.

Hotel in drop of quality. Intermittent heating (non-compliant electrical network), the beds are very worn, smoke odour at level 3.
Only the breakfast is OK.

Very bad accommodation, very small rooms for the amount of money you pay. In the hallway there was a really strange smell and the rooms were not maintained well. There were a lot of spots that were dirty and that were broken! I would not recommend this hotel at all!

Decent enough hotel at a good price, with a nice bar/restaurant. However, the 3rd floor has a foul odor in the hallway and even stronger odor in the rooms. It actually kept me up at night. I’d advise the hotel management to do something other than trying to mask the odor with deodorizer spray.

Unpleasant reception. Did not even make the effort to speak French. No heating in the room, not very clean and IKEA material, for a 4 star not given it's really not terrible.

Very friendly Staff, I arrived very late and my reservation had been cancelled but I still got the room at the same price with no problems. Close to the center but not too much. Rooms in excellent condition.

Price vs quality it's a pretty good hotel. The room was tiny but clean. No outlet near the bed unfortunately. If you open the window you'll hear the busy road. But once you close it you don't hear anything. No strange smells in bathroom. Parking: it's tiny but there were still a few places available. To get to city center you can take tram 4 or tram 9. Staff themselves were pretty friendly. Appreciated that I could check-in an hour early and leave my luggage after checkout. I only stayed one night and expected the worst but honestly it's perfectly fine if you consider the price.

The bed is very comfy, but the smell of the bathroom was hard to take. I have to close the doors and open the window for a half hour to let to stink go out. Later in the winter season this hack will not work. Staff is great.

The hotel is located close to the city's Berchem station, but away from the centre. Breakfast is expensive and scarce. The rooms are quite spacious but the TV doesn't work. The sound is not insulated well with respect to the rest of the rooms. As soon as the service is pretty slow, but at least they keep your bags before check in.

Hotel dismal. However, the staff is very friendly. The rooms are old, dirty, … We have lodged a night, it was unbreathable in the room. We could not open the windows because the highway is just behind. Very noisy so. In addition, the blower in the bathroom runs constantly and is very noisy. The walls and skirting boards are full of shots and we note that insects have been crushed. The carpet is very badly injured. When we wake up in the morning, we found that we were full of bites. Without doubt, there are spiders of the bed. However, the restaurant is really high! We were very well served. The dish was quite hearty. The breakfast is quite expensive but very good also. The waitress was really nice and helpful!

Disappointed… A remake I think I rest at home…
We arrived and the staff couldn't speak French then the corridor smelled of sewage and the bathroom and also the bath was quite dirty, the room was very small and the TV only channels in the netherlands (the three French channels was unavailable) not to mention the night table that was breaking… Room 232a avoid and I don't know about the rest… I personally paid 79€for a bongo and I realized that the room costs 52€at night, so… No comment we have decided not to spoil our weekend and we are off again at 18: 00… Disappointed by this adventure and recommend it to anyone…

The room was very nice, the bed was comfortable. The TV was also nice, thet staff was nice however there were some issues regarding payment. Also had quite a bit of mosqitos in my room.

This is a typical budget option. It could be so much more. The reviews here are generally fair. It's a little tired and dated feeling. I would not wish to run a black light over the rooms, but basic cleanliness is ok. With maintenance being the obvious bigger issue. I would consider other options before staying here again. Breakfast is ok, terrible coffee. And don't try the bacon/eggs they'll be cold!

Very pleasant staff, easy to find location, rooms cleanish and beds soft, free gym room on ground floor and coffee and tea making equipment on ground floor. Breakfast was fine, though there was no scrambled egg left and it wasn't refilled. Also it cost €13.50.

Pro: Very friendly staff and helpful. The room was clean and had everything you need. Same for the bathroom. It's located in a nice and quiet area Con: The location is pretty far from the city center, but with a tram you can arrive in 15 minutes (it's a small town)

The Hotel has a relation a good price and the staff was very nice. But the water has changed in the shower, its temperature, and in the room an electrical outlet was defective. The Hotel was relatively reaching easily by car. To the city centre, I needed the car longer than 15 min. The Parking belonging to the Hotel.

The hotel was OK, bathroom a bit worn out. Decent enough for a short stay if you only plan to sleep in the room and travel on. City of antwerp is conveniently reached by tram (9) and a 5 min walk. With the low price, a good stay.

This place has bed bugs. Cancel your reservations. Don't stay here.

Clean, cheap, friendly stuff close to train station not the central, but 30 min walking to city center.

Awful hotel. The present Cress.
In bed, on the walls of the bedbugs. They are everywhere, in all rooms, not hide from them. At the reception know about it and another room where the minimum number of bedbugs, but nevertheless they are there. Horrible memories. I had bites award. The Council, one escape from this hotel.
It is terrible. Never again!

Excellent hotel for an exploration of Antwerp and surroundings. Nothing for nature freaks, there located in the middle of the city. Acceptable location with good parking and access to motorway.
Staff very friendly, rooms clean and breakfast excellent.

Wi-Fi in the room did not work.
