Great motel, the staff was friendly and helpful. Location is close to a lot of things, and comfortable beds. Not a lot of frills but a great motel.

Stayed here because we were stuck in Cairns after landslides on the range from Cairns to port Douglas blocked our way home. We booked online and went straight there. The very lovely front desk lady, Angela, greeted us and already had our room ready and had seen our booking. She very kindly offered us drinks and a mini muffin free of charge and let us know where our room was. The room was clean and spacious with a big king bed. Lovely bathroom and mini kitchen facilities. All of this for $80. Very happy. Thankyou Cairns City palms for looking after us!

Good value for money and loved the complimentary breakfast and welcome drink. Clean and with a safe in the room. Backpack establishment is right next door and slight noise cancelled out by ear plugs. Also close to Cock and Bull restaurant, which has huge meals with a complimentary drink.

Good place to stay, has everything you need. It is preferable to go by car because it is not very close to downtown.

Comfortable clean room everything works, friendly staff, great price, close to variety of food outlets, hospital, airport and city. A simple selection of refreshments for breakfast is included. I stayed once and had a noisy room close to the front but came back another time and asked for one at the rear, much better. It doesn't have a view but has a tropical feel without the expensive trimmings. There is a kitchenette and electric frypan and a microwave. May not be the Ritz but there's nothing to complain about.

Room is ok, but if staff take future bookings, they had better confirm it, like today, where our booking for the following day had been given to someone else and required us to pay more for anoyher room. Not happy.

Absolutely stoked we stayed here whilst in cairns. Amazing hospitality. Good tidy rooms. Will stay here everytime travelling to cairns going forward. Highly recommended. Thank you Cairns City Palms.

Simple rooms kept clean, tidy and nicely presented. Staff were extremely helpful. Close to town and facilities.

Very basic, but friendly staff. Complimentary pod coffee all day. The pool is very close to the road and you are visible when not lying down.

Small apartments at 20min from the lively centre of Cairns: very clean, colorful, with fridge, microwave, sink, small safe. Includes family rooms for 3 with 1 king size bed and one single bed. Coffee, tea, fruit juices, cupcakes offered throughout the day. For breakfast, coffee, tea, fruit juice, milk, scones (sweet rolls), jam, Honey… at disposal. Very friendly and helpful. Pool. Close to shops and small restaurants.

Well-furnished apartment. Everything you need is there. $4 dollars for a wash is a bit over the top, otherwise I can recommend the accommodation. Price/performance fits.

Good place, clean, lounge with coffee is a good add on. Wi-Fi was patchy though.

Rooms are not as good looking as on the pictures. You don't see palms but other customers walking. You've to put courtains so people don't see you. A hard muffin for breakfast and some milk. Not worth it and wouldn't ever come back.

We stayed in a 2 bed apartment. Clean and carpet is new. Just beware the lighting is super white and bright.

It was a pleasure to stay at Cairns City Palms. It is a very good value for money. It has good facilities including pool. It is close to restaurants and shops. I would love to recommend to others and visit again myself.

Receptionist was very nice and helpful. Check in was fast and easy. The rooms are very spacious but not super clean. The blanket on the bed is literally just a sheet. The lock on the door is also questionable. There is one laundry and dryer here which was convenient. $4 each. It's far from the main strip but there are a few options of restaurants and a supermarket nearby.

The reception staff were very friendly and prompt. We had arrived early and were pleased to discover our room was already ready. It is a good location, close to amenities and the beach, the nearest supermarket is a bit of a walk though. The room itself is spacious with everything you could need. The bed is massive and very comfortable. The bathroom is nice with a very good shower. There is good air conditioning and a nice sized balcony also.

Staff were rude on arrival they owned a dog there was dog poo near stairwell bins weren't emptied regularly towels only changed every 3 days no facewashers ran out of toilet paper had to provide our own not real good for the price we paid the staff sat outside all day everyday smoking never talked unless we made conversation enough said.

Price was competitive for the area, had Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Staff were courteous and responsive. There were flying bugs in the room the first day but facility provided bug spray which took care of the little things. Location is good for the airport and the Cairns central.
