This place was beautiful. The rooms were great. Pool was lovely. The owners' were very friendly.

Good self service accomodation. Clean room and great pool/bbq/out door area. Friendly and helpful staff. We stayed for 7 days and the only negatives were that we ran out of soap over the week and unfortunately we were woken up each morning by road works at the front of the building. Location (Walking distance to everything) and the out door areas are definitely the best points. Would definitely recommend to others, but just remember it is self service rooms.

A really nice place to stay. Great pool and BBQ area and in a beautiful tropical setting. Comfy room and very helpful managers.

Wonderful retreat spot to enjoy a few days in the Port Douglas area. Managers are exceptionally helpful in providing guidance on excursions and self-led tours. Rooms are comfortable, quiet. Pool is delightfully refreshing.

The studio units are quite a good size with comfortable bed and good kitchen facilities, including a microwave and two efficient heating elements. The location is very close to main shops in Macrossan and only 5 min walk from the beach. The pool is very good and quite warm. There is a barbeque area and deck chairs. The office is well attended and they can book tours. This is a highly recommended motel.

Port Douglas Retreat is real value for money. Very clean rooms with cooking facilities both in the rooms and at the pool area. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming with plenty of things for you to do. Tip: This place is so close to every thing you won't need to hire a car and so close to the Marina, it makes it the best place to stay if your on a Great Barrier Reef vacation.

Really good location just off the main strip, very lovely pool and spacious self serve apartments with full kitchenettes.

Nice rooms and very friendly staff. Great location. The unit has a microwave, stove top, fridge and everything else needed to cook a meal if you feel like it.

Very easy accommodation with quick access into town. The room itself is nice and thankfully has air con.

Clean and tidy. Nice sized room and the manager was very helpful with taking us to the room and arranging airport transfers. Kitchen in the room was well equipped. Pool was excellent and location was perfect — 5 mins to the marina/shops/restaurants.

Hotel is nice, would be even better if they offered any sort of catering to the room such as breakfast or dinner. Staff is suuper friendly and. Ot too close to the beach but close to city center. Overall, very good.

Great place. Great value for money, nice modern complex with a lovely pool and BBQ area. Rooms were of a good standard. The business is family run which meant the staff were always pleasant, helpful and importantly genuine.
