I love the mountain and terrain and have been a regular visitor for 10 years plus. But…. The grooming efforts in recent times have been appalling. This morning cornice and black snake closed for racing until 9:30. Only other run groomed was imagine, with literally everyone trying to get down it. Orchard open, no grooming. When you are charging everyone top dollar and giving very little, people get over it very quickly. In addition the road clearing efforts were equally poor. 4 cm of snow overnight and everyone required to fit chains from the village down at 1:30 pm on a sunny day with moderate winds. I’m losing patience fast and I’m sure many others are, even though I love the place. Not good enough.

Useless communication, fraudulent. Owes thousands of Australians thousands money for epic pass. How a class action has not been actioned is beyond me.
I along with at least 10 other friends are STILL owed $1000 for 2021 epic pass.

We had a trip planned to hotham this month, due to covid we couldn't make it. Hotham was amazing at replying to our emails and quickly refunding us our full amount without making us feel like it was a hassel. They really went above and beyond.
We understand that this lock down must be very hard for your business, but we appreciate you making it easier on us. We will be booking again next year. Thank you for everything guys.

"entry into the resort is only permitted where visitors can provide proof of a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours of departing Melbourne. " We're now not going as we are not getting a dangerous test that goes dangerously close to the blood/brain barrier — for something we may not even have! Ridiculous. We're saving for a Summer holiday elsewhere.

From the welcoming staff to the position on top of the mountain, comfortable accommodation and amazing groomer/snow making crew it is always a fun and exciting holiday at Hotham! ❄️⛷

Pack of thieves
In an effort to try and save money, we stayed in dinner plain and someone would drop off the skiers for the day to save on the parking fee. 1 month later received 2 infringement notices for
"Stopping — contrary to a no stopping sign". $165 each.
The week costs enough, now this. Will not be back.

Great views, however: -path was not cleared and was very difficult to get into our room -definately a squeeze for 4 people-pull out couch bed so uncomfortable -heater on high hardly worked -storage at central was inconvenient.

Comfortable place to stay at a good price. Expect a bit of a trek up and down stairs when first unloading your gear.

Great rooms with fantastic views.

Great place for a self contained apartment style accommodation. Fantastic views and perfect location. The stairs can suck at the end of a hard day skiing but it's a small price to pay for such perfect accommodation.

Excellent location. A short walk to village, lifts, runs, race club. Bus stop next door. About 10 self-contained townhouses. Modern styling, instantaneous gas hot water, satellite TV and Foxtel, broadband internet available (ADSL). Extensive views over ski area and mountains. 1750 metres elevation. Access from Arlberg driveway.
