If you can treat yourself to come here, do not hesitate. They epitomized the word service, in fact they do six star service. Food was incredible, staff were so friendly and helpful. The location is breathtaking, and the cabins are spectacular. Just do it, you will not regret going there for a single second. This was our second visit, my only regret is why did we wait so long to go back.

We had dinner there last night. The food was amazing, spectacular views and the staff were efficient, friendly and professional.

The new building is very nice and very comfortable indeed. The staff are extremely friendly, polite and helpful. The drinks are maggniiffficent and the food is innnnccrreddible.
There is plenty of historic buildings to have a look at as you wander around the grounds here.
In a word : Fantastic.

Wonderful place to get away to. Friendly staff and beautiful picturesque surroundings. Food is excellent and we booked a room that was pet friendly and the staff were very welcoming to our 2 little dogs allowing them to sit on the veranda with us during meals. We will hopefully be back one day.

Utterly divine views and excellent service. The newly completed homestead is stunningly warmly decorated; large leather lounges offer stylishness without arrogance around a double sided hearth! Top shelf whisky and wine without monster plus pricetags.

Awesome food and friendly staff. A great place to either charter a helicopter or take your own. The staff at Hiddenvale a so accomodating. Special thanks to Damian who makes us feel special whenever we fly out for breakfast. The new menu is awesome and can’t wait to test the new lunch menu.

I was so surprised with how amazing my stay was this weekend. The location is breath-taking. The staff are so welcoming, going above and beyond. The rooms and amenities are incredible. The local kangaroos was the cherry on top! The price exceeds what I usually spend on a weekend away, however, you certainly get what you pay for at Spicers!

It is amazing to see the new building after the fire looking better than the original. The service is excellent and the meals are even better than before.

I took my wife and some friends to Spicers last night for dinner. It was our first time at this amazing venue and certainly won’t be our last. From the relaxed atmosphere to the informative Market Garden Tour with Ash, the amazing views, the sensational sunset over the ranges and let’s not forget the outstanding food and service. Take a camera, take a book, take some friends or take your loved ones. Do yourself a favour and just get there. Now one of our favourite places on the planet!

We are always spoilt rotten whether there for an overnight or just for lunch.
This mornings breakfast was amazing, following our overnight stay to celebrate a significant number wedding anniversary. The extra touches engineered by Claire and her team made us feel very special.

The combination of so many wonderful things — beautifully outfitted bar and restaurant, fantastic service and locally sourced product cooked over the fire. Loved the little tasters between courses. Awesome dining experience. Just go.

We found it a really lovely place to stay the accommodation was excellent. The staff very friendly & extremely helpful. Nothing was too much effort & the food was beautiful.

Wow, what a spectacular setting this place is in, so peaceful and picturesque but the best thing apart from the great staff is the food, 5 star quality but not the arty farty crap, chefs passionate about the quality and how to treat the food is second to none, I’m sure il be going home a lot heavier but well worth it, great weekend getaway to relax and rejuvenate.

One of the best experiences we have enjoyed. Perfect place to stay to get away and spend time with a group of friends. Everything was perfect including the room, food, surroundings and most of all the service. Everyone was polite friendly and genuinely seemed to love working there something that is rarely seen nowadays. Well done for making this a memorable experience for everyone.

This is a working farm that has great accommodation. There is over 100km of mountain bike tracks, luxury villas. A great restaurant. They run events throughout the year.

Beautiful stay! The property has views in all directions it's spectacular and the food from Homage Restaurant and the breakfast room is delightful. Beds are so comfortable and we loved that each room had their own bathroom! Very comfortable lounge rooms and the wrap around varandah was the most perfect spot to enjoy a tastey cheese board and watch the sun go down! Loved it.

Had the pleasure of attending a wedding this weekend at Spicers and I have to say everything was fantastic. Housekeeping were quick to get us into our rooms and were very friendly working around the groomsmen, the Front of House/Reception staff were super helpful with any requests and I don’t think I’ve seen staff genuinely enjoying their jobs as much, and the chefs/kitchen staff were putting out some amazing, fresh and interesting food and we’re definitely coming back again soon. Great to see food growing right next to the kitchen and seeing the chickens having a roam. Thanks for a great weekend.

Another institution of gastronomical excellence. Haven't returned here since before the April fire that incinerated what was one of the most elegant venues for celebrating life in general. Good to hear of the rebuilding schedule, the coffee & scones with good humour still top self. Till next time.

Rode the mtb trails there for the second time, and finished with beer and burgers at the barn. Everything about the trails is absolutely spot on and the service at the barn is great. I just wish the rooms were a bit cheaper so I could make a weekend of it.

Had the most fantastic lunch here, in a gorgeous spot outside. All food was amazing, staff very helpful and friendly. We will most definitely be back again.

Great stay. We were upgraded and had champagne and strawberries provided complimentary for my birthday. The staff could not do enough for us. They were amazing.

Absolutely everything was exceptional from the food to the rooms, and service to the gorgeous grounds.
We can’t recommend Lina highly enough. We looked at several other venues when deciding on where to get married. We fell in love with the place straight away; it just feels like home.
But the biggest thing that put Spicers above everywhere else was Lina. She was the only person we felt that we could truly trust with the most important day of our lives.

Absolutely beautiful location with luxurious accommodation and restaurant that grows their own ingredients and sources from local sellers to cook seasonally. Thank you for our gorgeous stay here, I had a wonderfully relaxing time.

Fantastic country retreat. Amazing food. Beautiful views. Luxurious accommodation and facilities. Plus great mountain biking for the adventurous.

We had a wonderful night away. The service was great, and the room very well kept. Room more hotel style than some other Spicers retreats. We started the afternoon with a market garden tour with the head chef followed by a delightful tasting menu from the garden for dinner! The only shame was we couldn't stay longer.

Highly recommend the tasting menu — well worth the drive and expense. Very creative and flavoursome dishes, all with a country/Australian theme. A theatrical presentation on every dish showcasing local produce. Excellent service and ambience rounds out the whole experience. You do not need to book accommodation to visit the restaurant.

Went to spacers hidden vale adventure park, was awesome had a great time out there. Was some great bike tracks and also tricky ones to. Could have spent all day out there and will visit again.

What a wonderful spot. The food was sensational and the service was probably the best I've ever had at any hotel or retreat. The staff are fantastic and were brilliant with my 21 month old, cleaning a bottle and delivering us dessert in our room after my son was very tired during dinner and had to go to bed. Not to mention the wonderful garden tour with the chef's learning about all the produce the grow on site. A credit to the spicers brand and the management. We'll definitely be back.

We visited the mountain bike tracks and it was awesome. They provide shuttles for a fee on request (for a fee). There is a bike wash and plenty of parking.

Amazing mountain biking trails — something for everyone, enough to keep you occupied for a long time, and always more being built. Well worth a day trip from Brisbane, the Gold Coast, or further. Some of the best riding I've done has been here. Can't speak highly enough of this place, hopefully some day soon I'll come and stay for a few days.

Stunning food and accommodation. I haven't felt that relaxed in… probably ever. Book the Santa Gertruda room if you get the chance and definitely get the full degustation.

Wonderful accommodations, staff, and food. "Relaxed elegance" is their description, and it fits. Our "cottage" was spacious, well laid out, and had a sweeping view. We had 2 meals at Homage, their restaurant that uses vegetables and meat from the premises, and other local sources, that we're among the best we have ever had.

Great place for a get away, for couples, family or even friends. Had my hens weekend away at spicers, the staff were great, helpful, friendly and made sure our stay were perfect. The restaurant has excellent meal, and the rooms are absolutely beautiful. There are spa, multiple swimming pool, mountain biking track, hiking trail and much more to do!

Great Staff — Amazing service Would recommend for a weekend escape. My 5 star rating is based on the resort type and location. This is a Australian Bush based luxury resort. Very different type of luxury from what you would receive overseas however, perfect all the same.

A gorgeous getaway to relax and unwind… or you might just want to hit the mountain bike tracks for a little adrenaline hit, then cool off by the infinity pool with a beer. Highly recommended! Beautiful wedding location too.

Excellent food. Excellent service and great off the beaten track opportunities on their 12, 000 acre property. Cannot wait to head back in the summer and make use of the infinity pool and heated spa!

We had our wedding at Spicers Hidden Vale. It was an incredible day and the staff went above and beyond in everything they did. We then stayed for two days in one of their fantastic rooms.

Sorry team, last time I visited your restaurant I went home starving. The portions were not small they were down right mean. This was a local produce preview and I must say I have not been back since and I live 4 klms away.

There needs to be an additional star for Spicers. We held a surprise 40th birthday party here and everything was fantastic. A very relaxing few days of walks, archery, camp fires, gorgeous scenery, period accommodation and food that simply defies description.

Recently attended a wedding here, the staff were very accommodating and provided overall A+ service, especially at Cottons Restaurant! Spicers Hidden Vale is very much a "bush hideaway", a lovely way to experience it if that's what you're looking for. The staff are very friendly and genuine — the nursery needs more animals though! :).

Had Christmas Lunch 2013 — it was lovely. The food was great, the surroundings beautiful, but most of all the brilliant staff made the day. Thanks.

Visited Spicers Hidden Vale yesterday for lunch at lovely Cotton Tree restaurant. Beautiful place, everything is in 5 star condition. Service was warm friendly and helpful. Meals were delicious, and the views over the valley were divine. Had the best latte I've had in a while relaxing in the lounge area. Baby animals, tennis, bike riding, archery and day spa treatments — it was all a heavenly experience for the whole family. Highly recommend. We are returning next month to bring our overseas visitors along to experience some real Australian hospitality.
