We stayed in the apartment-style rooms in the hotel, which included pots, pans, stove, dinnerware, and generally everything you need to cook a quick meal. There were no funny smells associated with the hotel (oddly specific, but trust me, you'll appreciate it). Room and beds are good. Nothing extraordinary, but nothing really lacking either. Everything is clean, dust free, and modern. Beds are on the firmer side, much appreciated after a long day of walking, but the pillows are like marshmallows. I'm sure the staff can help you with that if it's really a problem since George (and the staff in general) were extremely pleasant and helpful in pointing out all the good places to hit and the places to avoid. Overall a good place to rest between days of touring the city. If you came to Vienna to sit in a hotel, maybe look at a 5 start resort, but if you are looking for a place to rest between day trips, this place is definitely a good place to go. Only thing I found lacking was there no free breakfast, but we ended up using the go l full kitchen they have to make whatever we want real quick with stuff from the nearby grocery store.
