So look forward to my girls week away each year at Central Plaza. Lovely new owners Rodney and Glenys who can’t do enough for you. Beautiful pool. Huge spacious apartments. Always have the most relaxing time here.

Amazing place to stay! Have been to Port Douglas 7 times and we have stayed here the last 2 visits and will DEFINITELY come back! Great size apartment for a family of 5! 3 bedroom/2 bathrooms — everyone has their own space! Close to main st and beach — easy walk for kids.
Great size pool — kids loved it! BBQ area was great for nights we stayed in and for bbq breakfasts.
Rodney the manager was amazing — assisted us with discounts to attractions, helped us map out a Daintree Visit and had some great local knowledge!

Just arrived, but so far so good. Friendly greeting on arrival. Apartment spacious and airy and perfect for a family of 4. Good facilities. Kids love the pool, we love the spa! Central location, 5 min walk to the beach and 10 mins into the main shopping, bars and restaurants of Macrossan Street. Great value for money!

Fantastic place to stay in central Port Douglas. Lovely spacious self catering apartments with everything you need.
Extremely welcoming owners who are so helpful and will help ensure you have a great break. The pool is lovely and it’s only a short walk to the beach, marina and shops/restaurants.

Family holiday with 7 adults and 2 young children. Very nice apartments close to main shopping street and extremely comfortable accommodation. Highly recommend for great stay.

This place needs a serious review and I will submit a fair expose of the below standard service and facilities within a few days. At present Port Douglas is pretty full but keep looking — Do not stay here.

Yes we recently stayed at the Plaza, and found the pool and facilities wonderful however the mattress protector needed to be replaced, very stained and yuk! Otherwise all ok.

Comfortable 2 bed suite. Pool, lounge & outdoor cooking /eating area great. As it is named, very central. Easy walk to beach, town & restaurants. Would stay again. Friendly & helpful staff.

Fantastic stay! Perfect location, walking distance to beach, shops and Marina. Friendly and very helpful managers. The apartment was spotless and the pool / Bbq area is brilliant for a smaller complex. I will definitely be back!

Perfect location walking distance to beach, downtown, marina, and a lovely drive to all the sights. Apartment is like a home away from home with all the amenities — but in a tropical setting. Highly recommend.

. Kitchen fully equipped with everything including a dishwasher.
Washing machine and dryer.
Both bedrooms have their own ensuite.
Close to macrossan street (Main Street).
Very helpful staff.
Ceiling fans and reverse cycle air conditioners in both bedrooms as well as the living area.

Nice pool comfy beds. Just needs a few more channels on the tv. Suffers the same broadband problem most places there do. Don't expect super quick downloads until NBN is properly fitted out.

The location is very good and spacious apartment, but I would say they have to do pest inspection more frequently.

Apartment was spacious. Our apartment was dirty. It had mould in the ensuite, main bedroom and lounge room. We made the manager aware and they were grateful for this. The main bathroom had no shower door on it. We made the manager aware of this and they put up a shower curtain as I had almost slipped on the wet floor. For the price, we found the above factors unsatisfactory. The pool and BBQ area were good and the short walk to town was good.

A very comfortable accommodation with all amenities we needed. Quiet location close to the centre of town mean't we didn't need to drive, unless going out of town. Good pool and patio area with BBQ facilities, very clean. Would stay again.

The rooms are always clean, the pool inviting and the hosts Iain and Fiona friendly and full of information. I have recommended this resort to many friends and relatives and all have had the same experience. Value for money.

Love this resort. Great for couples or families. We have stayed here a few times now and simply love it every time. I have travelled by myself for work and then returned a few times with my family and we simply love the huge pool and BBQ area for the family and friendly guests at day and night. The managers Iain and Fiona really go out of their way to help with all the tours and activities and the apartments are very clean and relaxing. I would recommend central Plaza Port Douglas Apartments to anyone who likes affordable luxury.
