Nice place. Would like to come back again.
Stayed at Carlton 2 bed room apartment for 1 night. Poorly maintained the apartment. Very untidy floor, balcony, kitchen dishes and spoons. The toaster, table chairs were rusted. Old stylish apartment. Bathrooms are so old and has heaps of molds and rusted taps and cabinets. The floor had sand and the wardrobe and window blinds had lots of dust. Apart from location nothing good. With the price would never recommend to stay here again. Very dirty apartment. Tv was not working, one light in living area was not working. Overall very bad experience. Definitely the manager should renovate the apartment and focus on cleanliness. A big no to stay here.

This place looks so much better with it's new paint job! Across the road from the beach means you go to sleep with the sound of the surf and wake to the smell of the salt air. It's a gentle stroll to the heart of Surfers Paradise and there is a tram stop on the next corner west that can take you almost anywhere you need to go on the coast or to a connecting bus or train to go where the tram doesn't. The desk is manned by a friendly knowledgeable lady office hours that can assist you with bookings or some local knowledge. There are convenience stores nearby for late night snacks but a well stocked vending machine would be convenient for the pool side afternoon with the kids. This is the place for convenience and comfort without the hefty price.
