Have stayed here twice in three months, once just me and hubby then with kids. Great experience each time, look forward to coming back in the winter. Such friendly people Dave and Leanne. The rooms are clean, location is great. Very modern.

Lots of room for the three of us. Beautifully and tastefully furnished and very well appointed.
The beds were so comfy. The bathroom had been recently renovated with high quality fittings and looks great. Surprisingly quiet here too. Thoroughly impressed and highly recommended I will definitely be returning here again soon. Thanks very much.

They don't understand their own booking system and feel free to charge your credit card for nom existing bookings.

I had booked here instead of vibe for the bath. We noticed the bath was broken late in the night decided to just email when I got home. They did not care and did not refund. Don't waste your time it isn't worth what you pay at all. Go to vibe instead. We won't ever be staying again.

Pleasant stay. Facilities were clean and tidy.

Room very nice and clean. Bed was big and comfortable. Heating/AC work very well. Hot water system playing up a bit. Close to cafe and bistro. Staff/owner very accomodate with our need. Good price as well. Very happy to come back and stay again.

The motel is clean and very convenient. The staff is super friendly and awesome service. I will definitely recommend to my friends!

Pretty disgraceful, nothing like it presents online. Room smells like cigarette smoke, mouldy plastic rubber mat in bathroom that we removed from the room, toilet roll holder fell off the wall and we have only been here for a few hours. We booked a luxury king suite and paid $410 for 2 nights, not even a king bed — a couple of singles pushed together. Do yourself a favour and check out Vibe across the road, looks 100% better.

Not exactly a 'boutique motel', but quite clean, comfortable bed, good heating, and has the necessities. The couples room on the top level has open floor plan, therefore, there's no door seperating the bathroom to the bedroom. Remember to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste because they're not supplied — no microwave either.

On arriving to Tower Motel, we were given room 2 — to our disappointment, the shower was not only unclean, but had mould and black rot in the wood surrounding.
The ceiling above the shower was also peeling off.
The smoke alarm had been moved, but the previous hole had not been patched or repainted.
There was no bed head, just a mattress on rollers.
To the “concierges” testament, she showed us another room available — unfortunately we found this to be not up to standard eithe…r.
The lady did however agree to a full refund once we requested it and apologised profusely. *Be warned — the photos advertised are quite outdated.

The Location is right where all the action is. Action — I meant the lovely serene calm atmosphere in Marysville. Things not found in Tower first. No views from within the room or even outside. This is built as a line of rooms with the access corridor as the only available open to air space to the rooms. Plus a common Balcony with some tables and chairs. This makes Tower a spot only to rest for the evening and to sleep in. We were in a family accomodation with A King Sized bed and two single beds for two kids. So the only space available in the room was walking space between the beds and at the sides. Kids got bored and started to be glued on to the TV after 7:30 PM. Things that are good — Parking is good, And if you are considering being out exploring the little town, walking around and coming back to the room for the sleep, then Tower can be a place to choose. $$ are reasonable. The facilities are decent, clean, well maintained, Tv, Aircon, Kettle, Fridge all in working order. The staff are friendly, they have a little Bar /cafe in the front which serves some drinks. Easy n no fuss Checkin and Checkout. They have done all they could do best with the Facilities that are available at their disposal. So kudos to them. They have Breakfast too but Didn't try. Summary — Good place to stay if you are doing leisure walks, drives, hikes around and return for the resting.

Great location. Clean. Very helpful staff who helped locate and post a sentimental item accidentally left in the room.

Stay here for a night rooms were pretty clean location was pretty close to the waterfall.

Comfortable & central location.

Clean room and modern bathroom and facilities. Staff extremely polite and accommodating to our needs. In the heart of town so walking distance to everything. Wifi worked great in my room as well as the tv. Lost a star due to a lack of basic needs in the room such as enough plates, cutlery, toilet paper etc for four people. Given upon request though. Outside area could do with a simple clean and update which would really lift the ambience and make for enjoyable evenings. Would return.

Don't stay here, pay 50% more and stay at the vibe across the road. New Chinese owners have run the place down.

Room toilet resembled an outside dunny Shower went all over adjcent floor. No power point at bathroom sink No staff to help. Keys are left in doors in case they get people that ring in so no staff there No smoking areas have butts in pot plants that are dead on walkways Cobwebs around balcony's are terrible and leaves on walkways are filthy to say the least Come on owners lift your game you have got tourists to cater for I would not recommend this motel at all 14.11.17

Not bad for the price. Rooms are nice but definitely need some maintenance!

Even with loud guest in the room next to us once inside our room couldn't hear a thing slept great comfy beds.

Stayed here twice now, will be back again. Always clean and lovely rooms. Couples room is beautiful with a massive bath tub and very modern style, great value for money.

Toilet door looked like a cubicle door. The toilet seat didnt fit the toilet. Wine glass wad dirty.

Good location, comfy bed and clean but the rooms are weird as no bathroom wall/door and not supee private due to close proximity of rooms and windows.

Visited some friends here, rooms are very small and toilet is in the same room, just have a screen for privacy. Not sure on price, but that does put me off.

Great room, nice and clean, room had a toaster but no knife to butter it and no plate which is a little strange.
Had to throw it out and go buy breakfast but the breakfast was amazing at Fargas!

Marysville is a nice small town close to many scenic walks, unfortunately my experience at the Tower Motel was not that good. I booked a room for 4 people with a King and two single beds. When we arrived the King and one single bed was there, with a mattress on the floor. On inquiry the other options was two Queen beds that would not work for our group. One of us had to sleep on the floor on the mattress : (. There was also not enough Face cloths or Cups and Saucers for 4 people. Further more we found a spider in the bed. No excuse or discount was offered by management, not a good impression for us of this Hotel and I will not recommend it.

Lovely accommodation and hospitality. Very modern open plan room with large king size bed extremely comfortable. Situated in centre of town close to all Cafes and Pubs. Highly recommended.

The motel room was quite nice but the room did need some maintenance. On arrival we noticed that the mirror was cracked and there were a couple pubic hairs stuck to the inside of the bath. One of the wine glasses was also dirty and unwashed. Overall it was quite nice to stay in however.

Clean, comfortable lodgings on the main street of Marysville. Realised why its called the Tower motel on leaving. (There's a happily buzzing communications tower behind the building. ) Staff were friendly — with Mrs TM giving detailed directions of what to do in and around the town. On checking out I asked the guy how business was going. "It's a struggle, you know. 6 years on, and its still tough. " I wanted to tell him I understood, that I knew how hard business could be. But the devastation remained uppermost in my mind, and I said nothing of the sort. I wished him good luck.

Dont expect quality, more like an old 50s motel with a coverup facelift. Dont expect good maintenance, expect all the fittings in the bathroom to be falling off (literally). Dont expect a shower that doesnt spill water all over the floor and make the tiles very slippery and dangerous. Dont expect a pleasant warm atmosphere in your room, actually more like a featureless box with a door and a couple of beds. Dont expect any common areas to be clean and free of spider webs, actually more like a jungle of spider webs might be more like it. Dont expect quality furniture in your room or bedside tables on both sides of your bed. No bedside lamps to speak of. Dont buy an icecream down the street and expect the freezer to keep it frozen. Dont get there before 2.30 pm and expect anyone to be there either. Marysville however is beautiful.

I loved the Tower Motel! It's such an intimate little place with wonderful and warm people running it. The rooms are great and the reception/bar/coffee shop is a great hangout place. I look forward to my next visit.

Beautiful haven in the beautiful town of Marysville. Truely a place to get a feeling of being surrounded by Australian bush and nature — so close but so far from metro Melbourne. The staff are as equally as warm and friendly as the nature and wildlife surrounding the Tower Motel, They were so helpful and the re-design of the rooms modern and clean. Well done Tower Motel and staff on 14th too 16th Feb … you are great!

My Wife stayed there one night and their DVD machine went u/s and retained her DVD. That's not to be helped, however it took 3 months for the Tower to send back her DVD. You know what, they sent it back without any postage. My wife had to pay $12.50 to get her DVD back — if they'd twice the brains they were born with they'd have used a jiffy bag and it would have cost her only $2. Unimaginably tight and completely uncalled for. Their equipment was at fault and they had her property, they should have paid the postage — disgraceful and mean.
