Great place to catch the footy over the weekends, plenty of TVs, fantastic food. Great tasting cocktails and CHEAP!

My friend and I jus enjoyed a wonderful Christmas Day lunch at Prince of Wales. A cheerful but not too noisy atmosphere with Christmas music playing. Food was amazing — a great selection of meats, seafood, salad and veg plus delicious individual Christmas puddings. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Service was prompt and always with a smile. Working over Christmas is. Not easy but the staff here were very focused on making as pleasant and relaxed experience as possible. Merry Christmas and very well done.

We stayed for 3 nights over New Years Eve a very pleasant stay room was clean and tidy, the bed was so comfortable, love the crisp white sheets and Shirley the housekeeper couldn't have done more for us, lovely lady. It was lovely to find out that when we dined in the restaurant we received a 25% discount off our meals for staying there. Meals were great & value for money & the beer was cold. We will be staying again, thank you.

So a mate of mine has a punters club of about 30 people. They liked going to the prince of wales hotel to bet and have a drink. Yesterday was the end of year breakup. Despite 2 managers being on and them sticking their heads in every so often but not actually serving, 1 poor girl had to serve everyone, the tab, keno and even had to leave the bar to change kegs. The management dont seem to believe they are meant to assist when busy. Anyways due to this attitude from management the 30pax punters club are now relocating to North Devils where service is apparently 1000 times better. Probably not good when the management team are the ones that are driving away business.

Meal was awesome, dessert was well prsented.
Double Vision Entertainment was so me. Love the 60s and 70s music.

The POW keeps on supporting live music and the food is top quality especially the $12.95 steak chips and salad, great value and delicious.

We stayed last weekend for a night. Zachary on front desk provided excellent customer service. He and Shirley accommodated an early check in which was greatly appreciated. Lovely, clean and modern rooms. Nice and central!

The food is delicious and staff are attentive, highly recommend giving this place a go, especially the $5 steak and chips on Sundays. Shirley is such a lovely and friendly lady over there! Go Shirley! woohoo.

Stayed there last nite to get to BNE airport esrly next day. Never stayed at a pub before so did not realise share toilets! Staff were great and really looked after us. Great food and only 10 minutes to airport! Thanks!

Staff are lovely, ordered surf and turf, steak was cooked well. Sauce was just straight up cream! Fish and chips and schnitzel were so small! Unisex toilet. Nothing flash. Wouldn't go back.

We were there on a Sunday morning 11.30 there were a lot of diners in the restaurant bar area food looked good. Nice clean gaming area. They will even chaperone you to your car.

I stayed above this pub for one night. When I was told a room above a pub from the 1900's I imagined quaint. I got pokies. I had a fight with the check in staff for not bringing my credit card, "you should always carry your credit card with you" I was told about six times. The room was… Well it was clean. Just make sure you bring your credit card.

Not a bad pub at all, very good lunch specials. Very well prepared. One staff member in particular stands out, Claire… She made or experience brighter and friendlier than you would expect to experience in such a venue.

I was there with a band. There was sufficient parking available out the back of the hotel. Gaming room is spacious enough that your not bumping shoulders with others. The restaurant looked nice and the service was excellent aswell as the food and prices. Not much of a smoking area if that's what you're interested in. But all in all we had a good time.

A decent pub with good food specials which are quite good for pub grub. Especially impressed the attention to the vegan menu. A fairly working class pub crowd, no airs or graces, but not a bad spot.

I was there at 11pm and it is open till m. Spacious and casual, and gaming too. Quiet then and nice staff. I was there once for lunch little cost and good meal from cheerful Aussie young ladies Open till 4 am.

After a hard day's work the Prince of Wales dining experience was a welcome change of pace. The atmosphere was laid back but not dead and I enjoyed the company of the more mature patrons. I've only been once, but I definitely intend to eat there again. Parmy was great.

Today I had the rump steak lunch and it was lovely. The orange dressing on the salad was delicious. For dinner I had Hawaiian parmigiana for main and blueberry cheesecake for dessert. Both were absolutely superb and extremely delicious. Thank you for working on Anzac Day.

The Prince of Wales Hotel at Nundah, known to the locals as the top pub has been a Nundah institution for many years. Always consistent, it's known for it's good cold beer, friendly staff and reasonable priced meals. It's ever changing menus and daily specials offers something for everyone. A good pub tab and separate poker machine area are well maintained, if you're interested in a flutter and with ample parking and a well stocked and we'll priced drive thru, it's a great place to spend some time if you're in the Nundah area. What a fantastic place to stay! I am really really happy with my stay here. Highly recommended. I never write reviews but I took the time to write this one because of how well we were treated here. We stayed in the rooms without a bathroom and didn’t have a problem. Air conditioning was great and didn’t have any problems with noise. The kitchen downstairs is great too the steak was perfect And the fish and chips were top notch. The staff are the friendliest I’ve ever met they make the place what it is and I’m really happy with the service you couldn’t beat it if you tried I will definitely stay here again! I have really enjoyed my visit here and if you are after a cheap place to stay closer to the train station then this is the one!

Its a pub. Pub food and atmosphere, pretty good food. I go weekly with the family.

Food was good. Prices are fair. Service at the bar was a bit hit and miss though.

If you haven't tried the Prince of Wales restaurant for lunch or dinner, I would highly recommend, throwing caution to the wind and go in and enjoy yourself. Recently with two friends, we had lunch and I had pork spare ribs, which were delicious, so much so I went back again this week. I must compliment the management of the Prince of Wales hotel who have been fortunate enough to find a talented chef, and the waiters and waitresses behind the bar were exceptionally courteous and always willing to go out of their way to satisfy the customer. Its ok. Clean. Stuffed around with reservation but was sorted out and they were accommodating. GPS causes you to stop under overpass on main HWY. Not their fault just be aware.

Stayed overnight in a Studio King and Single. While the room was old it was neat, clean and airconditioned. There was a fridge, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, as well as tea and coffee making facilities in the room. I chose to stay overnight as it was cheaper than getting a taxi or Uber home after New Year's celebrations. The staff were friendly and helpful I really couldn't have expected more from this type of accommodation.

I had pork ribs for lunch and they were moist and falling off the bone. Delicious. Drinks are reasonably priced. And the staff are very friendly. They have a Sunday $8 steak and chips deal, which I will try next time.

Went there for dinner. Had chicken pie and mash. Food was spot on, but I guess you can't go too wrong with a pue. Mash and veges were excellent though. Place was quiet. Probably less than 10 people there. Service was great. Bar staff were friendly, helpful and did an excellent job. Don't expect anything other than pub service of course! Great 8 dollar steaks on Sundays at lunchtime. Interior is very neat and clean and it is an easy place to talk at lunchtime (not super busy but not empty either). Staff are always friendly.

Came for the pool table, service was really nice even though they were planning on closing that area early, they kept it open for us.

The food choice is awesome, the quality is of high standard and it's a reasonable price. There's a great selection of spirits and beer which is also priced nicely. The live music is wicked. I've seen many local independent bands who were tight as.

Good, clean, inexpensive place to stay with great access to public transport and services. I stayed here in between flights and it was just what I was after. Good value for money.

Sports bar is excellent, pokies machine area was nicely set up, love the location and the overall look of the venue.

There is always some event happening here. Great place to eat and children get to colour in. Great staff and there's a sports bar where you can bet on the various races.

For a 3+ star hotel this was great. The room was clean and large. The staff friendly and helpful, carrying our large suitcases up the stairs for us. Shopping centre across the road. Shared toilets are clean with a great shower, downside — it was a fair walk from our room! Otherwise, very good value for money if overnighting before a flight.

Best $10 lunch menu schnitzel with mushroom gravy. Served in 10 mins by friendly staff. Will definitely be back. Thanks guys!

Room was good place to stay as I had to catch an international flight early the next morning. Corridors smelt like smoke due to people smoking right by the fire exit door. Thankfully this didn't transfer to the rooms.

Very tidy and clean, but a bit dark and old fashioned for my liking. Also, it was empty, so no atmosphere. Toilets were clean which is always a good sign. Staff were nice and helpful as well.

Absolutely amazing service! This hotel and it's staff were/are absolutely amazing. Not only have they accommodated my husband amazingly while he's away on work but they staff are so polite and helpful and have gone far and beyond out of their way. Very, very happy.

I really like this place as a local… I know the Royal is the new thing in Nundah Village but this place is something special… we had a lunch there for my mother's birthday service was OUTSTANDING! and the manager that served us was more than accommodating… I actually loved the fact that the staff were not straight out of bar school kids with no life experience, it added more flava to the place… we will always return her as its a great local… Keep up the good work POW!

The whole rooms' decor was poorly presented, yet clean and neat. Came here looking for sleep? Forget about it! The rooms have windows that are made of thin air, you can hear the very 'music' of the streets in your ears like you're sleeping on the streets instead, being a light sleeper I am writing this right now out of pure discomfort and extreme irritation at how inconvenient this is — everything else was fine, service was fine staff was alright and water is warm. I have not spent much time in the pub as I only came here so I could sleep and take my flight to Sydney the next morning. TD;LR: Really not recommended, but for the price it was fair, but uncomfortable. Would recommend if you sleep like a log!

This venue has great staff and the locals are friendly but the decor is dated, the whole place needs to be renovated, the food is pretty average but for the price you can't complain. Great punk/metal bands on Friday and Saturday night.

Prices well over priced for a pub of such caliber as this one.
