Totally disgusting after hours Check-in, took 40 minutes 4 phone calls, and intercom calls that only was picked up twice. Felt like the person was playing games 3 different codes. Quick to take your credit card details shame on you Accor this is destroying your brand if this is what the service has come to. Being a platinum member I will never stay here again.

Very short walk to the Hopo Ferry!
Lots of restaurants and coffee shops.

My autistic son had an attempted physical assault by one of the unit owners and the manager couldn’t or wouldn’t even do anything. Furthermore the rooms were filthy including mould everywhere on the walls and ceilings.
The furniture was falling apart and not appropriate for the price of this facility. Then there is the noise. There is no noise reduction at all in this hotel.
Absolutely atrocious and could not recommend at all.

Great location in downtown Surfers. It’s an old building but has everything you need; kitchen; washing machine & dryer. Location is fantastic and super close to Cavill Ave; Woolworths; various attractions and Surfers Paradise Beach. Didn’t like having to pay for extra toilet paper (we had just over half a roll provided in the room with no spares). Cleanliness could be improved. Noise was an issue for us with the air-conditioning loud and whirring when operating. Nightclub across the road is a nightmare if you like your sleep. Excessively loud music till the wee hours of the morning most nights and bright billboard and signage makes your room feel like the middle of the day even with blackout curtains.

Dirty room, furniture damaged/poor condition, rusty water out of the bathroom taps, staff just entering your room without any permission. Avoid this place at all costs.

Close to everything! Newly renovated room, has everything needed for a self-contained room. Great staff, very helpful. Some noise on the Thursday and Friday nights, which is to be expected for the location. Slept well regardless. Has a heated spa (especially great in winter) along with two pools, bbq and a sauna.

1. Apartment unit is cozy & clean 2. Fully equipped with kitchenware, washing machine & dryer. 3. Great location — within walking distance to most of local attractions (i. E: Surfer Paradise Esplanade, Skypoint Observation Tower, Coles & Woolworth, etc) … 4. Nearest tram station — Cavill Avenue, approximately 50m from the premise. 5. Ease of getting 'Halal' food / produce within the area is a plus point for Muslim traveler.

Seriously don't trust the website… no TV signal… at all… DVD player broken… so yeah… my two year old was really happy… before you put things in room descriptions… make sure they work maybe?

Best value accommodation. Amazing location, facilities are awesome and staff are friendly and helpful. Can't beat it!

Below average rooms, almost like a low quality motel standards. Amazing location though but becuase theres barely any sound proofing it can get very loud at night.

Good place to stay. Has all basic requirements. But there was construction going on since morning 8AM which totally ruined my sleep.

Hotel location 5/5 beds 4/5 room overall 3/5 One bedroom apartment is beautiful but we got a two bedroom apartment as well and that was ridiculously small… We had 1 two seater couch between 4 of us in a two bedroom apartment.

The actual unit room was very clean and refreshing but the hallway and the exterior needed a little touchup other than yhat. It was perfect.

Stayed here recently for 7 nights. I loved it, the room we were staying in was amazing, had an awesome view from our balcony. Staff were friendly and the discounts for the theme parks are awesome. I would love to stay here again next time I'm in the Gold Coast.

Room was pretty modern. Price was ok. Not clean however. Shower and washing machine both had mold, all glass in room was dirty. Front counter ladies were friendly. Main pool on the lower levels was nice with the spa. Forget about playing tennis, net was wrecked and only half court.

Polite friendly staff. Apartment was nice. Few spots need cleaning attention. Would consider staying again. No Wi-Fi though.

My husband me and my 9 year old stayed here on 29th September till 6 October… we loved it to be honest. Our apartment was on 12th floor facing the city it was an awesome experience. It was clean tidy and close to everything. Staff on the front desk were really nice and helpful. We didn't mind the noice at night time coz that's wat we expected staying in the middle of the city. I will surely stay there again and will recommend this place to family and friends… thank you break free Cosmopolitan.

The hotel is a little older I stayed 2 nights (wish it was longer) great location in the heart of Surfers Paradise and close to beach, friendly staff. Hotel as two swimming pools, roof top and 1st floor pool with spa both areas renovated. Light rail at the door and 5 min walk to river cruises. Large units with full kitchen and laundry with lovely views. Great value for money.

What can I say as a family of 4 with a 5 and 8 yr old this was the worst place in the world to stay. If you where 18 and did not want any sleep you would of been ok! I understand we where right on cavill ave but we practically had a night club in our room. When we asked if we could move we got the response 'what do you expect! The 2 bed apartment was poky and small. We paid over $200 a night for this it was a disgrace! Will never stay herr again.

Great place, very central to shops and easy access to public transport and the beach. Great outdoor facilities with pool, spa, bbq and small basketball court.

Lovley rooms and utilities, went when it was under renovations. Very friendly service, great locality and lovely spa and pool.

Terrible. The toilet failed to flush majority of the time and even when it did the job was done poorly, the two bedroom apartment is beyond small with the scored room clearly being a dodgy add on as the sliding door does not connect properly and as there is not a single power point in the room. The front door leads directly into a chair and a table as the space is tiny and crowded. The master bedroom has no bedside tables only adding to the frustration. I was only able to get roughly 10 minutes of hot water before it went cold leaving me waiting until the next day. And to top it all off there is a rooftop bar that plays extremely loud music into late hours of the night making it virtually impossible to relax and get any sleep. This has been an awful experience and I would highly advise staying far away from the Cosmopolitan.

Beautiful hotel! Close to shops, the beach, transport and most importantly bars and clubs. It's in the heart if it all and I recommend everyone to stay here. It's always clean and we'll looked after and the ladies on reception are always happy to help.

I thought my little appartment was excellent, clean and very tidy and neat. Just the fans were a bit grubby, but all in all, I loved my apartment, the staff were always polite and very helpful. I luv the closeness to everything and totally loved the gym, the Spa, the Heated pool and even the COLD pool on the 13 th floor, lucky it was a hot day, it was lovely. The Sauna, everything right there, no need to go anywhere. It was all there, huge BBQ area, just awesome … may be back with grandies next year. Thank you one and all for the awesome holiday experience in your apartment.

Amazing views, beautiful pools, can hear street noise at night, but more of a background noise. So close to the beach and all the good restaurants, not to mention the action. Defiantly recommending it for people who just want it for a place to crash or young families because it has an amazing kitchen.

Spent the last week of January 2016 in one of the apartments on the 6th floor (cant remember room number) with my husband. While the reception, elevators and hallways were remarkably outdated to our disappointment, all that ended once we stepped into our suite. It was very clean, comfortable and obviously recently updated, with spectacular views over the heart of surfers paradise and a section of the ocean. Mere minutes or even seconds to the beach, shops and the tram station. Surfers paradise appears to never sleep, but the noise did not feel intrusive and we were able to sleep really well every night. Dianne at the reception was very helpful (arranged our airport pickup on day of departure and the refund of our bond despite our very early check out). With a few touches to the hallways, elevator, reception and some of the extractor vents in the toilets, it could easily move up one star. Will I stay here again? If given the same room or better… a definite yes!

Very disappointed on room (0534) state at Christmas 2015. Rusty stove top, rusty shower door tracks and many minor faults. All this is very unhygenic. Good view but that was all sorry . No Bus pick up at door as book states. Reception was great very helpful.

Great property in the heart of Surfers Paradise. Can be noisy at night.

Just like David's my room was perfect. I hear some of the private owners don't keep there apartments as well as mine was but room 1165 was good clean and affordable. Only problem I had was that the kitchen knifes were a little blunt and there was no cutting board. Still recommend.

Had two fantastic units with great views, thank you to the owners of the two 9th floor units we were allocated. August 2014 Would definitely stay again and recommend to everyone that wants to be very central. Reception has very friendly helpful staff, facilities are great, fantastic views from these units. An excellent home away from home. Thanks again for lovely clean accommodation David and Tracey.

Hotel in the Center. Ideal for young people. Large apartments. There are 2 pools including one on the roof. The building is very well secured! I recommend it.
