Antwerp City Hostel Hostel

Stayed there this weekend with 4 friends, the staff was really nice with us. The location is top, Antwerpen is a beautiful city
Just a little negative thing, the showers could have more hooks or shelves to put your stuff without wetting it.

Ideal for a trip with friends. The hostel is in a beautiful place. The atmosphere in the hotel is cool and festive. The staff is friendly and helpful! If I come back in the city I will return here :)

The staffs are great, gave me good recommendation of where to go and what to do, great location, breakfast was nice too. Cleaning was daily, I couldn't ask for more, will definitely be back. Best regards, Grace.

The Hostel position is perfect. But the facility is old, and showers and bathrooms aren't very clean. The breakfast is good enough, and the young guys of the reception are fantastic.

Brilliant. Smack in middle of Square. Always laughter from outside but hostel is great.

Great location, great staff, secure, nice vibe, free breakfast as well. The only down side is that the reception has weird opening hours.

Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Felt very secure as the manager (? ) runs a tight ship. Breakfast is basic but plentiful (though lacking much needed fruit juice). The bells of the nearby cathedral are somewhat harsh should you be suffering a Sunday hangover… but that's your fault ;-) Brilliant value for money in the most beautiful part of Antwerp. Highly recommended and will definitely stay there again.

Great hostel inside the historical building. Nice breakfast, room and beds. The blonde girl on the reception was very polite and pleasant.

Very friendly staff, amazingly centrally located. Clean bedlinnen and bathrooms, beds all in order. I slept there with kids age 11 and 6, they liked it too. And the prices are very good too, :) they have special discount for children.

In this place as a single traveler I met first night 2 dutch girls with whom we went out for a night beer! Nice kick off Antwerp adventure, dank u wel, 5 or even more, 7!

Too noisy. Too many people in one room. Lack of hygiene. A noisy club right in front of it.

Nice place but you are just given a key and off you go to find your room, showers are not great but they get the job done, staff are very nice. Just a same they are not at reception all the time.

Great place to be when in Antwerp. Lovely people, centric, clean. Cozy living room in the basement with different games (pool, Four-in-a-Row…), no curfew. 100% recommended!

We loved the city, the hostel with its great shared areas and spacious rooms at the best location… But most of all such lovely people we met, both a friendly and welcoming management staff and their interesting guests. Looking forward to go back already :)

Great central location near many sights, restaurants and other social venues. Would definitely recommend the hostel for groups.

A nice place to stay for some days. Location is one of the best reasons to stay here.

Staff were friendly. However social area downstairs was weird seemed they had a lot of staff meetings there. No soap in any bathrooms. Rooms were boiling and no Wi-Fi past 1st floor. Got eaten alive by mosquitoes.

Not the best hostel I have stayed in. Location is very nice. But it is not all very convenient. Light switch in the room was hard to find. No nice common area besides the basic kitchen. Breakfast is very simple, not something you set your alarm for.

For a short stay this place is perfect! If you have to stay longer, think twice 'cause sometimes teenagers envade the hostel to have fun in the old town. Staff was great, they do their best to make you feel like home. :)

The location is the biggest asset of this place. It is right in the middle of the city. If you are looking for really cheap accommodation to spend the night it may be a good place. But keep your expectations on a reasonable level I guess.

Worst night ever. It is so loud here I couldn't get any shut eye whatsoever. No staff around at night to tell off the students when they play door slamming games and hold shouting/chanting contests in the middle of the night. I literally had to sleep with my noise cancelling headphones on (thanks Bose! ) to get some calm. I understand hostels are supposed to be lively and fun but that was just insane. Also, the showers smell like rotten eggs and mould, really disgusting. I was holding my breath while showering. Pros: it's very cheap.

Very good area and cheap. There are no girls ' restrooms in the mixed room.

I have never had such a bad experience. We were supposed to sleep here for two days The heating was broken so it was very cold. When we wanted to take a shower there was a very bad smell. Luckily the people running the hostel closed the hostel for the rest of the weekend. We were given the option to sleep in another hostel which was quite far from the city centre.
