P6 Antwerp Hotel

At first glance, this quaint hotel might make you second-guess your decision—there are small stains on the carpet, the walls, and the ceilings. But what Postiljon lacks in thorough maintenance, it more than makes up for with everything else. And I mean everything. The service is excellent—the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The afternoon/evening concierge recommended restaurants and gave us helpful and interesting local information. He was quite chatty and hilarious and I very much liked him. The room was small-ish but very cozy. Our bed was quite comfortable and we both slept extremely well. The sheets and pillows were clean as was the bathroom—we had a room with its own toilet, which was nice, and a large shower. There was a small wardrobe to hang our clothes, which was an appreciated touch. The view outside our window was of the grand Cathedral, and if you looked down you could see all the people walking to and fro as well as sitting on the neighbouring patios. Postiljon’s location was pretty much ideal—we could easily walk to the tram/bus stop for excursions as well as wander the surrounding grounds for all kinds of shops and restaurants (there are a lot of them around). The building itself is charming and the atmosphere was very welcoming. While there are stains and marks, it is perhaps the result of age and time and not necessarily a sign of cleanliness—because for the large part, things are clean just not meticulously maintained.

Staff very good, decent hotel in the whole but as in city center and certainly no double glazing, noise and very present. No closing time at night, so courage to sleep.

Great place to stay and right in the middle of the historic district. I actually choose it for it's low price. But with a nice view on the famous church I really enjoyed my stay. Beds are decent and the room I stayed in had it's own bathroom. Other are shared bathrooms outside the rooms.

Small hotel Nice, cheap and very well placed geographically. Antwerp by train a little walk. No worries about parking.

Central Hotel in a Antwerp. Basic rooms (without TV) and windows are not fully soundproof so you ear the bells from the cathedral. Great breakfast.

One star is exactly describing the quality of rooms (Shared toilets and shower room are very small). The basement and breakfast are pretty better than one star.

Site in the very centre of Antwerp, very full breakfast and clean rooms. If you have to put a but it would be that it is in a party place, you hear noise late or you dare to go out too.

It has a perfect location in Old Town, next to the main Cathedral Notre Dame Antwerpen. Restaurants, the port, waffles, bars and souvenirs within walking distance. Also the metro station and bis stops are near by. I truly recomend this place!

If you are looking for a central spot, this is the one. But actually is not a hotel, but a hostel. Even if your room has a hand basin and the shower inside, the toilet is outside the room. The halls and stairs are dark, and you have to be looking for the switches. Because it is an old building (1544) the stairs are very narrow, with short steps. In the breakfast time, one receptionist told my friend he couldn't go twice to the tables, for taking more food.

The Breakfast buffet is quite nice, everything important is here. Staff is also nice. But only for young people. Toilet and shower for the whole floor. Toilet is tiny, bigger people would have problems with that. In the room it smells like mold and moisture, a very unpleasant smell. Our room has a wonderful view, directly opposite the Church of our lady and the beautiful place, but it is very very loud! There are cafes and many tourists, around the corner, Clubs are, so also at night loud. Very Central.

Group shower, group toilet, what you have to share with foreign guests, the TV only partially available, partially dusty.

Loved this hotel! Perfect location in the shadow of the cathedral but not at all touristy. Our room was a great deal — clean and comfortable with a view of the cathedral and included a nice breakfast. The staff was friendly, and one staff member (Laurie, I believe) went out of her way to be as helpful as possible — this included helping us place a call to France to recover a lost wallet, and serving as our interpreter when were unable to communicate with the lost & found office we were calling. Over and above the call of duty — thank you, Laurie!

Very central hotel with lots of Belgian charm and warm friendly staff. They helped me when Hilton wouldn't. Great sight/sounds of the cathedral right outside!

No small dirty no breakfast…

Great location and comfie bed, at a very good price considering Amberes. Next to the cathedral. Dogs are wellcome.

So bad hotel no recomondation really bad the room everything just shit not worth the money.

Overbooking in the hotel, since it was the busy Easter weekend, an additional cost was occurred because of it. In the end the hotel decided to reimburse it.
