We had an amazing experience at Spicers Clovelly Estate and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for some time out in nature. The service and food is fantastic and the staff make you feel instantly comfortable and at home. Our dinner was one of the best dinners we have had, we had 6 courses and they catered for my allergies. We loved our stay and would gladly make it a regular visit.

Spicers Clovelly Estate goes out of their way to make your stay memorable. The food at The Long Apron was outstanding with the service provided by Daniela going way beyond expectations and making our night really special. The accomodation was clean, comfortable and very welcoming. All in all worth a journey.

We had an incredible dining experience at The Long Apron which went being just the great food and the beautiful ambience. Our host Romain was exceptional and incredibly perceptive of our needs throughout the night as he served up beautiful moments to make the whole experience memorable. We got married at this beautiful estate in October. This is such a breathtaking property! It rained on our day but the staff did everything they could to make the day run smoothly for us. We still ended up with some amazing photos as the property was all foggy and romantic. The food was outstanding and everyone raved about it! There were so many thoughtful touches, including slippers for all the guests on the dance floor and a bubble bath with champagne and choccies waiting for us in the bridal suite at the end of the night!

Lovely property, beautiful surroundings, very relaxing. Staff very friendly and helpful. Exceptional dining experience. Overall we had a wonderful time.

We recently had our wedding weekend at Spicers Clovelly and we can’t recommend it highly enough. Emma Ferguson is obviously a very experienced wedding coordinator and it really showed. She was extremely thorough with every detail of our weekend giving us countless ideas and options for the pre-wedding night with our friends through to our wedding and reception. Every staff member we came across was so observant and discerning with their service, it’s no wonder they recently won the Australian Hospitality Award. The food and wine during the weekend was extraordinary! Our guests raved about the accommodation, especially the pillows. Thank you Emma and Spicers Clovelly.

We attended a wedding at Spiders. It was an absolutely beautiful setting. Staff were amazing, food was fabulous and lovely facilities. Only down side was that the heaters were not working in the function room but staff wereyou very quick to provide blankets.

Amazing food at The Long Apron with some unusual flavour combinations, however the flavours really did work. Outstanding service amongst stunning surrounds. The only limitation is that with accommodation you need to stay a minimum of 2 nights on the weekend. This is something we couldn't do so had to book accommodation elsewhere, and drive to the restaurant for dinner so one of us couldn't drink too much wine. So we missed out on experiencing the lovely rooms. I have still given 5 stars based on our dinner experience.

We've stayed at some beautiful places but Clovelly Estate is now top of our list. From the very first interaction with staff online until our warm check out the service was exceptional. The room was huge and flawless and we felt thoroughly spoiled. The dining experience at The Long Apron was unlike anything we'd experienced and made for a magical evening. Much more than a room for the night, Clovelly is a true experience and we cannot wait to come back. A huge thanks to Bobbie, John and all the amazing staff from the chefs to the cleaners and groundsman that make this place so special. We loved every minute, thank you.

My girlfiends and I went there for massages & facials — the spa ladies were fantastic and the treatments were divine! Lovely location.

It was a pretty good experience. Stayed in the cottage and it was very comfortable and clean. However there was only 6 mugs… and no salt and pepper. The staff for the function were pleasant and helpful.

We had our small wedding/elopement with immediate family only at Spicers Clovelly Estate. Our day could not have been more perfect! We were blessed with amazing weather and all the staff were exceptional at putting together every aspect of our special day. Huge thank you to Emma for being there for us over the months leading up to our wedding and for organising and running things on the day. We are all still raving about the food we had over the course of our stay — all meals were outstsnding. Huge thank you to your chefs and kitchen staff, servers and bartenders — you guys are all fantastic! We loved the estate and all our guests were blown away by your stunning suites and amenities. It is all too rare that you find a place that has mastered the combination of beautiful surrounds, relaxed luxury, exceptional service, fine dining and all those unexpected little touches that delight. Ten years after we were married at HiddenVale, the Spicers Group still sits firmly at the top of my favourites list. Thanks to all the lovely staff at Spicers Clovelly Estate for making our stay so wonderful.

From the top down. Stunnng customer service the food was a gourmet delight with a very complimenting wine selection. Despite a wet rainy day the rolling hills and walk around the manicured grounds was the recipe for a wonderful relaxing time. Everything has been well thought through ensuring guests stay was at an optimum of delight enjoyment and relaxation. Thank you for the experience.

This is definitely the best place I have ever eaten at in my whole life. The time and effort put in to combine ingredients is beyond perfect. The presentation is made into an art peice. They are lucky to have such talented chefs. The waiters are always watching ready to move plates and top up drinks. We have been many times and the degustation menu is my favourite even if they serve ingredients I normally wouldn't eat I just go with it and I'm always pleasantly surprised wit the fabulous flavours and textures.

5 stars just isn’t enough! This is my 3rd time back staying here and you are literally treated like Royalty. The food is exquisite, the staff seem like they are hand picked to provide the best VIP treatment and the rooms are Devine. I feel peace and calm as soon as I walk through those doors. You must try the tasting menu at the Long Apron, you won’t be disappointed. Thankyou so much for looking after me, I’ll be back.

Possibly the best weekend getaway we've ever found from Brisbane / Sunshine Coast / Gold Coast. Rooms are beautiful, service was flawless, breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately the only let down was dinner. It was nice it was just a little over done, if they focused just a little less on fancy and a little more on flavour it would be 10/10

I had very high expectations of The Long Apron, which is now called The Short Apron for lunch. There is no degustation menu and wine matching for lunch anymore, only a limited a la carte menu.
I certainly don't mind paying for quality, delicious food with good service, however this is lacking at The Short Apron.
We waited 20 minutes sitting in the lounge room before being asked for our drink order. My coal grilled octopus was chewy as chewing gum and lacked flavour.
In my opinion there are many restaurants on the Sunshine Coast that offer far better food, quality and service.
This is the first 'up market" restaurant that could not provide an affogatto coffee after our meal because they don't have ice cream!

I don't think "getaways" get better than this place. Such a special place. Always spectacular.

What can I say it was a fantastic experience from the start with lovely friendly and helpful staff and a lovely location to eat. The food was fantastic and did not disappoint. The extras given with the meal were also unexpected and enhanced our experience. We would recommend anyone go to this restaurant and we will be going again.

My 80th birthday was celebrated with 16 family members, and was highly successful. An exceptional day more than met my expectations and my family all agreed the food was beautiful, the service was great and the entire day delightful. Thankyou to all staff who were polite and gracious and much appreciated. It was a wonderful day.

Wish I could rate it higher than 5 stars. The food, superb. The service, exceptional. The rooms, immaculate. Staff here really went above and beyond for our stay here. It was a perfect place for our family getaway. Recommend the cooking school and the degustation dinner at the restaurant. Food is like nothing else you will find in this area. Well thought out flavours and everything prepared fresh and sourced locally.
