Staff were rude and incompetent (booked us a room that was already occupied, messed up the receipts, accused us of not paying, no info on things to do in the area, gym closed and we were not informed, amenities were dissapointing considering the price. Very dissapointing.

Had an amazing time. Beautiful surroundings.

The calmness and privacy. If the restaurant opened, it would offer good meals with the view. Comfy bed, clean spacious room, clean bathroom.
Also love the scenery around the hotel and the town in the morning was lovely.

Fantastic front desk staff extremely helpful. Disappointing suites with no cable TV, empty fridge and terrible coffee. Suites are very small for a premium price. Parking is unsecured and uncovered so if you are taking a nice car, don’t. On the plus the beds are very comfortable and the location is great.

The rooms are really clean and good. The bed was kingsize and comfy. Good amenities & hairdryer. The girl at reception on night duty was really friendly and helpful as I had forgotten my phone charger, she found me one to lend me for the night which was awesome. We will definitely be back. The staff are friendly. The price was great with a bottle of wine thrown in

Great place to stay. Leanne in the cafe was most helpful. We sat outside on a cold winter night in August and chatted with other guests around an open fire. It was magical. The staff at the bar even gave our children mashmellows to toast.

It's pet friendly is all I know at this stage because I went for a job interview there this morning.

Was hoping for an electric blanket for this time of year but there was another doona I could put on the bed.
Staff were really friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Only negative was noise from other people staying. I’m assuming there must have been some kind of conference or similar. People walking the halls until 2am loud as could be. There doesn’t seem to be much sound proofing so it was difficult to get to sleep.

Amazing food, presentation of food, lovely area for events and functions. Hotel team is so friendly and passionate about their share of work and together they makes the difference of the experience at the hotel for the guest.

I was there over the weekend with my friend and had a lovely time! Rooms are clean, tidy and modern. Easy access, in the middle of the town with walking distance to everything. Would definitely recommend it and go back!

Staff were alright to me — getting me a bathrobe when I asked for one. However, they were quite rude to my coworker/friend who made the same request. They were very condescending to her. More importantly the rooms are not quiet — there is a low grade industrial sound coming from the air vents that goes constantly. So if you like a silent room, this is not the place. I tried squishing tissues between my ears and sleeping with my stethoscope on to no avail. And finally most of all the bedding is cheap, cheap, cheap — rough, overly bleached, irritating to the skin garbage. Not a luxurious experience.

The hotel was beautiful the rooms were very comfortable and clean service everyday awesome restaurant with local produce and a buffet breakfast every morning which had every food that you could think of for breakfast and I'm the last morning it started snowing so it was absolutely gorgeous! All the staff were lovely and great to deal with! Loved our stay.

Very lukewarm welcome given at reception but the hotel is new and has a good feel. The rooms were fine but two families within the group had trouble getting the heating working and one had to be moved. The hotel is functional and has a good large car park. Dinner was easy but overpriced for disappointing food. Buffet breakfast was great and reasonably priced but very busy! The hotel really does not have the wow factor!

Room had no heating. Asked to have it turned on. Didn't work. Had to change rooms at 10pm as we could see our breath in the room. New room was the elderly/disabled room. Plastic shower head massive chair. It's fine but not what we expected. No discount or comp offered. Not even a discounted breakfast. It's ok just a little disappointed. Will try somewhere else next time. Receptionist was lovely but management could have followed up better.

We had an awful experience at this hotel. There is a lot of false advertising regarding the rooms. It specifically stated on our package that the room included a bath, which was the entire reason why we booked this room. Upon arrival there was no bath and reception made no effort to fix the problem. We also had a fire alarm go off during our stay which was handled VERY poorly. No one told us where the emergency exits were, and we did not see a single staff member or fire warden ensuring guests were evacuated. When we went to reception the receptionist was checking in new guests and had made no move to make an announcement that there was a false alarm or speak to any of the guests sitting in reception wandering what was going on. Given that the seriousness of a fire the staff at Vibe hotel need significantly more training on safety.

Hotel room was clean, modern, comfy and convenient. Dinner was delicious but took over an hour for our food to come and other diners who arrived way after us got their food first. Not impressed with that waiting and no apology.

Was there with visiting family members earlier this month as a big group. Excellent customer service, very friendly and helpful. Clean, environmentally conscious (refer to the note in bedrooms). The staff were a pleasant bunch. Buffet breakfast only offers very basic food but enough. It would be great if there were more gluten free vegan options. Highly recommended this hotel to our friends and they stayed here, raving about it too.

Had an excellent weekend away bushwalking. Vibe was good. Great rooms. Beautiful layout and large windows overlooking lush grounds, visited by ducks and other wildlife. Really cosy and relaxing after being out in the cold. Centrally locates. Karen at reception went out of her way to provide really friendly service.

Room was great. The breakfast cafe however, not so much. It's way too small to cater to everyone staying on a busy weekend. You get told to wait for a table, but they don't have a numbered waiting system. This means people push in front of you. Not fun.

Spent a night there with friends. The rooms are awesome, I know the hotel was opened a few years ago but the rooms still felt brand new. We had dinner in the restaurant which was also fantastic. We will stay again.

Beautify situated in town… easy walk to various places. We found the room pleasant but noticed the lack of an information booklet in the room. No electic blanket on the bed. Apart from the above our stay although short was enjoyable.

Vibe is a wonderful place to stay, staff are all very friendly. Our room was lovely, breakfast great and our meal in the bar and grill was excellent. Will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful rooms in a lovely town. Breakfast buffet was so yum and food from restaurant was good too. In dining room service slow and rooms weren't cleaned each day. But overall, great stay. Would happily go back.

I got married at Vibe Marysville last weekend and wow!
It was everything I dreamt of and more, the venue was set up to perfection and all of our guest mentioned how it was the best wedding they have ever been to!
The relaxed environment and being amoungst nature was all we could have asked for.

We stayed for 2 nights on Labour Day long weekend. Room was modern and comfortable. Staff were friendly at check in. It has a lap pool which was nice for the hot days we had, but you might want to pick your times as it can get crowded in the afternoon. The breakfast was very good and the attached restaurant had nice meals with a touch of local produce. The area is great and only a short drive up to Lake Mountain with adventure activities for the whole family. I can not fault Vibe Hotel Marysville for the deal we got online.

Update: I’ve left it a week, called and got a man on reception who was lovely and we’ve finally managed to book in. In the interim I can say manager has tried to call but we’ve missed each other’s calls. I hope my first few encounters were reflective of a single individual and not all staff. Pleasant and friendly staff, beautiful surrounds and we'll equipped hotel. Decorated with local artwork is a lovely touch.

We stayed at the Vibe in beautiful Marysville for 4 nights. The rooms are very clean and spacious, however on the restaurant side we were very disappoint. The front of house staff lacked experience due to in my opinion not enough training which meant bad customer service. Meals took forever and no one came to ask if we wanted more water or alcohol. I blame management for not having any hands on experience them selves. Wendy who looked after the breakfasts was exceptional bubbly and very friendly. She made everyone feel welcome what a delight. The hotel needs more people like her, who give a dam. I believe having been in hospitality industry myself that the customer is number one. If management don't work at the coal face with the staff and hire more experienced staff to help the trainees this place will always struggle. I don't think we will ne back.

I didnt stay at this hotel so this review is just based on their coffee, an important necessity for most people. Requested extremely hot coffee on two occasions and it came out barely warm. No point trying a third time.

Lovely place to stay, we have been a few times. Clean, modern accommodation, quiet, nice pool, friendly staff.

Can't fault this place at all. From the first day I called to enquire about checking in time the staff were absolutely so friendly and accommodating… the room were spotless and clean and fridge stocked up. Close to Foodworks for local supplies, close to lake mountain for a scenic drive. Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back what an amazing community and a spectacular place with a beautiful people despite everything they've been through in 2009 this place is truly glorious.

Lovely room comfortable Sleep, price for fold out bed high and although peaceful balcony is tiny not really worth extra cost. I would of like to see a more detailed hotel information pack and information about the area. Dinner in Restraunt Delicious and Included Breakfast was Scrumptious over all a pleasant experience.

From our arrival the staff were nothing short of wonderful even though we arrived 90 minutes early the staff still made our room available. The receptionist was very helpful in our questions and asked if we had dinner plans and if needed was happy to make a booking. Our room was clean and spacious and very bright. The bed very comfortable and the shower though a little noisy was very hot. Upon our checkout we were once again greeted warmly and staff were very keen to ensure our stay was pleasant. This is a wonderful hotel in a beautiful spot of Victoria and we’d be back to stay again without hesitation.

Hotel was fine. Dining in the restaurant? for what was touted as fine Dining, both our meals were barely warm and my side dish of au gratin potatoe was cold. Service and wine great.

Restaurant was a let down… too pricey and salmon was too salty… loved the buffet brekki.

Nice and new. CS is good but could be improved but in saying that they are helpful. Might be lacking in training or guildlines so not the individuals fault.

After 10 days I am still waiting for a response to my problem. I inadvertently took a bottle of wine from the bar fridge instead of my own which was next to it. Charged $29.35 and offered to pay the difference between what I paid for my bottle and their (overpriced) bottle. I was told "licencing laws" wouldn't allow it and they would check and get back to me. Still waiting after 2 phone calls, each time I was promised the manager would contact me. And I had to ask for my room to be serviced after the first night.

Absolutely loved it. If the pool was covered and open for use I would have given 5 stars.

We had a great stay here, the restaurant made amazing food and was only a 20 minute drive to the mountain. Rooms were clean with plenty of parking. Rhonda at the desk was a lovely lady and was very welcoming.

I like this hotel, with their good service quality. It is very close to the Lake Mountain,. Dining in their restaurant also was awesome. They have a nice steak, and have a great wine selection.

The service is exemplary, the staff here want to make your stay a memorable and enjoyable one. Marysville is a beautiful place to go and Vibe at Marysville reflects the warm and welcoming nature of the town perfectly. The quality of the food at Radius Bar and Grill, (the hotel restaurant), is stunningly good. I can't rate this Place highly enough.

Staying at the Vibe hotel and had breakfast in the Radius Cafe. There was coffee and tea but I felt like a hot chocolate. Lee-Anne went out of her way together with another lady and found me a hot chocolate sachet. It shows they are willing to go the extra step for their customers. I certainly appreciated it. The food served was also very tasty and varied. We started with cereal (two choices) and progressed from there to the heartier eggs bacon mushrooms potato vegetable mix. We finished with a lovely muffin to top it all off. Thank you ladies for making us feel so welcome and being so friendly. It certainly makes all the difference. We'll be back again.

Great accommodation & nicely fitted rooms. Corridors are a bit of a rabbit warren though, strange there is also no access to the restaurant from the hotel — or if there is, it isn't obvious.

Room was fine and modern. Restraint was very cold and took away from dinner. After another Patton complained they adjusted the dial. An hour later my wife and I were just as cold. Poor form considering the price of meals.

This place is a money grab, I bought a 2 night upgrade package via Luxury Escapes. The voucher expires in Aug. 2016. I except that I didn't see the fine print about booking within a couple of weeks of the purchase. To be told too bad you loose is the sigh of a business with NO customer satisfaction concerns. I would have coped even a small discount to re book, I got NOTHING but crickets. VIbe chain will never see another $ of my money.

We travelled to the vibe Marysville after a week of conferences in Melbourne city. On approach the drive from Healesville to Marysville is spectacular, nothing less. The hotel is brand new having opened its doors in 2015 following the black Saturday bushfires that ravaged and laid waste to most of the community previously. The hotel was reasonable value, we paid $630 dollars for a two bed apartment (there were three of us in total) on the ground floor. Breakfast was not included in this price. Upon entering the room it smelled a little musty and the air con was switched off which made it very warm. However opening the windows a touch and putting the air on remedied that issue. Amenities are adequate, there is a swimming pool, gym and sauna, a restaurant and bar attached to the hotel and for everything else there at stores does up and down the main street. The pool however, whilst having sun lounges available could do with more table and chair seating. In total the pool area could accommodate Max 10 people without encroaching on personal space. The pool itself is a small lap pool about 20m long with two lanes. The room itself ticked the boxes of Things you'd expect, fresh towels, toiletries, robes, ironing board and iron. As we had an apartment (room 6) it also has a full working kitchen, table and chairs for 6, a lounge room and a laundry with washing machine and dryer which was useful.

Lovely place to stay in Marysville. Excellent, clean rooms and wonderful ambience. All-in-one, very pleasant and relaxing.

Even though the restaurant staff is clearly still learning, what comes out of the kitchen is refreshing and exciting.
