We have had the most wonderful 4 night stay at this beautiful hotel. The rooms were fabulous, bathroom beautiful and spacious and wonderful toiletries. Extremely thoughtful extras, note left recognising our anniversary with chocolates and bubbles, sweets left on the last day for our flight home. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, fresh, healthy and a great mix of items to choose from. Concierge were warm, friendly and couldn’t do enough to help with whatever was needed.
The location of the hotel is just perfect, opposite the cathedral and central with all you’d want to do within a good walking distance. We can’t wait to return.

This review is only about our experience at the hotel bar, as we did not stay at the hotel. The lady tending to the bar this evening unfortunately gave us inadequate service. She showed little interest in wanting to serve the customers efficiently and appeared to have very poor knowledge of the food and drinks menu. She was polite and all smiles but INCREDIBLY slow. She took over 15 mins to prepare a whisky sour (despite a very quiet bar), did not know what the specials were (when we asked her what the special dessert was or what was in it, she said she couldn't explain it and said we could "taste it and see"… which probably is a bad idea if the guests have allergies). Furthermore, she did not know how to work a card machine (my partner explained to her how to use it) Everything she did (were it taking orders or clearing tables) was at a snail's pace and she appeared to show little interest in her work (kept looking at receipts and talking to colleague while preparing drinks). She appeared to be new at work, and if so — we feel that she might benefit from some further training. Plus side: great location, nice and clean place and food/drink was good.

This is the best hotel I ever lived in Vienna. Location is at the very central of the city, and the staff is very friendly. U can enjoy the view of St. Stephan Church when u have the breakfast. Recommended!

Location is great! You're right in the heart of Vienna across of famous historical spot St. Stephen Cathedral. Breakfast is included in your stay. Еnjoyed our delicious breakfast with a breathtaking view of a Cathedral. The room was perfect! Clean and smell of herbs. We had a memorable night at this wonderful hotel! Loved it!

This is a very comfortable though not especially stylish centrally located hotel. The breakfast room overlooks Stephanplatz and the food is substantial. My room was small but adequate.

We had a great time, the location is incredible. The stuff are very kind and very helpful. An excellent breakfast with a window of a prime view of St. Stephan Cathedral. Very good facilities. I highly recommend this hotel!

Right in front of St. Stephan's Cathedral This is the good because it is supercentric, but also the bad, the Bells play at 7 in the morning the rooms very well with coffee capsules, free water infusions, very cool amenities. The breakfast was very good and the staff were very helpful. To highlight the orange juice that you squeeze it and has a blender to make you juice with carrot, apple, pear, kiwi, grapes. In a very varied order. We really liked it.

One of the best places to chill while the other s are very busy outside. Best view!

Centre of Vienna. A hit: The Bells of the St. Stephen's Cathedral that is opposite and at 7 am… You imagine. Good breakfast.

Lovely hotel right in the centre of Vienna. Our room by city hotel standards is large, modern, well furnished and comfortable. The staff are so helpful (Sonja, thank you for the surprise you organised). I recommend this hotel for a stay in Vienna.

Very good location.

We spent 4 nights here, visiting from the UK and would recommend this to anyone visiting Vienna as it is so central. All the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was spot on. Staff even noticed my partners birthday card on the side in our room and when we returned there was a box of chocolates with a note saying Happy Birthday from the manager and all the staff. Nice little touch!

We stayed on Christmas weekend.
The rooms are perfect, but the staff lack attention.
The quality of the breakfast buffet is average, as is the service.
The elevators are slow and poorly managed.
The hotel is exceptionally well placed for sightseeing.

Just spent our Christmas weekend here and it was Wonderful! The staff was extremely helpful from providing directions to getting us a taxi. I am so glad we stayed here and recommend anyone wanting breathtaking views, convenient locations to everything and a great staff go to Hotel Am Stephansplatz!

The rooms are lovely and well furnished, but it is the service of the staff, especially those at the front desk, and the breakfast that stand out as being truly exceptional. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, helping our family with everything from food recommendations to booking concert tickets and bus tours. And as much as we'd normally like to try out some other restaurants for breakfast we couldn't justify leaving behind the spread of delicious breads, cereals, cheeses, meats, and juice bar!

Perfect location, friendly service. Double rooms are very large. Breakfast very nice.

Our room was nicely decorated, but very fairly small, and there was a bit of noise from the interior courtyard that I could have done without. Aside from that, the service from the staff was outstanding, and the location directly across from St. Stephen's can't be beat.

For us, the Hotel was simply perfect. Ideal location for theatre, food, culture. Very friendly, very clean. We will come back again.

Lovely restaurant with a great view of the Stephansdom and Square. Wonderful service.

The biggest advantage is the location. You can do all major attractions on foot directly on St. Stephen's Cathedral. Are directly (! ) before the front door leaving the two subway lines. Coming from the Airport (what does almost everyone with AT train), can be so easily tickets even with the subway instead of the CAT + CAB hotel.
Our room was on the top floor with Windows facing the courtyard. Unfortunately, the ventilation in the courtyard is quite noisy. The room itself is very nice, the safe pleasantly large and the bathroom huge. There is a shower and a bath with shower facility. The floor heating in the bathroom is wonderful in February. Otherwise it is like anywhere in Vienna — generally to the warm in all rooms.
The beds were a problem for us. We had both back pain. Why, I didn't even say. The beds feel really very comfortable. But after each of the 3 nights the spine hurt and actually we do not belong to the Princess on the pea.
The breakfast buffet is alright. You can squeeze yourself orange juice.
There are small and very delicious tarts, etc. You are however often quickly away.
There is also a small gym and a small sauna.

Great location and the room was nicer than Nice.
