Not the best place. Small room and room has things to use but most things broken. Asked for a beach view and 2nd room for a double bed but got none. Very old place. Only thing is 7th floor was only the nicest thing. Will not recommend and will not ever be back. A leaving letter arrived under door the day before leaving and asked what things need repair as they dont get time to check things or see what needs matience we leave it up to the people staying in the apartments to tell us. No no you have 3 staff in the office sitting there doing nothing it is only a ten floor building come on dont get time? No dont want to do it cause it cost money to do it all. Yes our room was ok but not going to say what was wrong but I was in shock when looking before we unpacked. Just over people passing the buck when actually do your job and it will not be a problem. Lazy people don't get far in life Palazzo Colonnades is all this can see it is run down and not going far. In the heart of Gold Coast.

Quiet location within walking distance of Cavill Avenue. Tram stop directly outside hotel.

I stayed here a few months ago, with 3 young kids. I found the apartment was of a good size, nice size bathroom and kitchen. The premises were clean, modern and easy access from the underground carpark. There is an outdoor pool and spa and a small gymnasium with a sauna, there is also an outdoor Bbq area and a games room in the carpark. I found my stay to be enjoyable and reasonably priced, I wound rate this as a strong 4 and will use them again.

I have stayed here for five days. It is my second time staying at an apartment, so I am used to daily services. It is a whole different experience, and overall I really did enjoy my stay. I was able to cook, wash, clean; public transport is just outside, tour bookings and tickets are all at the front desk~ it felt just like living at home in your own flat. If you wanted extra things however, like sheets or towels or cleaning supplies, you would need to pay extra. Cleaning stock I. E. Laundry liquid, dishwasher liquid etc are limited, so you would either need to make do or you buy it at supermarkets yourself, or ask for some more at the front desk for a price. What I loved the most is the feel of living at home as you do everything yourself, as well as the three balconies with sliding doors towards beautiful views. Privacy wise, you can here people from upstairs running their chair on the tile pretty well, as well as sounds from next door. Not too bad of a sleep though, since you get to complain after 10pm should the noise be substantial. The building is a little old, could do some furnishing and maintenance. I love the layout of the flat a lot; should I get one custom made, I would follow the same design. If I was to come back to gold coast again, I may consider staying here again.

Great place to stay when visiting surfers paradise. Great location and the rooms are spacious and the faculties are awesome.

Close to public transport. Great bed for sleeping and larger shower than most. Only 1 set of towels and linen though on eco rate so beware. Extra charges for swimming towels. Would stay again though.

This would have to be the worst place I've stayed in. The bathroom was dirty, we could smell a awful smell coming from the bathroom cupboard. When we opened it we discovered a pipe that had been covered in plastic that was full of mould and slime and the stench was terrible, definitely a health risk. The bed was so hard and the furniture was so old and dirty. Definitely would not recommend to anyone. Very disappointing as the pictures on website look lovely.

Basic but has all you need. Very good location. Apartments weren't very clean and rooms smelt like cigarettes with food from people before us left in cupboard.

It is near the big street with all the markets. Quite close to the beach. It has 10 floors the rooms are a little dirty (rusted) but happens with all places and homes.

Staff are very friendly and wemt out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Stay here!

The reception people were friendly and helpful you can buy tickets and passes there. There is a pool, spa, gym and sauna around the back of the hotel. I found it to be a really great location even though it was my first time at the Gold Coast, the location is unbeatable. Very close to restaurants and the trams that come every 7 minutes (i think) and theres a bus stop a block away that takes you to movieworld and the other parks. Our room was dated but I liked the paintings which were of greek places. Our room had many views from different sides of the hotel and the TV has movie channels for evenings you want to stay indoors.

Love this holiday apartments it has it's own swimming pool, gym etc it's close to shops etc would recommend this place to anyone.

1 star slump rather than a 4 star. I booked two rooms 802 and 806 — they were both disgusting. The freezer was not working-melted all the Ice cream I bought. The air conditioner was dripping on the table. The furniture was old, stain and some parts ripped. The carpet filthy and stained. Marks and stain on the wall and the bathroom had moles growing in the corners. The oven was dirty and not cleaned. The mop was so dirty and dried, could not be used and vacuum cleaner did not suck. Cannot use the gym as it smelled of dry sweat from the carpet — dry reached every time I passed the room. This is the worse apartment I have ever stayed. Complained to the the Manager Jess — worse customer service I have ever dealt with — She did not give a shit.
I highly recommend NOT staying there.

The place is nice, but looked much better from the exterior then what the rooms turned out to be.

The rooms are big, comfortable and all self-contained. No intercom access. Staff are helpful and friendly. A little expensive to stay for the night.

Very friendly on arrival but that’s where the good review ends. The rooms were very disappointing, dirty floors, looked like it had never been dusted. The curtains had holes in them from age. Photos on the website would be from when the hotel was new. Whole place needs a face lift, including the pool which also didn’t get clean and had lots of bugs in it each day. Overall extremely disappointing as we paid $2, 500 for 1week. Certainly not a 4 star more like a 2 Star. Jean.

Worst experience ever! We booked 1bedroom appartment here in December and the air conditioning stopped working the very first night. Kids couldn’t sleep properly all night and we were up 6 am as rooms got unbearable hot. We lodged a claim with reception and the response was not very encouraging. This is our second night here in this condition… without air conditioning. The whole holiday is wasted!

Fantastic place to stay free Wi-Fi pool spa and a bab area fully equipped kitchen.

Vending machines throughout (good for when you need a snack) Near new Tram station Helpful staff Awesome room, pool, spa and facilities Games room was okay. Close to shopping centre and lot's of YUMMY food places nearby :) Excellent, will stay there again when we go to Surfers Paradise sometime in the following years.

We booked over 7 months before our stay in October. There were quite a few of us staying in seperate rooms for a conference in the area. We were one of the first to book. Upon arrival on the Friday at 1pm we rang reception as the toilet was running. They advised they would get their plumber. No plumber no customer service advising us on updates. The windows and balcony were filthy, the outdoor chairs covered in dirt, one of the sliding doors was very hard to open and complained about all of this in the morning, but they would not move us. Kept saying they were fully booked, but the vacancy sign was on. Whilst at the conference I rang them and they could only move us to a room on the same side but a little higher. No view as advertised on their website. All we could hear and see was the tram and road. First night did not sleep and turned the toilet off in the morning would not go back on, so we’re forced to use pots of water to flush the toilet. No plumber, but they did clean the floor of the balcony but not the windows or fix any of the other issues. Would not ever stay here again. Several complaints to them via the website etc no customer service yet again.

Spur of the moment with family I booked what seemed to be the only 2 bedroom apartment one night on the gold coast 30 september at $495 Yes school holidays so prepared to pay that and on arrival treatment was star class. Unfortunatly thats where it ends Didnt actually get into room until aftet 5pm our choice but bathroom floor had dirty footprints and toilet seat was left up Lounge area you could clearly see so much rubbish behind the lounge The hairdrier blew up ceased working and set the fire alarm off and the dishwasher had not been used for sometime and had cream stuck to it and the smell was disgusting… of course no one contactable that night Next day I called and was told no worries I will let the cleaning staff know this was not the same lady as check in I said that I would not put anything on trip adviser as these things happen but because I have had no contact or an apology I am. I left it two days then called again and spoke with the original lady I thought great but no I was accused of taking a key with me (when only given one) which she did realise after again no apology I started to ask what the outcome was regarding tbe room to be told she didnt know what I was talking about. So I started to explain with constant interuptions of "you did what" "thats how you left it" I actually had to ask her to listen… and at the end was told " oh really" then total silence so I ask to be called after. And now nearly two weeks later still nothing… and 495.

Situated right by Surfer's Paradise, the location can't be beat. The apartment itself is a bit older, based on the interior finishing and carpeting. We had a nice west facing view and east facing view (towards the beach) but there were buildings blocking most of the beach view. Each bedroom had a balcony access which was very nice. Overall the stay was good, but there were a few disappointments. The washrooms had only one toilet roll each, with no extras. With four people in a 2 bedroom apartment, two rolls for 5 days just isn't enough. We were told by reception that we need to purchase more toilet rolls ourself. Also, we were surprised to find out there's no towel service and we had to clean our own towels the entire stay (we received 4 in total, no extras). Also, when we arrived, we did not have any Wi-Fi access. We called the after hours number but they could not provide us with any of that internet information. We had to wait until 9am the next day to get this from the receptionist downstairs. Before you book, it's good to know that you'll need to: — purchase your own toilet paper (no extras) — wash the same bath towels (no extras) — purchase laundry detergent — reception is only from 9am — 5pm. After hours line is not very helpful but really depends on what you need.

Rooms good layout and size, kitchen great size. Quick walk to get to everything.

For the price its ok, pillows were absolutely ridiculous! 4 pillows on a bed all pancake thin. Still using tiny coffee cups like in old motels. Lounges were comfortable at least.

Service is amazing, just a few things like very minimal kitchenware, was a little disappointing. Room was very comfortable and the location was very convenient. All in all a good experience.

Neat and tidy. Kitchen is well stocked with equipment and the place is quite cosy. They have a small games room in the basement with old school arcade game and have gym sauna spa and swimming pool that looks clean. Worth the price paid.

Comfy rooms, everything you need is there. Friendly staff. Rooms are a little dated and floors / washing machine were not clean.

We visited only briefly, to see whether there were any permanent rentals available at this time, but unfortunately there weren't. It's a beautiful building though, & the apartments are quite impressive from the pictures. The staff member behind the counter was lovely to deal with too, which just adds to the place's appeal.

Great spot for a family break in Surfers that provides excellent value for money. Welcoming, helpful staff. Rooms & facilities are top notch. Tram stop at the front door and within walking distance of the heart of Surfers. I'll be sure to stay again on our next visit to the area.

Good place to stay. Big bedroom and living room. Feel like home.

I recently stayed here in April 2014. My room had not much of a view It was neat but a little dirty Plenty of room 2 flat screen tvs 1in the bedroom C: with usb input for pvr or playing your own mp4's. Happy about that The pool and spa was nice The staff were friendly enough.

Great place and I especially like the pool. The view was outstanding, astonishing, beautiful and stupendous.

Rooms are beginning to date. A very enjoyable stay though. The ladies downstairs are very helpful. Rooms are kept in very good condition. Good facilities. Everything you need in a great location.
